Value for money was great, the rooms were as expected given what we paid, buy they were large and very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The location was very quiet but yet great for getting to all the places in shawlands we wanted to. Good to have off-street parking too

Booking.com said check-in was 2pm, when we arrived at 2pm we were told check in wasn't until 2.30pm, and the staff were quite rude and unhelpful despite the fact our booking said 2pm. They didn't even check if the room was ready and we just sat in the car for 30 minutes and waited. Very poor wifi in our room

The bedroom itself was well worth the money - have paid a lot more for worse! Spacious, clean, comfortable and well-equipped, with a really good ensuite (appeared quite newly upgraded) incl. a massive and v. powerful shower. Reception staff were very understanding that I was late as they were aware I was with my partner in hospital some distance away, and stayed open late for me without making the advertised additional charge.

Property did not look inspiring on the outside (looks like it is undergoing refurbishment?) and the area was a bit run down; my heart sank when pulling up and I would not have booked coming off the street, but I was v. pleasantly surprised inside. Worth noting there is no breakfast or other food served on site - but there are plenty of food outlets a short walk away. No lounge area or other communal facilities, but there are picnic benches etc. in the grounds if the weather permits. Could perhaps use a comfortable armchair in the bedroom?

The location and parking were perfect. The gardens are so lovely. The lady on reception was ever so polite and welcoming. I'd describe the building as a large old house. I felt safe and I was at Hampden Park for a concert and the location couldn't have been better! The shower was lovely, I booked superior double and was very pleased. The bed was really comfortable there was just a funny smell in the kettle so I bypasses making a coffee before we went out.

Only issue was the kettle had an odd smell. Everything else was great and I'd stay here again

Easy check in. Yes its a basic room but very spacious and spotlessly clean ( im fussy as an ex B&B owner and i couldn't fault it.) Large tv, plenty of storage space if you need it, free wifi and a relaxing yet powerful shower. Its a bit dated in some areas but a great place to relax after a long drive and get your head down

My one small criticism is the security felt a bit iffy as i couldnt seem to lock my room door securely from the inside but it did have a chain and the key to the front door of the building being the same as my room so wasnt sure if we all had matching keys or if there is some special lock on the dront door that each unique yale key to rooms worked in

Location is a 5 minute walk from both Crosshill and Queen's Park train stations. 3 stops, 8 minutes to Glasgow Central Station, 2.3 pounds round trip. Queen's Park area has pubs, restaurants, stores, etc. Don't miss a day trip to Stirling and Stirling Castle. Download the Scotrail App. It's excellent. The shower was strong with plenty of hot water.

Can't think of anything.

Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Simple rooms with comfortable beds. Very good waterfall shower with excellent pressure. Walking distance to shops/ restaurants and bus stop/ train station. Also very close to the beautiful big park.

For the price, value - there was nothing to complain about!

Finally had enough time to spend a few nights here after a lot of brief overnight stays lately. Such a comfortable place to spend a few days.. a short and easy drive seemingly to basically anywhere in Glasgow, and then a spacious double room with great facilities, perpetual hot water for showers, and a great comfy bed. the staff, reception and housekeeping alike are brilliant, check in was working and swift as always, and the team didn’t hesitate to help with requests and ensure we had everything we needed during our stay. even when the place was busier on the weekend, there weren’t any disturbances or late night noise and got a perfect nights rest, even Friday and Saturday nights. look forward to staying again soon!

Everything was great as always - sadly I perhaps may not be in Glasgow again for a while, but I'd not really consider booking anywhere else when I'm back again! Just like all the other times lately, staff were welcoming, friendly and attentive, room clean and perfectly presented, all the facilities as described, really comfortable beds, pleasant locality both for views from the room (I mean, it's an urban setting, but a nice urban setting to look out onto, with some views of the city horizon beyond from this room, too), and a really nice area to walk around. This time I also realised Crosshill station is just round the corner (5 min walk, if that) which is handy.. although really easy to reach all the road links for M74, M77 etc by car and always seems to be an Uber nearby as well). Thanks for all the great stays lately, see you next time.

Was gladly able to return for another brief visit to Glasgow sooner than planned and, as anticipated, didn't consider staying anywhere else for this visit. I think the myriad reviews I've left already sum everything up, so just to summarise this place has been a perfectly located, quiet, clean, friendly and comfortable place to stay whilst back and forth visiting my partner in Glasgow. It is great to be so easily reached by road, with ample safe courtyard parking always available during my stays. The staff are as friendly as they are professional and maintain great standards in this superb accommodation. Thanks for so many nice stays - I look really forward to being back again in future! Take care, Adam.
