There is nothing to dislike about the Seaview, from the warmth of the greeting to the cosy , friendly atmosphere. Food was superb, with an excellent choice for breakfast. Everything in the room was spotless, all was all thought out carefully , beds comfortable, pillows some soft others firmer once again showing care has been thought about the guests stay. The Seavview is definitely worthy of the four Gold stars that it has been awarded by the AA. Thank you Jayne & Mark for making my stay so memorable. I'll see you next year. X

Nothing could be bettered, everything was perfect.

This is a delightful little guest house and very convenient for those arriving on the evening ferry from Hook of Holland. That's probably a shame for Jayne (the proprietor) as that will mostly mean one-night stays and thus daily replacement of bedlinen, towels etc. Everything was clean and tidy, and well-modernised, and with many personal touches which demonstrate the thought which has gone into creating high-quality accommodation. Although on what is at times a busy road, this in no way intruded into a good night's sleep. We were made very welcome, and breakfast was very good. We would have liked to have stayed longer!

One minor feature (as an older traveller) would be a grab rail to hold onto while climbing into and out of the above-bath shower. But at least the bath itself has support rails either side.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Seaview B & B. It is located just outside of Harwich Old Town, which is about a 10-15 minutes walk away or a short drive in a taxi. There is a lovely park opposite the B & B over-looking the beach and sea. The tasteful decor throughout the property is to a high standard, loved the wallpaper on the feature wall in the dining room:) Our en-suite bedroom was clean and comfortable, there was even a little mini-fridge for a small bottle of milk that Jayne gave to us for the tea and coffee. Breakfast - plenty of self serve choice, Cereals, Yogurts, Fruit and Pastries. Hot breakfast freshly cooked to order and was well presented and tasty. Drinks - Tea, Coffee and Juices. Jayne was a welcoming and lovely host, she could not have done more for us. We will definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

Loved our stay so much we could not find fault with anything.

The location was very central yet overlooked a park and the sea. We received a very warm welcome from Jayne who did everything to ensure we were comfortable. Our room was beautifully decorated and the bathroom looked brand new, partly due to high standards of cleanliness throughout and partly because it was almost brand new. The dining room was light, bright and airy and the breakfast excellent, catering for our very fussy diets!!! Would highly recommend this wonderful b & b.

There was absolutely nothing to complain about. Every detail had been carefully thought through.

Jayne was a lovely person, as I was travelling in the evening, she waited up for me to arrive and we sorted all elements out there and then. The room was cosy, warm and had all relevant amenities needed, with a nice chat in the AM over breakfast in the dining room. I was given a key, which allowed me to come and go as I pleaded, there was no curfew and allowed to come and go as I pleased. Sometimes you can stay in a B&B which are either a bit awkward because its someone's home, or a hotel and quite sterile. This was a happy mixture of both. I will need to travel there for work more in the future and this will be my 1st port of call, or even now a little weekend away. This is also a really good alternative if you are looking to stay in Harwich, but it says Dovercourt, its only a 10 minute walk, down 1 road to the historic town.

I can't really say anything wrong. I did turn the sower on the wrong way and got sprayed in the face by the handheld shower head, rather than the main, but that was my fault. I will also add, that the shower was amazing!

The Seaview BB easily exceeded any expectation thay we had. Newly renovated rooms with ANY feature you could think of (every seen flash lights offered in a room if you want to go out at night? Or, charging cable for your phone?) Host is extremely welcoming and offered us a take away breakfast when we told not to have breakfast in the BB. Location with regard to ferry of course ideal. No doubt we would return here.

It would almost be an insult to this accomodation to remark something negative. Well, one, very little thing then: minor traffic noise and noise from passers by on the street next to hotel. If that really disturbs you (we are very sensitive to noises and it did not disturb us)....ear plugs are provided in the room.

We had a large dual aspect room. Nice views. Centrally located. One of the best b&bs we have stayed in. Very clean. The bed was extremely comfortable and we had an electric blanket... which we used. The breakfast was yummy.. choice of cereals, yogurt, juice and full English breakfast. Both Jane and Mark were welcoming hosts. We would definitely stay there again. Loved the off street parking.

Can't think of anything negative to say about our stay.

The owner, Jayne, is lovely and made sure we had a really nice stay in Harwich. From restaurant recommendations and umbrellas to extra milk for tea, nothing was too much trouble. the location between Harwich and Dovercourt is excellent, the en-suite twin room was ideal for our requirements, and breakfast was delicious.

Some additional surfaces / storage space in the room would be useful. e.g. a shelf above the radiator and something in the window alcove to put bags on or unpack into, or even a a couple of collapsible luggage racks/stands.

The hosts were very welcoming. The breakfast was excellent. The bathroom looked brand new and was very well appointed, with toiletries, bathrobes, flip flops etc. The twin beds were comfortable and the bedroom had plenty by way of tea and coffee making facilities. Thoughtful touches included a clothes brush and a shoe horn - that was a first.

Wow. This B&B is the best I have ever been in. So clean. The room was outstanding. It had everything you could need. The decoration of the B&B. Is awesome. I promise that if you manage to get a booking you will be impressed. The owners could not have been more welcoming. The breakfast was great and so much to choose from. Book this B&B even if it costs a few pounds more. 5 stars plus from me
