The property was excellent once we found it. It was centrally located, in walking distance to all attractions. It was above a shopping centre complex so we had secure parking for the 4 days we were there and the reception validates your parking ticket when you leave. It also provided a guest laundry, and a light complementary breakfast if you require it. .

If the direction stated the the property was above the shopping centre with access through the secure care park at St James Quarter we wouldn't have been driving around in peak hour traffic for 40 minutes.

Location was brilliant,just round the corner from the train station and right next to the shopping centre.Room was lovely and modern and clean and had microwave and dishwasher and hairdryer and iron.I also liked the fact that the window opened as most places they don’t now.

Everything was great.

This hotel was one of the best I have ever stayed at, and I travel a good deal both for the business and pleasure. The location is excellent above a modern shopping mall in Saint James Square and close to the heart of the old city where the Royal Mile connects Holyrood Palace to a Edinburgh Castle. it was perfect for my family because it included a double bed and a sofa bed that opened where my daughter could sleep. It was well equipped with a modern bathroom and kitchen. They have thought of everything and it was spacious and comfortable and the staff were extremely helpful!

The only suggestion I would make is to improve the breakfast offerings which only included croissants, apples and beverages

Staff were very friendly, room was spacious, clean & well equipped, lovely to have a small kitchen area, really liked the grab & go pastries & fruit in the morning which we would have in our room. We really liked the location, it felt very central to get anywhere in Edinburgh, the Fringe was on so extremely busy everywhere & we were so glad that we chose this hotel in this area as opposed to maybe some of the main tourist parts of the city.

Possibly the room could have been a little cooler, we did try to adjust the control panel but it didn’t make a great difference.

Loved the croissants and danish pastries which we can help ourselves to in the morning, so this Grab & Go breakfast is really a very nice touch. Small brown paper bags were provided for us to take to our room, though we could have used the crockery in our studio to hold the pastries and save on the paper bag. Coffee and tea were available all day at the reception machine. The lounge area is very classy and tastefully furnished. Being brand new and we checked in 2 days after their soft opening on 19 May, everything was spotlessly clean and the kitchen amenities were high class. Staff at reception very friendly and pleasant to deal with. Loved that it is on top of a shopping mall. We could even wheel our luggages to Waverley train station to collect our rental car. This place is also walkable to Old Town so you have the best of both worlds - Old and New Town. There is a very good ramen shop just opposite the side street entrance of the hotel. Another good plus point is that there is a Catholic Church which is in the same location. Two days after we checked out, realised that I have left behind my spectacles. Called and emailed them and they responded very quickly to say that they had kept it in their safe for me which I collected upon our return to Edinburgh from the Highlands. This speaks volumes on the integrity and service of their staff.

Brand new hotel apartments - modern, super clean, cozy and very well equipped. The room was spacious. The kitchenette was perfect. Top location and fantastic views from the terrace but also from the terraces of the building the apartments are situated in - a modern mall, with shops and restaurants. The coffee/breakfast corner was excellent. The possibility to buy food and drinks at the reception at any time of the day was great.

There is nothing we didn't like. Everything was perfect and way better than expected.

Clean, modern, slick, great kitchen with all that was needed. Situated on the top of shopping centre in the middle of Edinburgh so convenient to all attractions.

Very hard to find initially as we had never been to Edinburgh before. Just needed more info about where it was, even being told it was inside of the shopping centre would have been helpful. Signage is not noticeable when driving past as it is flat on the side of the building, we had to park down the road and then go to find it, very annoying but some info would have helped.

Everything was perfect. We can’t fault anything with this hotel, the kitchen was fully equipped. Complimentary breakfast was great. great location. Most of all the staff were great, very friendly and so helpful with everything.

The room needed a brush and shovel to clean up small spills. The staff agreed with me and noted my recommendation in the computer.

Everything. The location is great within distance of the old center, princess street, railway station, bus station. I really enjoyed the cleanliness, the attention to details, the staff who were really nice, everything is new and the place is really nice and stylish..
