Staff very welcoming. In the breakfast room the waitresses were so polite and helpful with a kids breakfast too. Also the swimming pool staff was helpful.

Our room was lacking complimentary slippers bathrobe. Had neck pain because the pillows was way to soft ended up sleeping on my arm. Either than got what we paid for. There was a group people coming into the hotel stealing in the shop and staff was too busy on the computer that they didn’t notice. My kids wanted a drink and it was a bit pricey, but you’ve got other people coming in taking everything off the shelf.

The lounge, bar and restaurant look very nice. Our room and beds were fine, bit dated but clean. Bathroom was very clean. The swimming pool is good size and the water was nice temperature. Breakfast and dinner were great and plenty. All the staff we met during our stay were amazing, not only with us adults but with our children too. I would mention Mihaela, Caitlin and Ashley who were extremely kind and very helpful.

We didn't like the fact that we could not open the window. We do understand the hotel's policy though. Unluckily the air-conditioner did not work properly, so we have not had fresh air and got really warm in the room. It made our stay uncomfortable.

Facilities, food and restaurant staff excellent

We arrived on the Friday we had breakfast on the Saturday morning and were out of our room by 09:30. We returned at 16:00 to our room , towels had been replaced but no bed made our cups and glasses still dirty on the tray and no clean to the bathroom. I had antibacterial wipes so cleaned all around myself and made the bed, my husband went to reception to ask for clean cups and glasses and to restock our tea and coffee. We have been staying at this hotel for past 20+ years and first time this has happened. I also did email before to say this was a special birthday visit for my husband to which it was noted and confirmed but nothing and not even cleaned the room . Such a shame.

Great location, very clean, rooms were a great size with lovely facilities, the staff and the service received made it though, they were amazing. Reception staff were amazing and so helpful, the bar staff were great and very helpful. There was a singer the evening we stayed, she was great and defiantly added to our night to make it more special and rememberable. I had asked if there was anything the staff could do to make our room special as our stay was for a special occasion and they really did, couldn’t have asked for more!

The only thing that could have made it better was a couple of bottles of water in the room and also if the air-con could be colder. The room got hot through the night and the window only opened a little.

The front of house staff couldn't be more helpful and professional, they went above and beyond to help us all out nothing was to much trouble at any time day or night. The breakfast buffet was everything you needed. The bathroom was nice and spacious with a great shower to boot.

The swimming pool and hot tub areas need some attention, there are patches of tiles missing in the pool up at the far end opposite the changing rooms, and the filtration system needs looking at imo coming from a plumbing and pool maintenance back ground I'm not just saying this without some sort of knowledge in this back ground and the ventilation system in the pool area needs an upgrade the taste of chlorine in the air and condensation on everything is a bit overwhelming.

everything about the hotel was lovely! only thing I can fault was the pool area which felt quite dirty and unkept and the lift service was very busy constantly so we had to use the stairs which was fine but not ideal with luggage. rooms were lovely, clean, fresh and comfortable. restaurant was nice but service can definitely be improved, after finishing our meal it was near on 45 minutes until we were seen too again. which only happened from making a comment to my partner about not being checked on which was overheard by staff. but they were friendly and orders were bought out in good time. I would stay again as it is in a good location and a nice comfortable hotel.

Great welcome from Bally; all other staff encountered were also friendly and helpful; beautiful decor; spacious, comfortable room; easy access location; good food and drink options.

Unfortunately, my room had food strewn across the floor, however this was cleaned promptly after reporting to Reception; I realised did not have a robe or slippers in my room upon seeing else in them when visiting the pool - not a complaint, just then became apparent that the room had not been given full attention when prepping. Lastly, I begrudge paying for the parking a little as the hotel has its own private lot, the charge seemed unnecessary.

The hotel was very fresh and nice and the rooms were nicely decorated

Firstly, the heating was completely bad. The motion detector turned everything off as soon as he doesn't. Didn't see any movement that is even when you're sleeping so you wake up freezing in the middle of the night. Furthermore, the heating didn't go farther than 24° and we were freezing most of the time, even though we had an extra heater put in. Secondly, I would say that you could update the menu in the restaurant because it was kind of boring, and since there are not so many restaurants around there. I think you need to have a better menu in a better quality food.

Good sized clean room

Staff at breakfast were very rude on our first visit made us very upset. My advice is for them to be patient and LISTEN to the customer. We had 2 rooms booked for a family of 6 and 2 guests joining us at breakfast which we were paying for. For some reasons this became too complicated for the staff to understand! The first thing I was told by the staff was that 6 people were not allowed to stay in one room!!- we had 2 rooms booked and I cannot understand how they came to this conclusion. I assume we were being pre judged? It was an awful experience

There is always someone at the front desk, eager to help and sort things out. My family and I arrived very tired from Boston. Jet lagged and really tired. Thushi went aboveboard and beyond to ensure we were cared for. The breakfast spread is soooo good. Smoked mackerel with a really good spread of of salad, fruits, cereals, juices and then the ever present full English breakfast. The queen sized family rooms are comfortable. Lovely sized bathrooms and really comfortable toilets (lol) The only down side to this hotel is the lifts!!
