The hotel is in a very central location. The room was comfortable and clean with plenty of towels and the TV worked well. Breakfast was delicious and there was a good selection of cereals, yoghurts etc to choose from as well as Full English. The Isle of Wight have their own parking app called Pay by Phone which is hopelessly glitchy (download it and add your card details before you go to save any stress) and the owner, Hendrick organized our parking via his own phone. He has had to do this for hundreds of guests. At the time of our stay we could then park all day, all over the island for just £7.50 including directly outside the hotel's front door.

Can't think of anything to complain about at all

Wonderful, friendly and helpful hosts and staff, welcoming, lovely to our baby and very thoughtful of help we might need with the little one and accommodating e.g. when baby took a very long time to finish her porridge we never felt rushed. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious and cooked precisely as we requested - filled us all up till dinner! Excellent central location but also within a stone's throw of a lovely, leafy river path to the harbour/park for a peaceful run/walk. Interesting old building, nicely furnished room with ample space and seating, very helpful and detailed parking instructions for the town centre location (visitor pass info- much better than the rate on the parking meter!), lovely linen, great little fridge in the room, everything very clean. We also liked that the owners were always available when you needed them but never overbearing and guests have freedom to come and go with their own front door key. We had a wonderful stay and look forward to returning in the future - thank you! :)

Difficult to think of anything but I could say the bed was a little softer than I like. My husband and baby were happy but a bit firmer would have been perfect for me.

A lovely place. I got to the Isle Of Wight a bit early for check in, However I went to the Newport Quay B&B just hoping to leave my case there while I went and had a wonder before I checked in at 3pm. I was met by the lovely Ethel and Hendrik who let me check in early. Hendrick then showed me to my room and then showed me where the fridge was and where the glasses were. This is a nice touch as I do like my drinks cold in the evening they also had an ice machine as well. Breakfast was great a lot of choice too, Ethel is a brilliant hostess and very helpful and keen to make sure that you are ok. The Newport Quays B&B is in a great location in the centre of Newport but on a quiet street. You are not too far for food or the bus station. I wanted somewhere central on the Isle Of Wight this was just right for me, a comfy room and great hosts. It made my stay on the island very easy and most enjoyable. I hope to return soon.

There is nothing bad to say. Hendrik and Ethel were great. The B&B is clean and well kept.

Owner very helpful with rearranging booking for an extra day. - Arranged essential local parking permit. - Provided extra storage for large number of items. - Provided copy printing on request. In short, nothing was too difficult to assist. Family-run hotel that ensured a level of service usually unavailable from larger hotels.

The en-suite bathroom in our downstairs room was on a lower level, with stairs down. However these were well lit and one got used to them quite quickly.

Everything, really. Very helpful host on arrival, rooms decorated well, shower fine, breakfast good, nice staff at breakfast, nice lounge. Other nice touches: free books, free ice and use of fridge for outdoor drinks.

Need to change the vegetarian sausages. Cauldron or Richmond are nice. Apart from that I can't think of anything else negative to say really. Would use again if visiting Newport. Good location close to town centre and bus station.

Lovely place, convenient location, food excellent, owners and staff friendly and helpful. Stayed in a single room which was well set out, I personally found the shower a bit small, but can't see that it could have been made bigger. No complaints really. Would stay again.

As mentioned in the likes only the shower, but no great problem.

Excellent location in Newport town centre close to the shops and a 5 min walk from the island's central bus station (the IoW bus service is amongst the best in UK). On a quiet road. Excellent breakfast and excellent hosts. All you really need for a stay on the island.

Nothing comes to mind

Good location. Ease of parking, although a fee payable to IoW Council. Building very historically interesting. Accommodating staff, breakfast room comfortable, large lounge for guest use. Reasonable choice on breakfast menu. Clean room, comfortable bed, tea/coffee tray.

The owners have not been there long enough to update and modernise the many areas of this historic building that really need it. I would hope to see changes if I were to return in 12 months. The en-suite in the single room is very compact, so only the toilet and shower fit in, hence the hand basin is outside it, in the bedroom.

Everything - the people who run the place are super friendly. It's clean, secure and the breakfast was lovely - all at very reasonable price. The place is less than 10 min walk from Newport bus station, which is the main station on the island. Highly recommend this place not only due to connectivity reasons, but overall, I felt it as very homely. There is also a fridge for guests to store their drinks (we stayed 7 nights - no one touched our drinks), with all types of glasses to use from. Nice patio to have a sit down in the evening. The bed was lovely and comfy too. They also provided with a table fan. There are also a selection of books to read while your stay, which they offer to take home if you loved it but weren't able to finish it.

Nothing 😁

The hosts were amazing. The english breakfast was great and offered vegetarian options as well. Location is so central to High street and makes it more convenient on access to lot of restaurants. The fan in the room made is even better for our sleep.

Nothing in specific.
