The staff were extremely friendly and informative! The room was clean, and for the price you pay, it was exceptional. Came here for a one night getaway in the middle of April, and liked it so much that we decided to come back in May!

Welcoming staff, well-prepared room, very good food, especially the great breakfast. Out of the way location meant room was quiet despite proximity to M25 and A3.

The room was very nice and it had everything we needed, the breakfast was lovely with a great choice.

The bed was bit hard for us, but that’s just a personal preference. Could have done with another towel as one bath towel between two people isn’t enough. Breakfast was lovely but a tad expensive. We took our dog with us and he was welcomed and it’s great that the hotel is dog friendly such a shame that some dog owners do not clean up after their dogs it would be a great shame if the hotel stops being dog friendly due to the lack of responsibility of some dog owners!

The setting of the hotel, in its own grounds with trees and lawns made it feel calm but only moments away from busy roads. The stand out feature was the breakfast. The choice and the quality of the different components was excellent including honeycomb and great sourdough. Having a fridge, safe and good drink making facilities in the room was great also a window that opened and let fresh air into the room. The air con wasn't needed most of the time despite in being July. Having access to a well kitted out gym was a bonus and finally free and plentiful car parking really made the stay great value.

The room was always very well cleaned and fresh towels put out but the bin didn't always get emptied or the bottles of water replaced.

We were made very welcome by the reception staff and had a quiet room as requested. The bed was rather hard for our liking. Breakfast, both and English, was excellent and the staff were very friendly.

The ground floor room at garden level was "stuffy" when we returned in the afternoon even though we had left the window open as far as it would go. Being a ground floor room we appreciate the window cannot open further. The layout for the kettle/tea/coffee making is VERY inconvenient, even dangerous, with very sharp overhanging corner at head level. Poor design. We gave an 8 rather than 10 because of this and we thought the dinner menu was rather limited.

We particularly enjoyed our breakfast, which offered such a variety of choice and had good quality ingredients. We were delighted to be able to eat this outside on the terrace, where our dog could be with us. The weather was ideal and the service excellent.

We were somewhat taken aback at having to pay £40 for one night for our dog, who as always, slept in her own bed and made no mess or noise. This would have been the same for five nights. It didn't seem fair. At that rate, one night would have cost us £8, which would have been reasonable. Even if the window had been reduced to a block charge of 2 nights, making the minimum charge £16, this would have been easier to stomach. Also we were expecting a bath in our room, although we could not fault the shower.

The standards here were so good . Im quite picky & couldn’t fault it. spotlessly clean. The room was tastefully decorated , had everything I needed . the bed ( especially the pillows) was super comfy. Every member of staff I encountered was so helpful & courteous. The room service dinner was delivered very quickly and delicious. the breakfast was outstanding with lovely touches like the honeycomb and the ancient grains bread. They’re were perfect areas just off the restaurant for meetings and working. I felt very welcome & looked after.

The staff and the room and restaurant were A* Great location Dog friendly Would highly recommend to others. Lovely calm atmosphere. Quiet despite being full Excellent parking

Tennis court area looked neglected but perhaps there are future plans for them that we're not aware of. Similarly main grounds inaccessible but I believe that might be because of A3 works & h&s out of Hiltons control Shame gym is not included in room - but seems to be leased to an outside contractor

We took her dog and the room was catered for us perfectly with a dog bed and bowls laid out, we were on a GF patio so could easily exit the room for the dog walks etc, the staff were very freindly to us and our dog. we were pretty much aloowed everywhere except the main restaurant but there was a separate section plus the bar area where we could sit and eat & drink with the dog.

No complaints, breakfast was self service if im being picky would have been nice to get tea/coffee served at the table.
