Five minutes walk from Waverley Station and St James Quarter shopping Centre. Quiet spacious 2 bedroom suite overlooking Calton Hill and historic graveyard with views to Arthur’s Seat. Spotlessly clean.

Nothing at all

very close to train station but thankfully quiet w double windows. perfect for family of 5 . creepy graveyard surround rooms. we were not bothered but other people might be so it probably sb disclosed that view from rooms are of graveyard. walk to castle and palace about 20 minute walk. location close to mall but crowded. spacious and we didn’t hear neighbors so sleep was good unless hot

no coffee maker and coffee downstairs was 24/7 but we went twice at 6:30 to be told to come back at 7. no ac apartment get s humid and hot at night. staff comes in even though sign is on door saying to stay out . buses are constantly idle below room making smelling exhaust and loud so windows have to be shut during the day which makes room warm.

Great stay at Princes Street Suites. Friendly and approachable staff. The small cafe at the entrance is charming and we appreciated the options for light food and drinks. The location is perfect in my opinion. Close enough to get to attractions, but far enough away to distance yourself from the crowds. Rooftop terrace offers fantastic views. Easy walk to Calton Hill and the Hop on Hop off bus is right outside the door!

I assume the need for AC is not a norm, but considering the building has been updated it would have been nice to have. The temperatures were abnormally high and it made the accommodations somewhat uncomfortable considering the price to stay there.

This hotel was great. There is a little restaurant by reception to get coffee and drinks. It looks like they are trying to. b build up their snack selection. The views from the roof deck were outstanding. We were impressed by that. The apartments we had (we had two for our family) were spacious and well-appointed. You could cook meals there if you wanted. The location was good. The only drawback was being right behind a busy bus stop.

The rooms were not cool given no AC but I know we were there at a hotter time. Also, the countertops in the bathroom are rotting given that they are wood.

The apartment was spacious and tastefully decorated. Location was perfect walking distance to central Edinburgh. The roof top terrace was a bonus with panoramic views. Staff were welcoming and accommodating.

Could do with a few more mugs, glasses etc. though we asked for more and they were provided which we appreciated.

Staff were wonderful. Received several emails before arriving with various options of transport from the airport, very clear and precise instructions, as first time visitors to the northern hemisphere it just made everything so much easier. Thank you. Wonderful location, although no restaurant there is a room service option. The housekeeping were wonderful making up the bed and tidying each day. Would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone. The roof terrace was great, though a bit windy at time. The apartment was spacious. We would definitely return..

There wasn't anything not to like.

Location fabulous. Suites were spacious. Roof terrace had terrific views. Reception staff really nice and helpful. Housekeeping staff really kind and helpful.

Furnishings and decor more than a bit tired. We expected better for this price. A few examples of chipped paint and stains. Views out the windows were just of stone walls right nearby. Strong cooking smells coming through the open windows - smelled like cat food - ??? Not quiet - strong continuous generator-type sound, plus loud announcements from Waverley station. Frayed carpet on level -1 near the lift.

The hotel is conveniently located near to the centre. The apartment seemed bigger and more spacious than expected. Views were great. Layout of rooms was great. I was definitely impressed with it and pleased with the choice. The staff helped with an issue I had, as my daughter did not want to share a room, I asked for extra bedding to sleep on the sofa. They were friendly and helpful to find a solution, and quick to bring the extra bedding I needed. Tea, coffee, and proper milk was provided, along with the nicest biscuits :) Deposit was refunded the same day! Very helpful. Overall I would return and stay here, I would also recommend for families to stay here too.

The only reason I haven’t given 5 stars, is that the housekeepers came and made the beds, replenished the towels, but didn’t Hoover crumbs off the floor that the baby had made. Also they didn’t replenish the tea and coffee, so we went to reception and asked for more. No problem.

There was a kitchen with tea and milk, kettle, large downstairs sitting room for the ground floor 1bdm with 2 bathrooms, lift & rooftop viewing area, washing machine. Clean facilities. Friendly staff. Good location to tram for airport return. They accommodated us by changing our room to one 1 bdm with washing machine. Nice lounge area with bar in lobby. Good value.

The 2 bdm we booked for 2 couples only had 1 Bath. We did not know to request 2 bed, 2 bath. All rooms are different so book directly & request washing machine with room or number baths, etc.

Wonderful apartment with an excellent view. Highly convenient location, close to the train and many attractions, shopping, and dining locations. Despite all of the action nearby, it was quiet at night which ensured a good nights sleep. The two bedroom apartment had plenty of space for me, my wife, and our 17 year old. Highly recommended for travelers with kids. The kitchen was a nice benefit, though we did not use it very often. Our apartment did not have a washing machine, perhaps one of the few. The bathroom was spacious as hotel bathrooms go and the water was plenty hot for showers. Towels were soft.

The full bed is smaller than our Queen bed at home and took some getting used to for my wife and me (though that's likely a common experience for US travelers to Europe). The facility had a sign in the lobby noting that the entire facility was undergoing renovations and in some ways, our room will certainly benefit from these upgrades. For example, the bedroom carpets were in dire need of replacing (thin and covered with spills and stains). Some spots on the walls around the windows had the plaster/drywall cracking and broken. One bedroom door had a hinge broken, though this did not impact the ability to close the door.
