Room was modern & plenty of room. Bottles of water & coffee machine . Bathroom also had plenty of room with nice large white fluffy towels. Bed was large & comfy. Staff very friendly . Lovely Breakfast, nicely cooked & presented .

Bed needed a larger duvet as only sat on top of the bed . Blind at the window could be better as it lets in a lot of light from the outside lighting & when it gets light. (Bring an eye mask if you like it dark)

We had lunch from the set menu and also breakfast both mornings - both were excellent. The quality of the food was superb and we loved the fact that a lot of seasonal vegetables and herbs are grown on site. The room was great and the bed really comfortable. Staff were wonderful - attentive and friendly. Location is in a quiet village outside the city we walked in to the city once which was a lovely scenic walk (1 hr) and used taxi rest of time. If you have the use of your own car the property is located in a lovely area to tour around.

Would have been useful to have a shelf/ holder in the shower area for shampoo/ shower gel, but as we were in a twin room which also catered for disabled visitors there may have been a reason for this.

Although we had a change of plans and made separate bookings for consecutive days of stay, the host had been very helpful in arranging the rooms. The rooms appeared recently renovated and are tidy and cosy (but perhaps an extra chair can add to the convenience?). Bathroom facilities are good. I could not remember whether WIFI is free, however, there is free Netflix and internet in the entertainment bundle. Parking is just outside the rooms, but if the vehicle is large it will take some skills to manoeuvre. Breakfast: English breakfast with orange juice, chocolate pastry, and coffee/tea. We mostly just spent the nights there and did not hang around long enough to explore the rest of the compound.

Wish I did not go there with a van, it was slightly too big for the car park.

Easy access, not too far (not too close) to the motorways. Convenient kind of motel / private access to the room, really great when having dogs. We were happy to be welcome with our 4 wel behaving collies. Clean and comfortable room with good beds and nice bathroom. Thanks for the breakfast to-go due to our early leave on Sunday morning.

Restaurant guests leave the parking at night loudly which isn’t nice when you are just next-door trying to get to sleep. The parking also is maybe a bit too small for both the hotel and restaurant guests.

The host was very friendly and super helpful; he clearly cares very much about his business. The little extras that most places don't bother with anymore made a big difference eg: a welcome homemade chocolate in your room, coffee machine, wash products in the bathroom, handwash towels in the restaurant toilets (not paper towels or hand dryer). The room/bathroom was spotlessly clean and decorated beautifully. The breakfast was delicious! The little pot of yoghurt was amazing!! I can only imagine what dinner would be like there - we'll be back to try it one day 😉 The location is beautiful. We ran through the village and along the canal towards Waterbeach, so I can highly recommend the location as well as the B&B itself. A lovely little B&B - highly recommended 😊

Perfect location in a lovely village close to Cambridge. We also liked that although Booking.Com hadn't communicated that we required twin beds to the landlord the error was gracioulsy corrected in no time. Thank you Mark.

We booked through Booking.com and had it confirmed that we required twin beds - which looked fine on the confirmation however this was not communicated to the landlord so not his fault that it wasn't correct but problem solved very quickly and cheerfully. It was clear that on the day we stayed there wasn't any breakfast provided so no problem at all as we prepared by bringing our own goodies but a small fridge and maybe essential cutlery and plates would have been helpful. BUt other than that we loved it.

Breakfast was amazing! The lady that booked us in and served breakfast was brilliant. The room was lovely and clean. We took a short walk to a local restaurant in the evening located on the river which was also lovely.

The evening menu, wasn’t anything I personally would eat it was very much fine dining! But wasn’t a massive issue as we went to a local restaurant that was about a 8 minute walk through the village.
