Very friendly and professional team. Gorgeous quaint traditional style building with cool style complimentary decor. Perfect location if attending Badminton Horse Trials. Lovely walks on your doorstep. Great pub and restaurant outside of your door. Free parking on site. Lovely breakfast included.

I wouldn’t complain about anything. It was a great stay. Some things they could do to further improve the experience would be to offer a sleep mask (they have great black out curtains but there’s a wide gap at top of bathroom door that lets light into the bedroom especially the early morning summer sun - we used a towel to block it out). I also removed the battery from the ticking clock above the door as it was too loud to sleep with at night (the decor doesn’t need the clock tbh so I’d just remove it if I was the manager).

A wonderful little haven of a pub offering tremendous food & accommodation. The staff could not be more friendly & helpful. We were celebrating our 40th Wedding Anniversary (We stayed there on our honeymoon 40 years ago) & the manager gave us a delicious complimentary bottle of wine in celebration. A nice touch. The breakfast was delicious with a good selection of dishes. A slight niggle was that we had to pay extra for breakfast coffee, most hotels do not charge extra for coffee at breakfast. The staff were friendly throughout offering an excellent standard of freindly service. Highly recommended for a romantic short break.

A 1553 pub - so atmospheric. Room was large and very quiet and comfortable. There’s a real, English countryside walk very nearby - walk across the bridge and up the hill then follow the little walking man signs - climb over fence stiles, drop in to an old church, pat a horse, walk alongside a brook, visit a memorial tree, explore an old mill and listen out gunshots from a nearby hunt! Follow up with a couple of pints - fantastic!

Dinner options were limited as it was end of very busy Christmas week and they’d run out of some things but still good.Dogs allowed inside pub and they were pretty wet dog smelly!

We had some glorious weather when we stayed and the whole countryside was wonderful. The accomodation was good together with the food, wines and beers. The young staff along with Alicia were excellent and could not be more welcoming.

Unfortunately I didn't have breakfast there because I was at castle combe race circuit, but the meals I had on the Friday and Saturday night was absolutely amazing, the manager and the staff were excellent , nothing was to much trouble, and my room was really comfortable and had everything in it that I needed

The only two things I didn't like was trying to pull the plug out after having a bath, and also there was a wardrobe in my room which could have a light fitted in so you could see what you was looking for in your suitcase, instead of bringing it out and putting on the bed

We, a family of four, including parents, stayed at White Hart Hotel-Ford and we had a wonderful time there. We loved the atmosphere. The staff were very friendly, kind and helpful. We took a walk from the Hotel to Castle Comb which we enjoyed a lot. Had lunch, dinner and next day breakfast from the Hotel. Food was great!!! The hot chocolate was lovely. If you are planning to explore Cotswolds while enjoying great hospitality, we highly recommend White Hart! We are thankful to the amazing White Hart Team including the Manager for making our stay memorable!

Room was really cosy and nicely decorated, breakfast was amazing and the staff were really friendly - I worked outside the day after my stay and they were really accommodating. We also had Sunday dinner which was incredible! Lots of nice places to see in the surrounding area - we only had time to go to Castle Combe but definitely want to come back and explore more.

If I was being picky, I'd say the shower doesn't drain well and noise does travel through the walls due to it being an older building. We were also there on a hot evening with no aircon. However these are only small things, and we're already looking to go back for another stay.

It is in a fantastic location, the accommodation part is in a separate section to the pub so you can’t hear the pub noise from your room which is great. The room was beautiful and had everything you could need including a coffee machine and a tv mounted to the wall and there were 3 car parks so it was easy to park there.

The room was quite cold even in July and the floor above us was very thin so we could hear the people above us walking around and going to the toilet extra very loud which did wake us up. But that can be expected from an old beautiful property.

We had a fantastic stay at the White Hart. The place was really nice and rustic. The location was a 5-minute drive from Castle Combe so it was perfect. The staff were really courteous, professional and helpful. We had a late check in so they stayed on call to give us directions and we had a smooth check in. The room was clean and cosy. It was bigger than we expected. The breakfast at the place was also quite scrumptious. Overall, we were satisfied with our stay and quite enjoyed the peaceful getaway we hoped it would be! I would highly recommend this place.

The only issue was that we were on the ground floor and the floor above kept creaking through the night as there were people in the room upstairs.

Very good room with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Facilities adequate with drinks, toiletries, plenty of towels, hairdryer and iron and ironing board. Liked the decor and colour scheme to the room with nice lighting to provide some ambiance. It was great to have a good bar and restaurant although it was a little quiet on a Sunday evening.

The bar and restaurant were cold with log fires not lit. We were told it got too hot, yet other people sitting in the restaurant had their coats on! A kind young man behind the bar offered to light the fire in the restaurant for us which was much appreciated. Struggled with connection to the internet saying I was already logged on. Eventually it worked. Cheap loo roll and felt the bathroom could have been cleaner, ie taps and shower head not polished. Lovely roasted vegetables and gravy with the Sunday Roast dinner, but wasn’t impressed with the meat.
