Accommodation with 24 hour access being separate from the pub and restaurant gave the best of both worlds and fitted in well with the fact that I was not getting back from Cropredy music festival till 1am - that might have been a problem for some smaller establishments. Long breakfast serving hours. Very friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere. Good air conditioning so that windows could be kept closed, otherwise traffic noise from the adjacent A43 trunk road would be a problem.

At breakfast there was often a shortage of readily available coffee cups or milk and the coffee machine was temperamental. The table service needed prompting on a couple of the mornings. Admittedly the fact that I was having breakfast towards the end of the serving hours may not have helped!

The room was spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable, and the water pressure was fantastic. I needed to work while staying there, and the table/desk was perfect for my needs. The wifi was strong, too. Even though it's near a road, the rooms were seemingly soundproof. The carpet in the room was immaculate and seemed almost new. This sounds silly, but I've got a bit of a phobia of gross hotel carpets. The shower was clean and worked well. All in all, the room far exceeded my expectations. The staff were friendly, informative, and prompt at helping. I make trips to the area regularly, and I will definitely be staying again.

The bed was large and comfortable, with crisp fresh linen. There was hanging and shelf space plus a small desk for working. The temperature was pleasant and we could control it easily from the panel. Staff were friendly and professional. On the whole the room had been cleaned to an acceptable standard. fixtures and fittings were in good repair

There was nowhere to put a cup of tea next to my side of the bed...if everything had been moved along 10cms a small shelf would have made that first cup of the day so much easier. There were significant cobwebs around the window which let the room down. And the only other little thing was a shelf that bisected the full length mirror .... a design flaw so I couldn't ensure I looked ok

It's in a great location, 10 mins from Silverstone which was why we were there for the weekend. The room was lovely and comfortable, air conditioning was a bonus. Couldn't hear the road noise when the window was shut. The restaurant was good. Tasty food. Friendly staff.

Some attention to detail not the best in the room. Mould along the bottom of shower curtain. The bathroom bin was in a poor state, needed throwing out and replacing.Tea tray wasn't clean, kettle was full of limescale. But it wouldn't put me off staying again!

A clean, comfortable, modern, motel-type building. Well-designed and everything worked. Excellent shower. Pleasant staff. One bonus is a garage with decent, though typically garage-expensive, stocks of food in case you need a late snack (I think it was M&S but it may have been Waitrose) a couple of minutes' walk away. I'd stay there again if in the area. Note (Feb 2023) Satnav doesn't seem to recognise the postcode, but gets you close enough.

I'm fit so the walk up the stairs and along the corridor with my (fairly heavy) case and bags wasn't a problem. But it might be for some people, so a lift would have been a great asset to have designed into the building. Make sure, if you aren't up to carrying stuff, that you request a ground-floor room.

The staff are very helpful. Changed our room to ground floor to avoid the stairs. Chris put away the 3rd bed for us. Decent sized room. Basic amenities. Breakfast served in the Pub.Classic cooked breakfast: hash brown, black pudding, Cumberland sausage, baked beans, 2 bacon slices, mushroom, grilled tomato. Brown or white bread, toaster. Coffee machine included range of coffees Latte and cappuccino etc., Continental breakfast with croissant and pain au chocolate. Jam and marmalade. Couple of juices. Under £10. Discount for hotel stayer. Food in pub also had 20% discount for hotel guests.

Car park area and entrance into hotel building frozen on entrance ramp. Black ice. No grit or salt on it. Risk of slipping. Tub height a bit high if you have difficulty stepping up and bath narrow not too much room in the shower. Needs a better non slip surface in the bath.

For the price you pay this is an excellent hotel, Staff are very friendly, room was clean, food was great. I would be very happy to stay again.

Only one thing the Coffee machine at breakfast, my latte tasted as if it had a lot of sugar in it. If you like sugar in your coffee not a problem, sadly I don't and I couldn't drink it. Plus side the hotel is next to a Costa Coffee so you can just pop in there for your morning caffeine hit.

Friendly helpful staff, particularly Julie on the breakfast bar. Very well managed. Large bar and restaurant with a bit of outdoor space. Choice of 3 levels of breakfasts at different prices. Good sized spotless room and bathroom with all the switches and shelves etc where you want them. Low price makes this a bargain

Close to A34 but this didn’t disturb sleep and was screened by trees. Position will be convenient for people travelling on

We always enjoy our stay, our room is a good size, bed is big and comfy, was nice and clean. Over at the pub it's a warm welcome with lovely staff, speedy service and beautiful food. We were celebrating my partners 40th on this occasion, we had to pre order which wasn't a problem we got there and it was fantastic from start to finish. Especially our server Ben what a lovely lad he definitely made the night more enjoyable can't fault any of it from start to finish

The only thing I would say needs more attention is the bathroom, there was a couple of small things that need to be sorted

Location for Grand Prix looked great but logistics for event a nightmare. Taxis 40£ a pop for 5 miles trip each way. and 2 to 3 hours....that's Silverstone problem not yours!!!! Your staff were great and very helpful, no problem and your bar is very comfortable. and relaxing after a long day 👍

Your cooked breakfasts were awful for both of us.. Only one we had after first day....sorry.👎
