The hotel was everything you expect from an IHG hotel, clean, room was good, comfy bed etc special mention to Brad who initially checked us In and then was there if we needed anything same to his colleague who I unfortunately did not get her name but they are assets the hotel. continental breakfast was good, both my daughter and my partner enjoyed it and said it had good options

Breakfast was a bit sparse, only hot food was bacon, sausages, beans and scrambled eggs so unfortunately if you're wanting a full cooked breakfast then you won't get one.

Clean well run hotel

The ceiling was flooding are room we had to be moved the staff were good but all are clothes got wet they could have washed then we were informed when we were leaving and told us we had to go to booking .com to make a complaint we received £94 compensation after a 1 hour 40 min wait on the phone didn’t cover cost of dry cleaning and we had to carry on the rest of are week wearing are previously used but dry clothes very disappointed with the outcome but that’s how it goes

What a lovely welcome at Reception. Everything you need in a hotel room. The shampoo and shower gels were in pump containers on the wall, easy to use. Tons better than those where you need to be one of the world's strongest men to squeeze it. Breakfast was very nice. A good selection. And the latte was delicious, not too strong. The bar prices weren't bad either. Would definitely stay there again, and would recommend it.

The bed was rather hard for me. And I didn't get on well with either of the pillow options. But I slept well. Could do with a mirror light shining on your face. Difficult to put makeup on.

The staff straight away were welcoming and very good and made us feel comfortable. Our room was quiet as we had asked and spotlessly clean and everything, everything worked, that doesn't happen every day! Breakfast room was clean and warm and service from staff was excellent too.

We definitely found the pillows too hard but reception did change them for us which was great. The staff were always available and friendly. rare for a chain hotel. Also they were busy the next day with a large group of railway enthusiasts staying but it made no difference the service was exceptional even when very busy.

Friendly, well run hotel with comfortable rooms and everything working. Excellent breakfast for gluten allergy - we were told a member of the manager’s family has allergies so she ‘gets it.’ Staff and guests were relaxed about two under fives playing in the lounge area - borrowing cushions to build a fort etc. Bed was comfortable and clean, shower had good pressure etc. Short drive to leisure, restaurant and retail facilities of the Lakeside outlet mall and Dome (ice skating / swimming).

Slightly noisy building ventilation. Location is in a retail and business park - need a car to get around as there’s nothing really in walking distance.

The hotel is very nice and clean, the rooms are lovely, they put a cot in our room for our son, the buffet breakfast was delicious with lots of variety of hot and cold food and drinks which is included in the price of your stay, there is a pub and a shop across the road, its only a short drive away from Yorkshire wildlife park which is the reason we chose it as we were taking our son the next day, comfy beds so guaranteed a great night's sleep, we would definitely stay again 🙂

My wife and I have stayed here many times Pre COVID This was our first stay since. The young man on the afternoon reception was very friendly and welcoming,he's a credit to your company, unfortunately we didn't get his name but it was Sunday 14th May We checked in at 2pm

Breakfast staff next day could have been more welcoming,it doesn't cost anything to say good morning with a smile to your visitors,so maybe you could mention that to your staff Maybe they don't like Mondays lol

The room was excellent with lots of features as standard such as ironing board hairdryer etc. The breakfast was okay in quality but could have been better. I like that it’s pet friendly but the policy of paying extra should be an option on the on line booking. It’s good that dogs aren’t allowed in the dining area however the only option is to eat at low tables if you bring your pet.

As above paying extra for a dog is acceptable but should be an added feature on the on line booking. Also should be a couple of dining tables given to pet owners separate from dining area

Location great, staff wonderful, very welcoming, friendly and helpful, breakfast choice was great. Very impressed that they have designated van parking with CCTV cameras which is reassuring when travelling for work, the cameras also cover the whole car park. The room has everything you need, extra tea/coffee/ hot chocolate available at reception if needed. Beds comfy and you have a choice of pillows. (Firm or soft) Will definitely go back next time we have a stay over in Doncaster and can highly recommend

Breakfast exceeded expectations as it was good quality, cooked well and very fresh even though it was buffet style. Attractive dining room, lounge and reception areas and helpful polite staff. Clean room and bathroom with everything we needed for a dog friendly overnight stop. Perfect stop to break long drive down from Lake District back home to London.

The room felt a bit stuffy when we arrived and needed an airing.
