Property was easy to find and perfect location to visit Osbourne House. Original building from Queen Victoria era. Lovely thick walls high ceilings and traditional fire place in room. Lovely friendly staff and excellent cooked breakfast every morning, nothing too much trouble.

The two rooms we had were on front of building which is literally right by the main road. Can be busy at peak times and the main route from coming off the Southampton/E.Cowes ferry . Quieter later on in evening ready for us to sleep though.

A clean, quiet, nicely decorated room with no rattles or leaks! Good breakfast with plenty of fruit juice and cheerful staff. Ultra convenient for Osborne House (conversely, if you're stuck with a wet day at the seaside there is an obvious attraction across the road!). The walk to Cowes is possibly longer than ideal, but after that breakfast probably needed ... or you could get the bus to Ryde from the other side of the road.

What is the opposite to 'damning with faint praise'? The timer on the light to get up stairs only gave us seconds to climb two flights.... I think that really is the only complaint.

Staff was very friendly and welcoming. The room was cozy and nice, with a vintage vibe. The bed was very comfortable. Everything was functional, and there were no leaks or dripping in the bathroom. The location is nice, across the street from Osborne House. Breakfast was tasty, with decent portions.

A bit noisy when there's traffic on the road and the window is opened. No shops near by, only a petrol station. However, there are nice restaurants at 15-20 min walk.

Opposite Osbourne House. Very old building ,but clean, friendly ,food good breakfast .It was free parking and easy driving around Isle of Wight.Staff very friendly and helpful.Twin room ,plenty of room for bed and breakfast.Didnt go back in the day .

Nothing really, you get what you pay for and a bit more.

Great location directly opposite Osborne House and only five minutes from the ferry. The staff were lovely and nothing was too much trouble for them and the breakfasts were excellent. Lovely outdoor area too especially given the beautiful weather when it was nice to sit outside with a drink in the evening.

Slightly strange bar opening hours, but it didn't detract from our enjoyment.

Room was excellent. Breakfast hot and massive, and the breakfast chef was happy to cook what we wanted. Parking excellent and a bus stop right out side the front door, if you didn’t want to travel by car. Staff friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay there again

had a issue with fire alarms that went off 4 times on one the nights so no one slept should really got some are money back for that incident

The staff were so friendly and accommodating. I had contacted the pub before we came to ask if we could use a room to change into our wedding outfits as we would be there early. Both our rooms were ready for us. Thank you Jo!

There was nothing I really didn't like.

The room was immaculate with comfortable beds, and excellent facilities. The on-suite bathroom was clean and spacious with a really good shower. All the staff were really friendly and helpful and breakfast was delicious and set us up for the day ahead.
