Secure parking, 10-15 minute easy walk into town. Very quiet at night. Heidi and Paul were wonderful hosts and go the extra mile. You can help yourselves to refill refreshments for room and clean mugs/glasses. Good selection of snacks in room. We ate our sandwiches in front garden one night which was very pleasant. Many ingredients for breakfast were home made, Heidi gave me the recipe for the muesli which was delicious. It was warm so grateful for shutters on windows and the fan in room. We stayed in Blue Skies room which was amazing and spacious bathroom too. Bed was very comfortable. Definitely recommend and would return if in the area again.

Nothing.

We were a group of 5 people and we stayed 2 nights at a lovely B&B at Harriet House. It’s a short walk into town. All the rooms were lovely with everything you need and a great breakfast! The entire house is of an excellent standard. Paul and Heidi were lovely hosts who made us feel welcome from the minute we walked in and catered to every need. The rooms were very cosy. The place is in walking distance from the city centre and also Canterbury West train station. You can leave your car in the secured car park in front of the B&B. Breakfast was all freshly made, with Full English breakfast option, cereals and fresh fruits. The granola is freshly made. Our hosts were very friendly. They went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed during our stay. We cannot recommend this place enough. We will definitely come back.

Lovely friendly hosts Heidi & Paul have a fantastic B&B just 15 mins walk from Canterbury centre. We loved the exceptional cooked breakfast options, the easy self-serve refills for our room (teas, coffees, biscuits etc, including fresh filtered water - it's nice to be treated as an adult, rather than these sorts of items being rationed out, as in other establishments) and being so close to the city centre, bus routes and train station. It made an ideal base for our first foray into Kent and the surrounding seaside towns.

Very quick check in, beautiful bedroom, hospitality cupboard just help ourselves to coffee, biscuits, and even marshmallows. The breakfast room was in a conservatory, breakfast was delicious, fruit, yoghurt, cereals, pastries and a cooked breakfast as well if you wanted it, just be careful with the honey pot when you squeeze it the honey comes out at the bottom. It was a 20 minute walk into the city, there is free parking at the house as well. We were only there for 2 days but enjoyed every minute of it. Do walk the streets of the city so many shops, and cathedral.

cant think of anything.

The property was ideally located with a less than 0.5 mile stroll into the center of town along a scenic path by the river. The property was spotless and every amenity one could imagine was provided by our hosts who were engaging, friendly and informative.. The breakfast offered so many options including gluten free for one of us with celiac disease.. Everything was delicious. We only wish we had planned to stay longer. We went to Canterbury following a Rick Steves Best of England tour that ended in London. Next time we will contact them directly rather than via an intermediary.

This is a little gem of a bed & breakfast place run by a lovely accommodating couple Paul & Heidi. The rooms and ensuite are impeccably clean, the bed was comfortable and spacious for 2 people Also they provide water everyday. The guesthouse is only 10 minutes away down to the stream by the water to the Canterbury Cathedral. I highly recommend this place and by the way breakfast was delicious & varied and served in the lovely conservatory overlooking the garden and greenery

The choice of five breakfasts were very good and was the standard of food that was cooked and available were of excellent quality. The friendliness of Heidi & Paul made me feel very much at ease and relaxed where nothing was too much trouble . Everything that I wanted in the room I had was provided for .even a fan which was very welcome . Overall , I would definitely return , should the need arise.

I can’t really think of anything that would have made my stay even more comfortable than it was .

Communication was excellent in the lead up to the stay. Met by Heidi who walked through how everything works and pointed us in the right direction to town. Paul was great in helping my husband park. Room facilities were excellent. My husband found the bed a little hard but that is more personal than anything. We did a tour of Canterbury on the day of our checkout. Heidi and Paul graciously agreed for us to park longer on the drive. Breakfast was brilliant, freshly cooked, generous portions! We sat next to a family with a young child who enthusiastically declared she loved everything about the place and wanted to come back the next weekend. Would definitely be back and recommended this place.

Not anything specific to call out

Lovely B&B with excellent facilities, our room was very comfortable. The location is a 10-minute walk to the centre of Canterbury and there are buses to Whitstable on the door-step. Heidi and Paul were so welcoming and there were lovely little touches to make guests feel at home: for example, fresh water provided every day and clean towels made readily available. Breakfast was exceptional, cooked fresh every day with plenty of choice.

After arriving a day late due to a flight cancellation, Heidi and Paul warmly welcomed us to their beautiful accommodations. To help us get settled in, they assisted us with ordering a take out dinner and opened the breakfast room so we could eat our meal in comfort, rather than balancing it on our laps in our room. The breakfast selections are varied and delicious. Thank you to Heidi and Paul for giving us an excellent first impression of England
