Just returned from a 2 night stay at The Rear of the Plough and I have to say I could not fault it, absolutely fabulous, and if I could give a higher score I would. The host, Charlie, was amazing, so friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was first class. It did not feel like a B&B as you had your own private room and en-suite and breakfast was served to you there, such a lovely touch. The food was delicious and such a variety to choose from. Well done Charlie you're doing an amazing job!

There wasn't anything I didn't like.

The accommodation was everything that we needed for our short stay. A very friendly host, nice clean room, and comfortable bed. The continental style breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice and served in our room. The host was able to allow us to check out later than usual at no extra cost, but at some inconvenience to herself. We will look to return one day and explore the area further. Absolutely recommend this property.

Additional signage to the property, or at least a note in the confirmation to explain that it is down the lane to the right of the pub. A very minor inconvenience.

This really is a little gem. Although B&B it’s great that the room is in a block separate from the owner’s cottage. Breakfast was great and so lovely to sit outside! The Plough pub is no more than 100 steps away and does fantastic food - wise to book ahead. Charlie who runs this property is an absolute delight and I’d definitely recommend.

Nothing not to like!

The breakfast was continental, great rolls, choice of meat & cheese, the croissant all very good, the lovely fresh baked rolls we filled with the extra meat and cheese for our lunch. Room very clean and tidy Charlie & Ida made us very welcome. You are right out in the country, great fresh air and clear skies, lovely, picturesque countryside. Charlie was very concerned as we were late due to a road diversion on the A361!!!! (Northampton County Council please note: Diversion signs very misleading) Called us and talked us to through to Everdon, it was very dark when we arrived, but her smile was worth the trouble NCC caused.

Difficult to answer we have stayed a few B&B's, but this is an exceptional B&B offering very good attention and detail.

Very warm welcome from Charlie & Ida. Well equipped room. Good choice of healthy breakfast options (this included raspberries from Charlie's allotment and home made jam) Beautiful quite rural location yet short drive to A5 and M1. Excellent pub, The Plough offers fine dining food at sensible prices whilst still being a village pub. Ideal stopover for a couple of nights on a journey north or south on the M1. We will return!

Very friendly and welcoming host. Comfortable bed and the breakfast which we were able to eat outside was delicious. On site parking. Great dog friendly foodie pub within a minutes walk away. Located in a gorgeous village. Would definitely stay again.

It would have been nice to have had a biscuit included with the complimentary tea and coffee.

The owner was very helpful with pre-arrival correspondence to navigate all my needs. The room and parking was just as described and perfect. The beds were very comfy and the facilities and provisions thoughtfully provided. The breakfast was just right with extras volunteered and gratefully received. I would highly recommend.

Not a lot.

Everything was as described on web-site. For us, location was excellent, accommodation was good value for money. Charlie, the owner, couldn't have been more helpful. Breakfast was enormous (in part, because we over-ordered the night before - sorry Charlie!); it suited us completely.

We had absolutely no problems.

Charlie couldn’t have been more helpful, breakfast was delicious and kept us going all day. The room was spotless, comfortable and peaceful - the location was terrific and the outside space a real bonus. Meeting Charlie and the gorgeous Ida was a real treat - a brief but very memorable stay. Wouldn’t hesitate to give The Rear of The Plough the highest recommendation. Thank you, Charlie!

Nothing - can’t improve on perfection.

Lovely converted barn, immaculate inside, comfy bed, peaceful, and the lovely lady who runs it was really helpful and pleasant. The breakfast was nice, basically a continental breakfast.

Minor things, TV was hard to manage, maybe just dim but channel selection seemed beyond me. Would have liked a bath, and cooked breakfast,
