This was our second year at The Grange, we upgraded to a room with a magnificent view of Grange with four poster bed. The bathroom has a two person bath (yes, we tried it!) and all the usual cleanliness we expected. Part of the reason we booked this year was for the evening menu, the food here is amazing and did not disappoint (well done Chef!) The breakfast has a huge range of both hot and cold and is buffet style. The staff were friendly, professional and very good at their jobs. During our week long tour we recommended this place to other travelers.

There was only one thing really, as the view was amazing we left the curtains open so we could wake up to it, unfortunately the outside lights were on all night and flashed so did interrupt sleep a little.

Nice hotel well maintained, and most of the employees do their best to be helpful. The place was clean and nice. Good quality of sleep, a nice swimming pool and comfortable areas for relaxation.

They should put a flask for self serv coffee or tea for breakfast instead of making you wait, will be less waste too, if you want 2 cups you just serve it. Half of my jar has been wasted. The supervisor needs to be standing by the food, so can ask for refills whatever is need to. The shower tiles need a brush with bleach, it's clean, I know, but the pink mod needs the extra mile of effort, It doesn't look 100% good. Consider conditioner, and toothpaste as amenities, it is supposed to be a spa. About dinner don't use the microwave for bread. It's horrible. Absolutely ruin it. There is important information about an employee's attitude I will e-mail to the hotel as it doesn't concern other customers. I will always edit if the answer is unsatisfactory.

The staff were very friendly, helpful and kind. My dietry needs were met. The hospitality was exellent. However, i felt ignored at the bar with my daughter, i understand the bar staff were very busy, but they could have taken our order and brought the drinks over when they were free. Apart from that little hickup, our stay was brilliant.

This is not a crititism but an observation. Staff who had been on all day (the day before) finishing between 2300hrs and 2400hrs. They were back at work at 7am, they worked so hard with a smile on their faces, but a few looked tired. I understand the cost of everything has gone up, but the management must think.of their staff & the hours they work.

Absolutely loved the place - my room was superb - comfortable, super luxurious, and exactly what I needed for a good night's sleep after spending the entire afternoon walking along the promenade and then through the gorgeous little town of Grange-over-Sands. The hotel is ideally situated for a trip to the magnificent Lake District which is where I headed to early the next morning. A beautifully enduring experience that I will long cherish - the hotel is a magnificent base from which to explore the many gorgeous small villages dotted along the Lake District.

Loved everything.

We were upgraded to larger rooms which was unexpected but fully appreciated. Enjoyed the breakfast and had a good evening meal in restaurant with fairly priced bottle of wine. Most of staff were excellent including breakfast people and reception and hotel seems cleaner overall than experienced on our last stay

Totally inappropriate loud music in the bar in evenings. Ordered wine and went back to table but waiter just left glasses on counter and I eventually had to fetch them myself. Understandable if the bar was busy but only 5 tables occupied. Can't get used to waiter sipping cocktails behind bar in sight of residents.... Only used spa once as water in pool and jacuzzi very cold and sauna not working properly. Reported to reception and apparently heating had not been turned on, but was rectified next day (when we were leaving)

meals were excellent especially in the restaurant where the service was exceptional by Jason. The suite was very clean and matched expectations except for view out of windows.

We had booked the accommodation as described "an internal room looking out over an enclosed internal courtyard"we got a view of a brick wall about 2 feet away from the windows there was a continual drone from a fan of some sort and it was 24 hours. The hotel was fully booked due to a Saturday wedding and we decided that the room was for sleeping in and the view was not that important.

The hotel was excellent on all fronts...the staff were friendly and helpful...everyone was very professional, especially with restaurant/breakfast rooms.

The Spa facilities!! We booked this fabulous hotel especially to relax and use the Spa area, although we knew it was a relatively small pool and we were happy with that, the rest is not up to the standards required.. Shower near the sauna was not working...the steam room wasn't working.. The temperature in the sauna wasn't even warm enough to break sweat..and the jacuzzi was luke warm at best..the changing area has seen better days... We used these facilities once only because of how poor it was!! Which spoilt our break as this was one of the main reasons for choosing this hotel.. The Spa facilities are not up to the standards required and are sadly a poor reflection of an otherwise superb hotel..

What a fabulous hotel, very spacious and luxurious. The breakfasts were amazing, so much choice and with everything cooked to perfection. Staff are polite, friendly and attentive. the swimming pool and jacuzzi are well kept and I had a lovely swim. We stayed two nights - wish it was more. We were offered a free upgrade and stayed in the Wedding Suite, which I can highly recommend! Amazing views, luxury room and just so much space! it was more like an apartment than a room. It has a gorgeous balcony with outdoor furniture plus I had room to do my yoga. There is a wonderful four poster bed with a very good quality mattress; a choice of two baths, one a bedroom tub and the other a jacuzzi. Walk in shower too, and jack and Jill basins. We just loved the whole experience. From the hotel it just takes a few minutes to walk into Grange. Free parking space is available near the hotel. We dined in the bar and the restaurant. Both were very good, but the restaurant was absolutely excellent- we had a delicious meal with excellent service. We’ll be back!

The food in the restaurant was good. The breakfast was well organized but was buffet and at times was difficult for the staff to maintain continuity with the various food available. The room was very roomy and quiet.

As with most of the Hospitality Business there is a problem with staff shortages and in particular cleaning staff. The hotel was very busy and I had the impression that unfortunately the cleaning staff, who were very efficient were perhaps at times struggling to maintain a good continuous service.
