Beautiful hotel set in the most idyllic setting with a small river running by. Plenty of outdoor space. Room was spotlessly clean, warm , a good size (stayed in the Deluxe Double) and the bed was very comfortable with a decent powerful shower. Had a meal in the evening and the food was amazing, lovely quality food and plentiful (the starters portion sizes were probably a little on the generous side, struggled to finish our mains) it very tasty nonetheless. Whilst the cooked breakfast was lovely it was served on cold plates and a little on the luke warm side. Many thanks to the guy that checked us in, he was very attentive and even carried our luggage to our room whilst telling us a little history at the same time. We had a thoroughly lovely two night stay and would definitely like to return some time soon.

They didn’t particularly like you paying cash for anything (even for drinks in the bar) and all things had to be paid for separately rather than at the end of the stay, but a minor thing considering everything else was perfect.

Lovely location, very pituresque. Parking quite easy. Menu quite varied. good selection of beers and spitits.

Room could have been a bit cleaner, bathroom floor needed a good mop and limescale in the sink could be easily rectified. Toilet seat needs replacing, and although clean, was quite old and chipped. Bed a little hard for our liking and the duvet would be adequate on an artic night... way too heavy for this time of year. Coffee machine was a mystery, could'nt get to grips with it, despite serveral attempts, either too week or too strong, but maybe thats me !... otherwise quite nice.

Such a beautiful property, all the charm you hope from a costwolds inn and they’ve really nailed a blend between that authentic charm with a few trendy touches that make the rooms feel up to date. Staff was great - had a lovely last night at the bar chatting the night away with our bartender - when we left the next morning the checkout gave us complementary cappuccinos for the road. We stayed for 2 nights as a base to visit Castle Comb and Bath and it was perfect.

It was great! I hope they keep (even up!) the old fashioned charm when they are slated they mentioned to do lot of renovations this year due to the old roof.

Comfortable and well equipped room with comfy bed, quilt and pillows. We had two evening meals and two breakfasts. All the food was cooked to perfection and delicious. Staff are friendly and attentive without being overbearing. The bar and dining area have a lovely cosey and relaxed atmosphere.

There was no toast! It said toast on the breakfast menu for the veggie breakfast but it was actually fried bread. I was very much looking forward to toasted white bloomer so was disappointed that toast was not available. My husband was very happy to have fried bread with his breakfast. Perhaps you could offer fried bread or toast?

Very friendly and professional team. Gorgeous quaint traditional style building with cool style complimentary decor. Perfect location if attending Badminton Horse Trials. Lovely walks on your doorstep. Great pub and restaurant outside of your door. Free parking on site. Lovely breakfast included.

I wouldn’t complain about anything. It was a great stay. Some things they could do to further improve the experience would be to offer a sleep mask (they have great black out curtains but there’s a wide gap at top of bathroom door that lets light into the bedroom especially the early morning summer sun - we used a towel to block it out). I also removed the battery from the ticking clock above the door as it was too loud to sleep with at night (the decor doesn’t need the clock tbh so I’d just remove it if I was the manager).

Staff were great. Especially Nicki and Stewart. The food was very tasty, well presented and good price. Continental breakfast was restricted. No berries or plain yoghurt. Full english breakfast was also brilliant. Lovely garden to sit in. good bar selection.

Needed berries and plain yoghurt at breakfast. Bathroom was not great, especially the shower. Kicked in in the corner. Needed an overhaul. Pillows were very uncomfortable indeed.

A wonderful little haven of a pub offering tremendous food & accommodation. The staff could not be more friendly & helpful. We were celebrating our 40th Wedding Anniversary (We stayed there on our honeymoon 40 years ago) & the manager gave us a delicious complimentary bottle of wine in celebration. A nice touch. The breakfast was delicious with a good selection of dishes. A slight niggle was that we had to pay extra for breakfast coffee, most hotels do not charge extra for coffee at breakfast. The staff were friendly throughout offering an excellent standard of freindly service. Highly recommended for a romantic short break.

Beautiful location, traditional old fashioned pub with log burner and loads of charm - picture postcard worthy. I'm sure it's equally lovely in the spring or summer - will definitely be going back then. Good value for money and the staff were warm and friendly and the food was delicious too. Thank you for a good experience.

Met expectations - it's not a hotel and doesn't pretend to be. It has everything you need for a base to explore what the beautiful Cotswolds has to offer.

A 1553 pub - so atmospheric. Room was large and very quiet and comfortable. There’s a real, English countryside walk very nearby - walk across the bridge and up the hill then follow the little walking man signs - climb over fence stiles, drop in to an old church, pat a horse, walk alongside a brook, visit a memorial tree, explore an old mill and listen out gunshots from a nearby hunt! Follow up with a couple of pints - fantastic!

Dinner options were limited as it was end of very busy Christmas week and they’d run out of some things but still good.Dogs allowed inside pub and they were pretty wet dog smelly!

We, a family of four, including parents, stayed at White Hart Hotel-Ford and we had a wonderful time there. We loved the atmosphere. The staff were very friendly, kind and helpful. We took a walk from the Hotel to Castle Comb which we enjoyed a lot. Had lunch, dinner and next day breakfast from the Hotel. Food was great!!! The hot chocolate was lovely. If you are planning to explore Cotswolds while enjoying great hospitality, we highly recommend White Hart! We are thankful to the amazing White Hart Team including the Manager for making our stay memorable!
