Room was accessible for a wheelchair user. Having a lift to our first-floor room was one of the main reasons we booked this hotel. As an interest, the lift only services the first floor. The location was exceptionally good, right in the centre of town. There are two disability parking bays outside the hotel. Blue badge holders do not have a time limit and parking is free. We occupied one of the spaces for the duration of our stay which was four nights. Our room was large enough to accommodate my wheelchair without it being in the way when not in use, also the walk-in shower and bathroom were large and roomy. There is a pull-cord system in place in case of emergencies and various rails around the loo and shower. The only thing I would say was that it is inconvenient is the size of the wash hand basin is tiny and a tad useless if I must be honest. I tended to get more water on me than in the bowl. PLEASE can we have grown up hand basins Mr Tim

Our disability-accessible room was directly over the outdoor area of the hotel…it was so noisy it was impossible to sleep until the bar closed. Our room was -shall we say tired and in need of updating …chipped marked furniture, the window was permanently closed for safety reasons apparently …so no Fresh air and no air con just a stand-alone electric fan in the wardrobe would we stay here again stay and the answer would be yes as a person with a disability it was easy to move around.

The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The room also had 2 comfy armchairs. The bathroom was large and the shower was excellent and there were lovely, large, white fluffy towels. We were in the oldest part of the hotel with views of the high street. There was no noise from the pub downstairs but there was of course traffic noise most of which could be kept out by shutting the windows and the secondary glazing.

My only negative was that the dustmen collected the rubbish at 4am every morning (not Sunday morning). So if you are a light sleeper you may want to opt for a room that doesn't face onto the road.

We had asked for twin beds and these were provided and very comfortable. The room was larger than expected, clean and with a hairdryer and iron. The tv was large but should have been on a moveable fitting as not easy to view from the second bed. The pub was busy but exceptionally well run. The service was excellent, the food was good and the staff very friendly.

The hotel entrance is difficult to find as the signs say its through the garden yet you have to go inside and through to the end of the pub for the reception. Our room was poorly decorated and not painted behind the tv. The shower was very old and had a curtain!!! If you're eating in the garden beware of the wasps, although the pub cannot be blamed for this.

Thankful for the lift to first floor with my case. Loved having a seat by the window. Great shower. Comfortable bed. Spacious room. Great location to riverside and many great walks (have stayed here before). Breakfast was great. Could ‘make up’ a breakfast that was not on the menu and was always accommodated (dietary restrictions) Staff are always pleasant and more than helpful, helped me locate the local go surgery and later checked I’d found it ok.

Would have liked a mini fridge in room but got by without.

We have stayed here for over 20 years for 1 night each time. The location is perfect, with car parking facilities just over the road. The room was pleasant and bed comfortable. Bathroom clean and tidy. Breakfast pretty good too

The Bedrooms need a Facelift now. The rooms need new carpets, an upgrade in the Bathroom and general decorations to bring it up to other Hotel standards now The breakfast although good wasn't as good as usual. I think they have changed the Beans (cheap version)

The location is great - right in the centre of Henley, bus station literally in front of the hotel, train station nearby. Overall the standards are up to usual Whetherspoons, While this is not probably the best hotel in the world, everything works and is of a good quality. Breakfast is fine, not very busy in the morning.

The hotel is very very old, although renovated (probably many times), it is an old building with the quirks that old building usually have, it's a maze of doors :)

Good and reliable 'spoons breakfast and coffee (bottomless) As we are disabled the appropriate room was adequate for us, and also there was enough space to park our mobility scooters as well. The central location in the town is a winner. There are also a couple of disabled bays right outside the front door. (If you are lucky enough to grab them!)

Not their fault, but a local flower shop keeps 'grabbing' one of the disabled bays to park their delivery van, so you have to quick to get in! (they do display a blue badge, but I am pretty sure that it should be used for business purposes)

We loved the Hotel and the location.. We were able to get the Elizabeth line into London.. And back .. Making the stay a lot cheaper than staying in London.. Henley was gorgeous too.. We will definitely return soon..

Although the bar staff were lovely we found the reception staff unhelpful and unfriendly.. After checking in the girl didnt proceed to give us directions to the room .. But just turned away.. Niether did they greet us in the mornings

Location was fantastic and just where we wanted to be - in the middle of town as we didn't have a car and we were attending the Henley Festival for the first time. Check in staff were super friendly and helpful. and we loved our breakfast on Monday morning - just what we wanted!

A few more firmer pillows for sitting up in bed more comfortably - but that's all - we could have asked of course but we didn't.

The accessible room was large, bed very comfortable and the wet room very easy for my wife to use.

The room(no.102) was above the outdoor seating area with the window in a screw-fixed partly-open position. Unforunately, on our second night(a Tuesday) there happened to be a large group of youths who became more vociferous (presumably the more they drank) and the air riddled with gratuitous language of the worst type until closing time. This unfortunate happening was(of course) not of your doing and I realise how difficult it is in these times to confront such behaviour, but perhaps it would be better if the window could be fully closed in order to mitigate the problem.
