The location of the property it is on very nice grounds and the spa was nice.

The room smelt of foist/damp. We had no TV remote and i asked 3 different members of staff for one. The maid cleaned our room well made it smell more damp and took our room key which turned the electric off we were drying our swim suits and charging phones, i then had to go and get another room key which seemed to make our first key not work still only meaning we had 1, we ran out of toilet roll as there was only half a roll left for the 4 of us, i then had to go to the reception again and ask for some. Still never got the TV remote. These are all small things and did not spoil our stay but these small details could be better.

The food cos we had a dog with we ate in the bar area which was fine But no table was laid even tho they knew we would be eating there orders 3 steaks and wasn’t expecting what we got definitely not worth the money the service was awful from the start to end of meal no steak knifes not enough room on the table for 4 people to eat ( wasn’t given the correct menu that we paid for had to ask 3 times for the correct one

The staff and the food were outstanding. The pool and facilities were brilliant as always. Love they have went back to using the revitalise amenities in the rooms. So much nicer than the lime.

The meal size was small and the pet charge of £15 per pet, per night I feel is a bit steep when we need to bring everything for them including their own bed etc £15 pet charge for the whole stay seems much better like other hotels. I don't see how they need to charge per pet per night. 😕 It put us off staying two nights which would have been another £60 on top of what we had spent already.

The setting was outstanding. The wedding breakfast food was great. Great facilities. Fab time. A wonderful place for family celebrations.

There was a mix-up with our booking for the 19th. There was no room for us, especially as the hotel was fully booked. It was sorted thankfully within the hour. Meanwhile, the queue waiting to check in had grown. I felt there wete too few staff on. Equally the breakfast of the 20th there were too few staff on to cater for the busyness. We waited ages to be served and had to wait for fruits, juice etc to be refilled. Tables were left uncleared. We have owned a restaurant and always told staff to walk back empty handed but to pick something up. I did feel too few staff were on and the staff having to cover many bases. By comparison the private breakfast the next day was well supplied and needs attended to immediately.

The grounds and location of the hotel were perfect for an anniversary stay, staff were every friendly and the room was very nice. The breakfast in the morning was lovely and staff in the restaurant were very helpful and accommodating.

The shower gel and shampoo could have been replaced as this was empty. Unfortunately, I did not realise until I was in the shower that they were empty. The beds that were put together were not put together very well as there was space in the middle causing you to roll into the space created by not being joined correctly.

Was disappointed asked for a kingsize bed ,only to find it was 2 single beds put together ,and they kept separating because one of the bars was broken hence they kept coming apart which was extremely annoying and uncomfortable .Having booked a table for breakfast at 9am we had to stand in a queue and wernt seated till 9.10am, Also disappointed with dinner as it had no fillet steak on menu

The room was very comfortable & spacious. We really appreciated the Happy Birthday wishes & cakes left in the room. A very nice surprise on my Birthday! A very clean hotel & the staff were all very friendly and helpful.

The food was lovely & all home cooked apart from the onion rings which was surprising & a bit disappointing as we ordered a portion of them expecting home cooked ones. Overall not a big deal though just a wee idea to add to the lovely menu already.

Enjoyed the whole experience this included the wonderful breakfast.

Booking.com they didn't inform the hotel of our booking, consequently the hotel had no information on our arrival. Because of this we were kept waiting but the hotel upgraded our room. Something they didn't need to do but this was a lovely surprise and very welcome, made us feel special.

All round good experience, would consider staying here again

Younger staff need more training, limited interpersonal skills especially bar staff .,, ignoring waiting customers, not even eye contact or any acknowledgment of a human being standing in front of them for 5 minutes! Not just us , observed over two nights. A real shame because when they spoke they were very personable … just need some training please !!

Lack of guidance and support to the young staff in the resteraunt. They were working so hard but had no effective management. They faced a number of complaints due to long wait times for drinks and were left to deal with issues on their own. Second time I've visited and boty teams have experienced the young staff being left unsupported by management
