Paula was such an attentive host. Breakfast was delicious and full of different options, catering for all the ways you wish to start your day. Fresh fruit was delivered to room every day along with sachets of various teas and coffees, biscuits, chocolate and KitKats. The bed was super comfortable and the room tastefully decorated. Our room was on the third floor and had lovely vistas out to sea and across the town. On our last day we were allowed to leave our bags there until we travelled too which was really helpful. Location was great if you’re trying to travel from town-to-town as the bus stop is a very short walk away. Highly recommended!

Lovely property, our room was very comfortable. We stayed in the Tennyson room at the front of the property with an ensuite bathroom. It was very quiet and we slept well. We were able to park our car at the front of the property. Excellent location with a short walk into town where there are a good selection of restaurants and shops. Paula was a wonderful host and nothing was too much. Paula cooked delicious breakfasts with a good choice. We stayed here on a friend’s recommendation and we will certainly be recommending it to friends and family.

Everything was perfect for us.

This b and b is high end to say the least. The owner is fantastic and offers a beautiful, comfy and elegant place to stay where the usual top class offering are a level above. Great breaksfast with option of berries, granola, salmon or Full English. Truffle chocolate in your room with a fruit bowl, a luxurious bedroom and residence access 24-7 with your own key .......and drive space..... and is car and motorcycle friendly. They smashed it! If I'm in the Isle of Wight again...like Arnie....I'll be back! 🌠😎🌠

Twas All good 👍

Very comfortable, clean and lovely welcome from the host Paula. Tea trays on arrival and fruit and chocolate in the room as well as a hospitality tray. There's attention to detail across the presentation of the rooms in linens and toiletries. Breakfast is freshly cooked to order and healthy options in addition to a lovely full English. Between the two of in 3 days we went through the choices and everything was cooked beautifully. Location is good to walk in to West Cowes too where we found good places to eat in the evening.

Wind and rain!

Paula was so helpful with our stay, whenever I sent a message she was so quick to respond and very helpful. When we arrived both her home and our rooms were beautiful - everything and more was there for us in the rooms and breakfast was exceptional - lots of choice. If ever we visit the IOW again this would be our number 1 choice of where to stay - parking was available on the property and it was so close to walk into town Thanks so much Paula

there was nothing that we didnt like, everything and more was perfect!

Paula the host was simply amazing. On arrival she carried all our luggage up to our room at the top of the house- Tennyson Room, eventhough we protested!! The room was cosy and beautifully furnished. But the extra things in the room was very special- a bowl of grapes, chocolates, Kit Kats! as well as tea and coffee etc. just over and above. The breakfasts were gorgeous- fresh orange juice, selection of cereals including gorgeous grenola and Greek yogurt with honey and nuts. Then an amazing choice of cooked breakfasts including pancakes with pancetta and maple syrup, scrambled eggs with salmon, to name just a couple. Just gorgeous. Felt thoroughly spoilt. Nothing was too much trouble. Such a lovely host.

Nothing!

Excellent location, delicious breakfast and attentive host.

We arrived late which I had explained to the host beforehand, but when we arrived in the dark we couldn’t find the house as dark and she was getting ready for bed! I felt that she could have contacted me as she did have my details and I couldn’t reach her on her telephone to advise. However once we were in she was very apologetic and couldn’t have been more helpful during our stay.

Beautifully decorated twin room , lovely views from the Juliet balcony, luxury toiletries and thoughtful extra touches . It was close to Cowes town centre, with a steep climb back up from the town . We arrived tired and weary, the first thing Paula did was to get a fresh pot of tea with cakes. Breakfast was in the conservatory looking out on to the terrace garden , lots of choices of fresh fruit, cereals and a variety of hot items , very enjoyable. One fifty was a much needed oasis at the end of our 5 day walk around the Island! Can’t wait to return, thank you so much, Paula .

Paula...professional, welcoming, accommodating (she gave us a VERY early check in so we could get ready for a lunch party). We were given a tray of tea (nice white china) as soon as we arrived. We were able to park right outside 150. It was only a short walk into the town centre. Our room was lovely and sunny with a pretty good view over the town and a distant sighting of the Solent, with a vase of beautiful white roses You had to climb 2 quite steep flights of stairs to get there, but it was worth it for the light and open feel at the top of the house, especially as the room had French windows (Juliet balcony). Furnished with style and an extremely comfortable, large bed. Great touches (a bit of fruit, chocolates, a tea tray). The shower room was small, cleverly squeezed into the available space with a rack on the back of the door to provide a bit more shelf space. The walk in rainfall shower was excellent and of course liquid soap and moisturiser were provided. I had specifically asked for a room at the back of the house, because it is situated on a 'B' road and we are country dwellers. But when we walked back after supper in town, there were hardly any cars about. Paula showed us the room at the front, on the same floor. It was bigger and really gorgeous. If we return, we will ask for that! Paula very kindly dropped us off at our party (thank you). Breakfast was delicious with a good choice of cooked dishes, served in the light conservatory looking out at the lovely flowers in the garden. All in all I would recommend 150 without hesitation, and we would rebook if the occasion arises to return to the IOW.

The breakfast was amazing, good quality ingredients, freshly cooked and had fruit, fruit juice and cereals too. Had twin room which has view of harbour and is quiet. Good location to explore from and walking distance from town centre. Lovely touch to have fresh fruit and treats in our room daily.

Unfortunately the twin beds were not as comfortable as we would have hoped, my sister could feel the springs. Off road parking is only for 2 cars so is on a 1st come basis.
