The restaurant is nicely decorated and has views out to the garden. The menu is not extensive but with the addition of a pizza menu (recommended) there is plenty of variety and the food is very tasty (Sunday lunch was also available). Lots of choice at breakfast (French toast recommended), Pleasant and helpful young staff throughout the hotel (although the restaurant is short staffed). Nice outside & communal areas.

We were given the wrong room. We paid for a deluxe twin room and got a standard double. When we queried this we were told that we were in a twin room and that the bed could be split if required. At checkout we mentioned the room again and were told that we had been mistakenly put in a standard double and the difference in price was refunded. We would have enjoyed our stay more if we were in a larger room as we were there for four nights. The hotel appeared to be full of wedding reception guests Thursday and Friday nights so I don't think we could be moved. This is a period hotel with 'character' so expect creaky floorboards and to 'mind your head', some of the furnishings are tired.

The breakfast went above and beyond. It was served in the glass room and so the atmosphere was also lovely. The staff was quite attentive and met all our needs even though it was a continental buffet.

I know the point of the inn is that it has long rooted character and history behind the location. The renovations were tasteful but we stayed in one of the older rooms and so the layout of the bathroom was a bit squished and there was not great lighting near the sink. The mattress was not the most comfortable and was on the soft side for our taste.

We had a 2 night stay here and we had a lovely time. The room was clean the bed was very comfortable the bathroom had lovely hot shower we couldn't have asked for much more. The staff were all very friendly. It's in a very pretty location not far from Woking or Guildford. We would visit again.

The only things that let it down slightly was breakfast was a little slow at refilling and we waited quite a while for a pot of tea we asked 2 different members of staff for it before it arrived. The other thing was outside our door to our room one of the mornings we thought a couple of guests were having a row but it became very clear that it was 2 members of staff having a loud disagreement which we found was very unprofessional.

Beautiful place, very quaint and old English building at the front with a bar, restaurant and beautiful garden area. Then at the back a more modern accommodation block. Ample off road parking too, the room was lovely with tea and coffee facilities and the bathroom and shower were great. The staff were so helpful and friendly. We really enjoyed our stay and would defo come back again. Ripley is a lovely little village it has a bakery and shop and a few cafes with a lovely park. You really felt like you were out in the middle of the countryside even though you are just 10mins from the M25.

The only little thing was the door to the bathroom squeaked and could do with some wd40. As we were in a twin it was difficult to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night without waking up the other person.

Its' close to RHS Wisley Gardens only 1.6 miles away as this was our reason to stay. Plenty of off street parking. Clean rooms with iron and ironing board, hairdryer, TV and coffee/tea making facilities. All the staff were pleasant and accommodating. We ate in the restaurant and the food was very good including the breakfast the following day.

I cannot think of anything to write here as I would have to be someone who nit picks but to compare the hotel with others we've stayed at recently there's nothing to complain about.

Breakfast was great, could have served lattes not just filtered coffee but good produce! Happy helpful staff. The room was immaculate and a nice size. Would have liked to be in the main hotel but wasn’t what we paid for. Everywhere smelt good, really clean and generally wonderful. Really pretty outside seating areas to have a drink, parking facilities. Ironing board, iron ect.

The room was incredibly hot, we turned the radiator off but it was still on and far too hot. We slept with the window and fan on and was still very warm. Not expected to be this hot at the end of March. Would love to return but wouldn’t come in summer unless there is air con installed.

Check in was fine, Room and hotel were very clean and tidy, Staff and the restaurant were very nice and food was great.

When we arrived we asked for a slightly earlier breakfast as we had to leave. The staff in the morning were not as helpful as in the evening and even tho we arrives a little under 15 mins before, we were made to feel very unwanted in the Breakfast area and more of a hindrance. Still managed to get continental but, we had asked and they had said the night before it wouldn't be a problem. No warm food until exactly 8 but we had to leave by then.

Excellent location for visit to RHS Wisley. Enjoyed the garden and watching the village cricket match on the pitch opposite the hotel. Very comfortable bed and cool room despite tropical heat!

No muesli for breakfast, just a lot of sweet packet cereals. Would have liked a fruit and nut muesli. Also Would have liked some interesting bread for toast, preferably granary, rather than the rather bland sliced bread. Cooked breakfast was very good

Very spacious room with traditional styling which felt quite classy and cosy. The room was warm, the beds were very comfy. Bathroom had a large bath with a decent shower and a set of good quality towels on heated rails. Despite being on the road, the double layers of glazing made the room very quiet. The staff were exceptionally nice and helpful!

I had booked a deluxe twin room which the booking.com site listed as having an extra-large double bed but we had two single beds, so I would recommend making it more clear on the site that this might not always be available as this is quite common in other hotels. Other than that all I could suggest is that the room could do with an extra plug socket or two.

In the room, a very comfortable bed with lots of electrical points. Excellent evening meal and. breakfast in the restaurant. Very friendly staff. Plenty of onsite parking.

In room surfaces were a bit dusty, shower cubicle starting to look a bit tired and hair dryer feeble, I made the mistake of not bringing my own. Paid extra for a garden room, don't bother not worth the extra money for a window looking at a strip of grass.
