Brilliant location just by the pleasure beach and sandcastle. Welcomed by a lovely receptionist who checked us in and gave us great instructions on room keys, WiFi etc with a huge, friendly smile. Noisy sometimes outside but rooms were peaceful. A tiny bit of spillover noise as other guests arrived / left etc, but minimal compared to other places we've stayed. We booked a six bed room and it was spacious, clean, well equipped and the beds were super comfy. Showers were clean and hot. Have tried other places including the big blue etc, but always come back here as it is just what a family needs, at a super affordable cost.

There was a very slight drip on the cold tap in one of the bathrooms. However, I reported this and it was sorted out by the time we returned from a trip out.

The location of this hotel is perfect, just across the road from the South Pier. We booked a room for two adults and three children and there was one double bed, one single and two bunks - enough room for us all with a TV and tea/coffee facilities and a small fridge. The room was very clean, comfortable with nice bedding. The breakfast was really nice, choice of cereals, juice, full English which was served hot, and toast with jam, marmalade - top-ups were readily available from the hotel staff. The staff were friendly and helpful.

There could have been more storage space in the bathroom, only a very narrow glass shelf to put toiletries and no hanging hooks or rails for towels. Personally I didn't like the children's "arcade" downstairs as it was really just little sweets/toys to be won for £1 a time. Having three children with us proved difficult to keep them away - given the number of arcades in Blackpool, I think this space could be more of a play area rather than an expensive place for parents/carers :-(

The whole bed and breakfast. The hotel staff was so welcoming especially the young Polish lady on reception who my son loved chatting with and talking about his day. The lady who ran breakfast and cleaned the rooms was so attentive and polite and nothing was too much trouble for her. We have stayed at danecourt since our son was 3 and he is now 8 years old we return at least twice a year and have a good 3 days each time. The breakfast is fresh and fantastic quality and such a lovely option to choose from. The children's arcade is a good idea and my children love the pool table and ice hockey. Loved the rooms with lovely comfy beds we slept amazing x

Nothing everything was spot on.

The hotel was clean and beds were comfortable.got clean towels everyday. The lady who works there was nice and friendly.

The bar shut at half past 7 on the Sunday night. They didn't tell us this plus we were sitting at the bar buying drinks and they pulled the shutter down. Then one of the kids told us the man behind the bar told him the child that the bar was shutting. Not good.

The Staff were polite and explained everything upon on arrival. The exterior was clean and tidy with plenty of seating. The Towels were refreshed every day and Fresh milk, tea and coffee supplied each day. Loved waking up in a morning and looking out the window to see the sea. There is a bar onsite and mini arcade for the kids. the prizes in the machines were great too for £1. Everything we needed was within close distance. Pleasure beach 5 mins walk. Water park, Cheap shops across the road. Loads of attractions within 5-10 mins walk.

A small fridge for fresh milk would help. The main double bed was uncomfortable and I slept in the bunk bed one night for a good nights rest. We were in a budget family room but we only needed it as a base really because we knew we would be busy doing loads of things around Blackpool.

It was easy to find, so welcoming from the first minute we arrived and very clean. It was also a two min walk to everything we wanted (beach, arcade, water park and theme park) Staff were so friendly, breakfast was very tasty. On site parking and also we were free to come and go whenever. Kids were entertained with a wee arcade and also a pool table and air hockey. Found the bar quite cheap and lovely to sit in.at night as a family. Will definitely be back!

All the staff were so excellent, friendly and welcoming to us! Me and my partner stayed for the punk festival, we are regular visitors and in terms of looking after us the staff were first class. They have a nice little bar on site with a great range of drinks at a very reasonable price. It's a short work to the tram and there is a secure carpark across the street that you can drive in and pay for. It's 2 minutes from the velvet coaster wetherspoons and a spar shop. Some other nice little takeaways/chippies up and down the street for coming back later.

Would have liked a bigger window for breakfast as it was only 8 till 9. It was a bit hot on the top floor and there was no aircon, but really this not not detract from what is a great, reasonably priced comfortable hotel!

Excellent location, staff very friendly but professional, very clean, great facilities

If I was being pernickety then maybay that outside windows top floor of room I was in could do with a clean but it’s bird poo from the seagulls, not the hotel’s fault. Kebab hut across the road seemed to have music blaring out quite loud which could potentially be annoying but as I was so tired I slept through it. Same with small group of men out the front of hotel had a speaker with music and drinking but the were gone by 10.30pm, maybay request a room away from the front if worried about noises as it can be quite a busy street.

Everything you need is there, location excellent, tram stop at end of road, car parking around area, very friendly obliging owners/staff, family friendly, main thing for me...clean everywhere, especially beds!!. Would ask for a lower bedroom though next time, lots of stairs!!! . Breakfast served by 2 lovely ladies, and plenty of it, will definetly stay there again if i go Blackpool again, only one downer, bedroom so hot, as heating was on all night, couldnt turn down radiator, better than being cold i suppose. 10 out if 10 for us

Too hot in bedrooms at night

The room although small was comfortable. The shower /bathroom was also small but sufficient . The shower was modern and worked perfectly. The breakfast which included cereals and orange juice plus a full English was good. The staff were friendly, Helpful and efficient. Overall bearing in mind the relatively low cost the Danescourt was excellent value for money.

As I said the room was a little cramped. More of a single room really. But was acceptable as we only really slept there.
