Good breakfasts. Location is great for visiting friends in Barrowford. Nice room, comfy bed

The pillows are very hard. The shower floor was very slippy as it has a very smooth surface - Perhaps a shower mat should be provided. The cleaning of the room lacked attention to detail, I found a contact lens on the carpet. The edges of the carpet\ room had not been vacuumed and it was not well vacuumed in general when the previous occupant left.

I would highly recommend this hotel. The rooms were extremely exceptional. The food was outstanding. The staff equally brilliant.

I would just have a small recommendation. Take the minted peas off the menu. Minted peas do not belong in a northern establishment. I was expecting mushy peas as this is what I’m told is perfect in the north.

First impressions were excellent, we were given an extremely warm welcome. All the staff we met were really friendly, and Lauren was absolutely brilliant. Sunday lunch was fantastic, the menu also had a good variety of other dishes to choose from, and there's an extensive wine selection too. Breakfast was really tasty. Our room was a really good size, bed super comfy, and bathroom also a good size. Will definitely return for a second visit!

Due to a power strike we didn’t have breakfast ! No fault of the staff or property. The staff were a credit to the place, happy and friendly, nothing too much trouble and everything done with a smile 😃

Food although good was overpriced, on the positive side the Raspberry and Gin trifle was the best trifle I’ve ever tasted 🥳🥳 The room was adequate but the bed was hard and uncomfortable and our sleep was disturbed on a couple of occasions but that may have been the snow storm outside 🤔

I've have stayed here 7 times "Mon-Fri" for work over last the 4 months, so it can't be that bad if I keep going back. The staff are great, nice and friendly. The food was good quality, I have tried everything on the menu apart from the veggie stuff, even had all the starters as a main course lol. Rooms are decent as well.

Delighted to discover Forest as a stop off point during our trip from South Wales to Harrogate and I’m sorry we weren’t staying longer. Everything was clean, comfortable and really good value. If we do the trip again we’ll definitely go back. (It’s very convenient for Boundary Mill🛍)

The service in the restaurant was poor , sat down at 6pm , didn’t get my main course till 7.15, had to remind waiting staff that I had ordered drinks and didn’t come Altogether sub standard

Excellent location with lovely views. Rooms were modern and spacious. Restaurant and bar area was busy but well staffed with attentive and very happy servers. Food choices for the evening meal were very good and everything well presented. Good selection of beers. All in all a great visit.

Forest is such a lovely hotel and pub! The room was very clean and cosy. We really enjoyed breakfast and the lunch was great as well. Thank you to all staff for being helpful, accommodating and always smiling. This was our second visit and we will definitely book again!
