The location was fantastic. I booked for a wedding and stayed the night before and night of the wedding. It’s a small village with a nice pub down the road. I had a problem with the lock on the door and although the owners were not at the property they were there very soon after I contacted them with the problem and this was sorted straight away. Friends had also booked to stay the night of the wedding and although the room/check in time was much later than needed there was no issue for the staff in having the room ready for the early arrival. I would definitely stay again.

Location was lovely, courtyard area nice too. Check in and out was easy despite us arriving late everything was contactless and straight forward. Room spacious with good, clean facilities, comfy bed and modern bathroom. Welcome note left in the room was really informative and included instructions for windows, blinds and TV which was super helpful.

Room was very hot (outside temp was high 20's) so had to sleep with window open but was woke up every hour by the clock chiming in the village. A fan in the room would solve this. Also, there was a fridge in the room, would have been nice to arrive to some cold bottled water or refreshments as there were no local shops. WiFi wasn't great and no signal which could cause some people a problem.

Lovely large room. Very clean. Good shower. In a very convenient location. Very quiet. So easy to get anywhere from here.

WiFi was very hit and miss. A shelf in the bathroom to put toiletries on would be good. As we were there for 5 nights, it would have been nice to have a towel change half way through.

Super cute Inn very well decorated and the restaurant bar attached served delicious foods and drinks! We were charmed by the whole village and staff who couldn't have been more welcoming.

Only think is the walls of the rooms are quite thin, and we got unlucky there were some wedding guests in the room next door to us whom we repeatedly had to go ask to please keep it down at 2am, 4am etc. It would have been nice to have a breakfast in the morning but I don't think that was an option.

Easy friendly instructions to access room. Plenty of tea and coffee in the room and a fridge. Jolly room as per pictures. Comfy bed. Easy parking on street.

Didn’t realise there were just velux windows- My fault I didn’t spot that. Water pressure not great but managed a shower quite OK.

The room was very spacious, comfortable and clean The bed was very comfortable Everything we needed was provided so we did not need to request items such as an iron etc. It also included a decent sized table top fridge which was especially useful

Breakfast not included Too many stairs, because I have issues with my knees and tendons

Self check in was easy and the room was great. Lovely shower and super comfy bed. Lots of info about check in and suggestions on where to have dinner/brekki as the pub was closed. Fab communication

It was all great. I'd only suggest that it'd be good to have hand-wash in the bathroom. Other than that, everything was wonderful!

The courtyard into which the room faced was lovely, the weather was amazing and I felt like I was in a foreign mediterranean country.

The Church Bells! Aaggh! They rang on the hour every hour, I really did not need to know that it was two in the morning, then three in the morning etc. This would put me off staying again. Sadly no breakfast or evening meal was available at the accommodation. Even a continental style cereals, bread etc would have been great.

Really nice rooms and the staff were friendly and helpful as much as we needed them. Great location for any do's at the yorkshire wedding barn which is only 10 min walk away

Only down point was there was no breakfast and we didn't have a car to get to richmond. Lunch started at 12am which was delicious so not too long to wait for a good meal i suppose.

breakfast not included but evening meal was fantastic and well priced and plenty of essentials like coffee milk etc at the premises. The stable yard rooms is a great place to stay it has plenty of character and everything you need would recommend.
