The place was decent. Its clean. The location is good as it is near the train station. It is also near Sainsbury's local so thats a big convenience. They have communal kitchen with microwave, oven, and kettle. They are providing make your own coffee, also sugar and tea. They provided 2 bottles of water upon arrival. They have the TV and you can watch Netflix. Internet is good. I was able to bring my laptop and connect to their wifi. The owner also called a friend to help me bring my luggage upstairs. Thats a thoughtful gesture.

The water on the sink doesn't drain fast. Thats my only complaint.

Single female traveling. The room. Was spacious with a pleasant outlook over Cambridge, the welcome was warm & friendly. I used the restaurant and the food absolutely beautiful! Check in was simple & straight forward. The entrance well lit and not a problem, steps up to the room, also not a problem for me, I stayed 2 nights, the location is extremely convenient. Very reasonable price too. I didn't use the kitchen so can't comment. Bathroom was functional with a very good shower. I'm glad I didn't take into account the other reviews & went ahead with this booking. I will definitely be returning!. There was plenty of storage space in the room.

Room was in good condition. Bathroom was well maintained and information about how to access my room was delivered the day before my visit including info on how to find the entrance so I knew exactly where to go and what to do. Bed was comfy and inclusion of a fan in the room was a nice addition.

TV wasn't working but not a big deal as I didn't really have time to use it anyway. Only 2 pillows on a double bed and the pillows weren't great and individually offered very little head support. Luckily as I was on my own I could use both pillows which was sufficient but if I was traveling with someone that would've been a cause of concern.

The family owning the property couldn't have been nicer or more friendly. The room was clean, bright, warm, tidy, with plenty of wardrobe space and its own shower/toilet. There was a shared kitchen in the adjacent room with a cooker, microwaves fridge/freezer, kettle (toaster and blender?) The food in the restaurant below was excellent and the ambiance was warm and friendly.

My only concern was the back entrance to the rooms being a bit unappealing. A wooden staircase leading up from the back alley, but everything else about my stay here well exceeded all my expectations for such budget property.

This was a fantastic place to stay! The owners were super relaxed and friendly, and the room very warm and cosy - especially nice to arrive to on a cold winter night. The bed is also extremely comfortable and has soft fluffy blankets. Towels, fresh water, a hairdryer even a fridge are provided. We can also recommend eating at the restaurant below, which has delicious food and an equally relaxed atmosphere.

The fridge was very convenient to have, as we had food to store, but was also very noisy and somewhat disturbing at night. On the second night we unplugged it for a few hours but I guess this isn't sustainable for someone staying for a long time. Other than that, everything was perfect!

Room was very clean and spacious. Location was great too, a lot of restaurants and shops etc within 5 minutes of walking. Even though the streets were noisy since it was a Saturday night, no noise reached the room. Very peaceful and quiet despite being in the heart of the action.

Kitchenette and ironing facilities right by the room. No hassle check in. Smart tv in room Was good for a little relaxin. The location is fantastic

Could have done with some toiletries, tea n coffee, milk . But didn’t take away the fact how pleasant the stay was.

The staff were friendly and welcoming and helped us with the bags as there were two sets of stairs to our room. There were kitchen facilities if we wanted to use as well as a fridge and a bathroom with stand-in shower (which I prefer) and the water was instantly hot. The room was quiet too, as it’s at the back of the building, you don’t have hear traffic from the main road.

This is a very simple hotel with no perks, but it's very clean and comfortable and great value for the money. It's run by a very friendly family. I would highly recommend it.
