My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay, it was fantastic, the restaurant was great and the staff were amazing. We had a junior Suite and it was faultless, it certainly exceeded our expectations. Breakfast was good, however when I asked a member of staff if I could have my coffee a bit stronger, the senior staff member intervened and quite rudely said it is filter coffee and cant be made stronger, I then asked if I could have a decaf coffee which they reluctantly made for me, the same senior staff member was rude to several guests 'maybe she was having a bad day'. However the stay really was amazing, with the exception of the above the staff were really kind and helpful, and we will definitely be staying again. I would recommend BW Mount Pleasant to anyone who wants to relax and recharge their batteries, it's a great break.

other than the issue at breakfast there was nothing to fault, it was excellent..

The quality of this hotel is exceptional, the staff are first class and the surrounding countryside adds to having a restful stay in a location that is worth the extra monies paid to stay there. The rooms are clean, tidy and have a wealth of things to make the stay most enjoyable experience. This is without a doubt one of the best hotels that I have had the pleasure to stay in.

I could find no fault with the property, any issues that occurred during my stay were quickly sorted by the highly trained and efficient staff wanting to look after the customers needs and make sure the stay was the best.

Beautiful hotel, friendly staff who were extremely helpful. The meals were very good with good service.

We had a standard room which was a little tired and despite the weather quite cold. The bathroom was modern and beautiful but unfortunately the drain in the shower was blocked and there wasn’t an extractor fan. Water covered the whole of the bathroom floor! Despite reporting the problem the issue was unresolved by the time we arrived back for a shower in the evening. Reception couldn’t have been more helpful however, they were very apologetic and moved us to a junior suite next door which was really lovely.

Liked the location and the setting. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom on initially looked impressive.

On closer inspection, the room decor and carpet were tired, and the bathroom was not as impressive as we initially thought. There was a leak from the shower and brown water leaking down the side of the shower. We were in room 174. We had stayed at the Ye Olde Hotel the night before for less money, and even though the Superior room was impressive, it was not as big. However, the breakfast was in a different league, as was dinner. Mount pleasant breakfast is kept warm on hotplates, and it's not warm enough, whereas YeOlde, it's freshly made. The Dinner at Ye Olde is just superb the dinner at Mount Pleasant is like eating in a nice Pub.

We stayed here the night before our daughter's wedding along with approximately 40+ other people. Many returned for a second nights stay after the wedding. We cannot fault the hotel or excellent staff in anyway. From the booking process onwards they were so helpful and accomodating. Everyone said the same thing. We all had a meal the night before and the food was both excellent and good value. They were very good at meeting dietary needs. Superb breakfast included in our room rate. The rooms were huge and glorious! Just a huge thank you all round.

The hotel has gone that bit further with the luxurious finishes across the spectrum of comfort. The bar for instance; the bar stools are high backed and provide extra support and eye catching. The G&T ordered came with ice, lemon slice and pomegranate seeds and two black straws and stirrer. The walls are covered in quality pictures/prints/mirrors that show thought has been provided. The outside gardens are very well stocked and maintained. Price of the stay undercut other rivals and was worth every penny.

Plenty of parking,quick check in,nothing too much trouble for staff. Very large room and bathroom,spotlessly clean throughout with tea and coffee making facilities and complimentary bottles of water. Booked for an evening meal which was lovely,plenty of choice,great staff and excellent value for money. The breakfast is self serve with an endless choice of food, perfect to start the day. The hotel is a lot bigger inside than expected with plenty of places to sit and relax and some individual quirky rooms to chill out in and have a chat and a drink. we would highly recommend this hotel and shall definitely visit again.

The rooms were huge and the decor tasteful! The bathroom was fantastic and also massive. The receptionist was lovely upon our arrival and because we were staying 2 nights, gave me the choice of having my room cleaned in the morning or a free drink voucher, 1 guess which one I chose 😂. The food was fantastic from dinner through to the breakfast. The whole experience was brilliant, I can’t recommend Mount Pleasant enough.

Lovely country location , nice grounds , breakfast was OK however, nothing special

Although there was an electrical charging point it was occupied . With the increase in electric vehicles multiple charging points should be installed as a minimum. Fortunately I managed to charge my vehicle at the suppliers factory I visited and therefore did not need to use the facilities . However, this was by chance only and i really would have needed to charge overnight if this had not been the case.

The positives for the hotel were: Air of quality, well furnished, comfortable, large bedroom, large well-appointed bathroom, excellent breakfast (one of the best), polite and helpful staff. Some rowdy customers were dealt with by the staff in a professional manner, which was good to see.

The negatives were: Conflict with the protective software on my business mobile (not experienced this before elswhere) so could not access Wifi; Sofa placed in room at 90 dgrees to TV (TV in right poistion for bed but not ideal position to watch when out of bed - had to move furniture). Had to get up and move from 1 bar attached to restauarnt to other bar during evening - not ideal.
