Great breakfast, excellent brasserie restaurant, excellent cycling facility, fantastic swimming pool. Great sitting room/games room facility available to chillout after meals and enjoy either a glass of wine, coffee, herbal tea or hot chocolate.

Both, the dining restaurant and food, of hotel's main restaurant, were more a michelin than a star, ie. not to our taste in any respect. Preferred the brasserie for our dining, where the food is excellent, staff very friendly and restaurant light and bright. Hotel's main restaurant is perfectly elegant as a breakfast room, just not suited for the evening dining.

The room was spacious and well-decorated. We has all the amenities we needed (robes, slippers, working TV, hair dryer, etc.). The hotel has plenty of activities, so take advantage! We did archery, horseback riding, went to the spa, at at the on-site restaurant, and played tennis (with rackets and balls they provided). It felt like such a genuine country-side experience and was simultaneously relaxing and activity-filled. Staff was wonderful and kind. We would absolutely return.

Our only "complaint" if you can even call it that is that if you come by train (as we did), getting back into the town will cost you 20 pounds (even if it's just to the pub 5 minutes away) because taxis are so few and far between. The hotel was amazing in ordering us taxis as needed, but if you don't have a car, your only choice for dinner is the on site Brasserie or the more pricy Michelin star restaurant (or paying 40 pounds round trip). The Brasserie is actually incredible though, so we had no qualms about eating here for two dinners and two lunches.

we were disappointed at the 1 hyel jones Michelin star restaurant , we did not want the taster menu so were told to choose 3 dishes (starter ,main and dessert ) from that menu there was no alternative menu offered , this was not acceptable we should have had more choices on an al a carte menu , at other top end restaurants we are always given 4 dishes a starter, fish course , main and desert , the whole experience at this restaurant was very underwhelming

Our visit to Lucknam Park Hotel excited our expectations from the very beginning. We were welcomed by Silviu, who offered us an upgrade to a more spacious and elegant room. The room was very well equipped. The espresso machine and homemade shortbreads were a lovely addition. The entire estate is well-maintained, and the main house is gorgeous. The SPA is excellent and has been rated multiple times as one of the best SPA in the UK. It has multiple facilities, it's spacious, bright, modern and very clean. The swimming pool is long and perfect for a proper swim in the morning. The outside hot pool (my favourite) has a very relaxing view of beautiful gardens. The entire staff is very polite and always helpful. Thank you, Lucknam Park Hotel :) And a very special thank you to Silviu.

Beautiful English country house hotel - with lovely English country gardens. Staff were a particular strong point. We had a group with numerous dietary requirements which were all met and delivered without any fuss. Service in the Michelin rated dining room was first class at dinner. Very pleasant areas at spa, both inside and outside, to relax in whether or not having treatments. Overall an excellent hotel experience.

Well apart from the fire alarm briefly going off at 0655 on Sunday morning, nothing springs to mind

We appreciated immensely the taste and comfort of the interior and the immaculate maintenance of the beautiful landscaping. The vastness of the property for wonderful walks and the outdoor facilities for all ages, in appropriate weather and not least the welcoming friendliness to the dogs.

Everything was very good indeed except the Brasserie restaurant was not up to the standard of the Hotel. The food was acceptable but the staff was not particularly well-trained nor attentive. The facial massage was not comparable to the one I received in Versailles, France.

It was a perfect country side estate. I loved the historic value the property carried, the service was really good and the staff was amazing. It is a very green property with lots of horses, deers which I absolutely loved. The spa facilities were great and I did get a chance to go for Horse Riding, which was one of the best experiences I have ever had.

Since I went in summer, it would have been nicer if they had better arrangements for the hot weather. I did have a small fan in my room but that wasn't enough. Also I stayed at the property for 3 nights, it would have been great if they had more restaurants option.

Excellent rooms, fantastic food, lovely swimming pools and spa and awesome Michelin starred dinner! Set in secure, spacious grounds and with friendly and very attentive staff. Superb.

The obvious point to make is that its very expensive but I felt the quality justified the hefty prices. It would really, really help if the rooms and dining rooms at least had air conditioning. We were there during the heatwave but even so it would surely be useful many days a year apart from these exceptional days.

Gorgeous gardens and landscaping, friendly staff and beautiful main rooms. We stayed in a cottage and it was very well appointed and equipped. Very nice indeed.

One tiny complaint: wired-in coat hangers! They are awful - from a practical perspective, you can't hang clothes anywhere but in the wardrobe - you can't take a creased shirt to steam in the bathroom, for example. From a personal one, it makes guests feel as if the hotel doesn't trust them not to steal! It was particularly incongruous when the cottage was so well-equipped and full of items more likely to be taken. This is a very small thing, but a pet peeve of at least two of our party.
