We arrived early as we had a wedding to go to and we wanted to get key so that we could relax and enjoy the wedding without worrying about check in. The staff were all super friendly and got us checked in at lightening speed as we only had 30 minutes to change and get to the wedding. The bed was comfy and the room was clean and fresh. Location was perfect for us and the hotel had plenty of parking. I would stay here again if I was in the area. Thank you for sorting our room so quickly even though we arrived before check-in time it was really appreciated and saved us so much hassle later in the day.

Location is good, just a few mins off the M20, great for travellers and might be a useful stopping point if you are heading to the channel ports. The hotel is a nice building, set back from the road amongst some trees. There's space and outdoor seating around the hotel, plus a small playground. Would be nice for a longer stay. Ample car parking, and they handled a very late check in gracefully. Bonus points for having a useful desk in the room, and USB points on the plugs. Shower was hot and powerful, with a generous selection of toiletries provided.

The bathroom was bit cramped, you almost had to step over the toilet to get to the shower. But I can't think of any better way to lay it out within the space available. The wifi was pitifully slow, less than 1Mb/s which is a pity when they've clearly put in other efforts to make the room useful to work in.

I really liked the location for exploring the area. The staff were very helpful and the food was good. The rooms were clean and comfortable our double superior room had a very big room and bathroom with a large TV tea coffee etc. the twin room was also quite large but adequate the single superior room was quite small but I needed two rooms beside each other to look after my older mum which the management arranged which was very helpful. Lovely outside garden area with great facilities for kids to play and a lovely place to sit in the sun after a day out.

Noisy kitchen extract fan outside the window. They had live music which was very good and we enjoyed it on a Friday night but my elderly mum could not sleep as right above it.

Excellent staff who were at all times most helpful and friendly. The hotel bar and restaurant and gardens were all well laid out, clean and there was a lovely atmosphere. We stayed overnight in the hotel and our room was a good size, again well appointed and exceptionally clean. Breakfast was most enjoyable and plentiful. Our stay was for a family funeral where the wake, the next day, was held. Again the catering was exceptional, the room where It was held was a fair size and again well laid out with doors that led to decking and gardens. We could not have asked for a better afternoon. Thank you!

We arrived mid-afternoon and had hoped to eat early as we had a meeting to go to. Unfortunately for staffing reasons the dinner service was only due to start at 18.00, but the staff all went out of their way to ensure we ordered in good time, and our dinners were on our table as soon as possible after 18.00 so we could eat and leave to get to our meeting. This was fantastic service and we are very grateful. Other than that, the room had bedside tables, dressing table and chairs, wardrobe and the bathroom (with bath!) was well provided (all unlike some of the competitors which tend to be spartan).

There was nothing significant to dislike - the toilet seat was a bit loose but completely usable.

Perfect location for us (school reunion). Staff were very helpful and friendly. They organised an area in the bar for us to gather together. Ample parking. Good amount of space outside and they said that it was being renovated, outside, soon too! Check in was quick, friendly and efficient. Staff are lovely, helpful and friendly. Room was clean, basic but everything we needed for the night. Good value for what we paid for it. We didn’t book breakfast but we did go down and order some later in the morning and it was lovely.

The hotel, upstairs and the rooms were very hot. The towel rail was permanently on in the bathroom with no way of turning it off. We had the window open all night. Not enough milk left but just being picky there. For what we paid £68 for a twin, room only, we were happy!

I enjoyed our stopover at the Conningbrook; it reminded me of childhood visits to England more than 60 years ago: a grand staircase leading to a warren of corridors and rooms, thick fitted carpets, creaking floorboards, quaint plumbing, instructions on the bathroom wall and a slight scent of polish and soap …. Don‘t get me wrong: everything was well maintained, the rooms spotless, the beds comfortable and the shower state-of-the-art, the full English breakfast all you could expect. I‘d definitely come again!

Stopped 4 1 nite. Nothing 2 complain at all. Lovely stuff, everything there, brilliant if you've got a dog. Plenty enough to walk the dog. We enjoyed all the food. Thanx 4 being so honest , cause you looked after my purse which I left somewhere. Thanx to the person who handed it in. Would have been lost, cause everything was in it. If we need a stopover again, we definitely stay here again. P.S Should have crashed the wedding party🤣👍

Everything was fine

Superb Room, quiet and very comfortable. Very agreeable staff, though menu knowledge could be improved. Very accomodating when dealing with a minor complaint. Very good breakfast selection and well presented.

Main menu lacking in variety and many items not available. I was informed that a new menu was due and this accounted for the shortfall. One poor meal which after management was informed was removed from the bill-excellent service

great staff, great location, good safe monitored parking. a nice bar and restaurant to spend leisure time whilst staying there

central heating was extremely hot, on trying to down the radiator trv fell apart so made adjustment impossible. had to sleep with bedroom windows open as room very hot. with windows open room was fine and able to sleep ok. shower controls a little faded marking wise so unable to decipher quickly. small things but I work in hotel building maintenance so maybe im a bit picky. didn’t affect our stay though based on all positives and price
