Check in was easy , good parking and room was well equipped.

My only gripe during the stay was the quality of the actual shower unit . I had travelled all day and just wanted a good red hot shower .Unfortunately the unit in place has one of those water saving shower heads which results in a lot of pressure but hardly any water coming out . I had to run around the cubicle to get wet , such a shame as the rooms are very well equipped . Im not sure how much money this saves but the result was I had to stay in the shower twice as long to feel fully clean, so probably counteracted the idea of saving water ?!

Very quiet. We did hear some chattering from the pub downstairs but still quiet. Rooms were very clean, spacious and had luxurious fixtures eg the automated skylight, the kettle/tray combined, and plenty of tea, coffee, biscuits and bottled water. The chairs were comfy, as was the very large bed. Luxury towels and soaps etc, and shower very nice. I wouldn't have chosen a room above a Wetherspoons because of the noise element, but saw a review on youtube (I think it's Walk with me Tim) on a Wetherspoons room, and thought I'd try it. Glad I did, it's a good choice!

The breakfast wasn't included in the price but it was easy enough to just order and pay.

Perfect location. I don’t eat breakfast but my husband went down to eat. The cooked breakfast was all fine but not hot enough. When a waiter asked “Is your breakfast ok” my husband said okay but not very hot. The waiter just said “Sorry “ but didn’t offer to warm it up or replace.

A warmer breakfast! Everything else was fine. Lovely room, stylish, chic and spacious. Friendly staff. Great food (our dinner) at great prices. No complaints.

lovely historical building. upper floor to the rooms were spotless, as was our room. Modern, clean, and well furnished. every door leading to the rooms were very secure, had to use your room card to enter them, and to activate the lift, making sure not just anyone can enter the upstairs accommodation. stones throw from the beach. every member of staff, from domestic to security were so nice, helpful and polite. benefit of staying at a spoons, cheap beverages and food! we’re really enjoyed our 2 night stay. would deffo return, and totally recommend to others.

This was a last minute booking as we just decided to go explore some pubs in Harwich and had never stayed at a Wetherspoons accommodation before. The room was absolutely lovely, the bathroom very modern and we had a great stay. Had a few beers and some food at the pub but also explored the rest of the town and hit up some other nice pubs and restaurants. We would definitely stay at this place again.

The bed was comfy enough but not as good as other places we've stayed so I will mention that.

Room very spacious, large comfortable bed, very clean, great shower, great tea and coffee tray. Guy who checked us in was friendly and professional.

Car park not in use, had to park on road outside hotel. Bedside lamp missing on one side. Service very very slow in bar, was waiting at the bar to be served along with 2 others, 1 barman was leisurely cleaning glasses while 2 bar women were having a great chat and laugh among themselves, not good when customers are left waiting.,

Big rooms , lovely decor , clean , contained everything you need with hair dryer , iron and ironing board , bottled water , biscuits . Nice bedding, comfy beds and very good air conditioning. Fantastic value for money . Would definitely stay in weatherspoons hotels again . Only downside was we booked a certain room and the hotel rang me and confirmed this room and told me the room number but when we arrived the room had been given to someone else . I complained and eventually 3 staff members all arguing about where they would put us gave us a room which was acceptable . This put a downer on our stay a bit sadly .

It was perfect for our ferry to Holland the next morning. The rooms were large and the bed super comfy. Bathroom spotless and price was very cheap. The staff in the bar / restaurant were warm and friendly and they even let us have our motorbikes into the locked yard. Food and drinks of a good quality and very cheap. A short walk to the seafront to let the food go down before a good nights sleep

The location was great, and i was surprised i couldnt hear any of the noise from the bar downstairs. The room was lovely and the bed was extremely comfortable. the security of the room was good as well

the service at the bar downstairs wasnt very good, and i dont mean the speed of the orders being completed, i mean how long it takes to get served at the bar was concerning. at one point there was 4 people behind the bar and only 1 person was serving.... yet the other 3 were talking (Not about work as i could hear there conversation)

Probably one of the best hotel rooms Ive ever stayed in ! Soundproof room and very a comfortable bed , along with good internet and airconditioning that worked perfectly . Just perfect with very friendly staff . Thankyou I will return .
