Brightonwave Hotel

I liked Richard and Simon, my room, the amazingly comfortable bed, the location in Kemptown with a lovely park and shops just up the road. I liked the bowl of fruit and the little tin of choccies, the dvd library and the way the window boxes are kept so neat. The breakfast choice is lovely and cooked to perfection. The fans in the room to keep it cool and as a solo traveller feeling safe and cared for. New water bottle every day as well.

It is a bit noisy overhead at breakfast time in the basement room but it didn’t really bother me. Clearly most people are up for breakfast but I am not a morning person 😉😂This was a minor point and didn’t affect my enjoyment of the stay.

Richard and Simon's impeccable hosting made for an outstanding weekend getaway, earning a perfect 10 out of 10 rating from me and wife. Their property, located just moments from the beach, was complemented by two exquisite salmon and egg breakfasts and a plethora of well-thought-out touches that go beyond the ordinary. From abundant towels and bedding to additional mirrors, air conditioning, and refreshing supplies of bottled water and milk, they left no stone unturned in ensuring a flawless and delightful much needed weekend escape from the grind.

Nothing it was just what a hard working couple needed. We were also lucky with the weather and got around 66,000 steps in.

Everything was great! Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean. Every little detail had been thought of and provided for. Breakfast was delicious and there was so much to choose from, all freshly cooked and very good quality! The location is perfect for restaurants and shops. We used the on street parking permits (purchased in the hotel on arrival) and managed to park right outside the hotel for the duration of our stay. Thank you Richard and Simon for making our stay so enjoyable! We will definitely return here on our next trip to Brighton.

This was a great place to stay for a long weekend shopping. The room was large, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was beautifully cooked. Everyone was really friendly and helpful. We were lucky to find street parking near the property and at £10 per day through the hotel, this was far more reasonable than we had seen elsewhere. Great location with some nice little restaurants nearby and only a short stroll either to the sea or the town.

The room was very a good size, clean, with a balcony, and a bathroom on the smallish side, but functional, with a good size shower. Hard to beat the location, easy walk to the Brighton Palace Pier, bus stops and many restaurants, shops and markets close by. Very good breakfast included. Our hosts couldn't have been more accommodating during our stay.

There were stairs to our 1st floor room, but Richard, one of our hosts, helped with the luggage and this was only a small issue.

Its in a great position just a short walk to the seafront, pier, and the shops. Our hosts were excellent, very helpful, the room was clean and tidy with a comfortable bed and everything you could need in the en suite (had you forgotten anything) The wi fi was excellent, fast and no dropping off (unlike other places we have stayed) The breakfast was spot on and plenty of it to set you up for the day. We will definitely be going back again.

Lovely, friendly hosts who went out of their way to make sure that our stay was comfortable. Good sized clean room with a garden. Bathroom was spotless with a jacuzzi bath, plenty of towels. Comfortable bed with quality bedding & pillows. Mini fridge well stocked with water, milk. Complimentary chocolates. Delicious cooked/continental breakfast. Few minutes walk to shops/restaurants. Great location, 5 minute walk to Brighton Pier.

Myself and my partner stayed for the weekend as we had a wedding in Brighton. From when we arrived we were made to feel very welcome and both the owners took the time to chat to us. The location was superb, atmosphere was calm and relaxed due to the owners approach. I can see why they have won the brighton breakfast award 2022/2023 it was outstanding. We will most certainly be returning here again. Although there is not a parking area you are supplied ay your request for a £10 permit which lasts 24 hours

In order of what matters to me most I’d say super Friendly! Comfortable! Clean! But also great location for mooching around Kemptown, beach and Laines. Breakfast was YUMMY. Room was fab with a ridiculously comfy bed! Richard and Stephen were perfect hosts 😊

Bit of noise from the street due to pub on the corner but if you choose somewhere close to the action then this is to be expected.

I enjoyed a perfectly pleasant stay at Brightonwave. Richard and Simon are the consummate hosts, the breakfasts were great, and the accommodation very central to all of Brighton's main points of interest.

Not so much as a criticism but a suggestion - but I would have enjoyed a wider selection of teas with some non-caffeinated options in my room and maybe the option of a mug for the hot chocolate. That said, I am sure if I had asked, the hosts would have been only too happy to have catered to my needs.
