I have stayed at this Wetherspoons 3-4 times now and I have never been let down. It took a little while to get our room at the reception as the bar was very busy at the time we had arrived. Good sized room comfortable beds and a good shower is what you need after a night out at a Soul weekender that we had attended. Good choice of teas and coffees in the room and free bottles of water. Yes we will come and stay here again. You cannot fault this Hotel.

The entry cards packed in Sunday morning for some reason, not sure why. Our friends also had the same issue. Quickly resolved though. Thanks

A central location in Doncaster, right by the excellent market, and surrounded by dozens of restaurants serving cusine from all over the world. The rooms are very efficently air conditioned, which was welcome due to the external temperature being 25C. Being a Weatherspoons, the drinks in the bar were reasonably priced with bottles of Pinot Grigio from £10, and with double Courvoisier brandy and double Jameson whiskey being about £10.

There was nothing we did not like, and it was even possible to park my car on the streets close to the hotel for free between 18:00 and 08:00, which fitted in very well with my working hours.

Staff were helpful and friendly in particular Danielle, room (family room) was massive.. bigger than rooms I’ve paid for abroad. Quiet, plenty of sockets, tv, large windows, mirrors, good shower room, comfortable bed.

Had to get the key card changed a few times because I couldn’t enter the room twice and couldn’t get through the entrance to landing once. I didn’t realise at the time of booking there was no parking, but was advised by the hotel there was parking 3 minutes away. The parking doesn’t allow 24hours so I had to pay twice £5.60 each 15 hours, this meant waking up at 8am disturbing my rest to run round to pay again.

Parking is nearby. Council website says if you have Disabled Badge, parking in Disabled Bays outside hotel is FREE ALL DAY. Big bonus when everyone, and all signs, say 30mins only! Room clean tidy but basic, excellent en-suite. Another +, breakfast is, as in all Spoons, till 12 Noon. Pleasant staff, lively place. Historic building, look for the informative plaques on the walls. Lovely outdoor area at the back. Value for money ref drinks and food. Location is in Market Square, wonderful indoor market and shopping complexes.

We thankfully were on the 1st Floor, anything above that is a steep climb. Remember though this is an old building taken over and renovated, but no lift. Wetherspoons is experimenting with its Burrito Salad Bowl! Please go back to the original. Pub opposite, had a `boom boom` blasting out in the evening, but I think stopped about 11pm. Apologies, would have liked to add more photos, but just found out that Google does not support all photo `types`!

When we arrived it was quite busy in the pub and the 'Reception' was at one end of the bar. We basically got ignored for quite a bit until someone acknowledged us and said they'd be with us in a minute. We were on the top floor but looking out over the square and above what i believe to be the main door which was extremely loud even after 11pm. The room was well kept, clean and there were extra pillows in off to the side. Biscuits and tea making facilities were provided and i liked how they had packets of oat milk. The bathroom was very spacious and it was a rain pour down shower which was lovely in the morning. I also liked that you needed your key card to get through the main door outside and further doors leading to your room which made you feel very safe.

I didn't like how we were ignored when we arrived like you would be if you were stood at the bar which is why i love the order at your table facility. We tried to order a drink to our room when we got in but noone answered the phone which was a shame. For the price i would've expected to have breakfast included.

The room was very nice and clean and the bathroom was great! Lovely shower! The hotel was easy to find and the staff were helpful. And you could get breakfast easily and for a good price downstairs in the Wetherspoons.

I stayed on a Saturday night and so it was quite noisy at points - the music from a nearby pub was pretty loud, but I didn't mind this actually. And the accommodation is right above a busy pub, so I knew what to expect before I arrived, and it didn't bother me in the slightest. I liked the fact that the hotel was in a central location and easy to get to from the train station.

Nice sized room, booked a family even though two of us for the extra space. Clean, warm, well presented, great staff on arrival, happy to help even though as a weather spoons it was extremely business. Front facing room into the market place showing the hustle and bustle of people but still very quiet and provided a comfortable stay. Central to pretty much everything you could want for the town centre.

Only one issue, we stayed until the Friday which must have been glass bin emptying day. Woke us up at about 7/7:30am but that is the only negative thing and out of control of the hotel, a positive spin is breakfast is served from 7am so we were awake for that.

Great location, the room was a good size and very comfortable. We were allowed to leave our cases until time of checkin. Great value for money definitely stay again. Room was at the back so had no issue with the noise.

No fridge, more of an issue during the summer months. We had breakfast downstairs but it wasn't very hot. 3 minute walk to 24 hr car park, I know this is not the Red Lions fault but the alleyway and road leading to the NCP car park was absolutely disgusting the owners / council should be ashamed, it was very off putting.

The room was very spacious with good amenities hairdryer, iron, tea making facilities etc. Bathroom was amazing and to say its above a busy pub we didn't notice any noise. Amazing room, amazing staff, all very friendly. Would 100% stay again

Duvet could of been better. Was thin and didn't fit the cover properly. Light from the hallway shone very brightly under the door so we had to plug it with our stuff, could do with a draught excluder to hide the light. Other than that couldn't fault it at all.

Check in lovely and welcoming ,Excellent rooms, clean, tea/coffee , hairdryer, for the price on a race weekend second to non. Big outside area ..Staff were lovely nothing too much trouble Central location for bars restaurants, shopping etc

Breakfast could have been better could tell the food had been 'stood' under a warmer too long, fried egg cold and hard as was the bacon sausage was wrinkly not just been cooked, egg shell in egg muffin, to be fair when told staff they replaced the egg muffin for my friend but as for the cooked breakfast if just didn't get eaten, bread too big and thick for the amount of food on it 2 sausage for lost between the slices of bread.
