Although adjoinong pub was closed on Tuesdays, a member of staff came to book us in after we rang the mobile number given. Room was clean and bed very comfy. Bathroom narrow, but very good shower. We had to leave early next day to catch a bus for a hospital appt. However, we were given pastries and tea to take with us. All the staff that we met were very welcoming and friendly.

Unfortunately the pub adjoining the hotel was closed on Mon and Tues. We would have loved to have eaten there, but we knew this when we booked.

Staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast I opted for was included in the price and was a delicious continental breakfast, which I really enjoyed. The room was a good size, and lots of tea, water, milk and toiletries were provided. The hotel was a distance from public transport but it suited me as I like a walk, and I liked the hotel's location, which was leafy and quiet.

These are small points and, overall, I had a good night at the Victoria and would go back. One thing was that I like a softer mattress and the mattress was very firm. Also, being on the ground floor, with frosted glass, meant I didn't have an outlook and the room was a little gloomy.

Convenient location. Enjoyed the continental breakfast on Sunday but no breakfast service on Monday!

My room was on the ground floor and the creaking floorboards from the room above kept me awake! Window lock didn’t work which was a bit of a worry for a single woman in a ground floor room with no overnight staff on the premises.

Lovely friendly pub with delicious food . Comfy bed, lovely location. Great atmosphere on an evening. short walk to trains into London.

Breakfast included was continental. Can order Extra , Eggs Benedict etc but quite expensive to add on.

The location was perfect for visiting Kew Gardens on foot. The Hotel also has a restaurant which is ideal . The staff were very friendly and courteous. The room was clean and well stocked with water and tea/coffee. The bathroom was modern and nicely decorated with a great shower. Very nice overnight stay.

Very welcoming and accommodating staff. The food was delicious! My daughter and I stayed here as a base for the Richmond Park Half Marathon so the location was perfect! Hopefully I will get a chance to visit again.

food and drinks all excellent. Location superb and the staff great. Pub and public areas and garden in particular were superb.

Everything was excellent, though felt the room was a little less polished than the rest of the experience, a little bear and lacking the luxury of the rest of the property. Black pudding was undercooked - only minor food quip.

Welcoming, smart and clean room with tea/coffee all provided. Easy instructions to access the room and good communication with staff to organise check-in. Breakfast (continental included) was very nice and wonderfully presented.

Overall, experience was great and no real faults. Only comment would be the time of breakfast (08:30 onwards) which unfortunately is difficult if staying for business. But besides that, an excellent stay.

Breakfast was very good. The staff were very pleasant. There was a nice relaxed atmosphere.

The ensuite bathroom was poorly designed. Someone larger than my husband and me (we are both reasonably slim) would struggle to use it.

The restaurant had exceptional food, both my wife & I loved our dinner and the continental breakfast set a new standard for that term.

We came on a particularly warm summer period and the room got quite warm and stayed that way.
