Location was idyllic, very quiet, back of beyond, accommodation, a perfect getaway. The hosts were very accommodating, friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was cooked to order and was very tasty, especially with an alternative to cereal, the healthy muesli, natural yoghurt and fruit. It was lovely to taste home grown produce, including marmalade, and to have fresh cafetiere coffee was a bonus, especially in the room.

Main quibble, although not too serious, was the poor quality of the free wifi. It was better used with phones rather than ipads, was very slow and often dropped out. We also felt the accommodation was slightly overpriced in comparison to other B&B places we have stayed and we didn't experience a noticeable difference for the extra price paid, We put it down to the setting.

Location great for all attractions in the area and close to Hereford .Breakfast was lovely. Little touches in the bedroom welcomed such as choc biscuits and cooler box for hot days and selection of teas /coffee Views to die for esp if you get a lovely sunset

Couple of niggles i suppose shower difficult to keep temp and not very powerful , and bathroom not very big so not much space for toiletries ,TV limited number of channels and small for size of room.

The breakfast was delicious. I only asked for 2 eggs and mushrooms for the cooked part of the breakfast. The eggs were fantastic. The only reason I marked one smiley face down from Excellent for the Facility section was that the room was a little cold for me and I appreciate everyones body thermostat is different. I did use the extra portable radiator which was very welcome.

I am being really picky here, but it would be nice to have more than 1 choice of marmalade/jam to go on the toast.

Very friendly hosts, a comfortable bed with all the facilities that you need in the room and en-suite. Breakfast was excellent, 5 star standard. Quiet rural location. Sat outside in the evening listening to the owls and watching bats darting between the trees whist looking across the valley toward the Black mountains. The location serves as an excellent base for visiting Herefordshire and adjoining counties. Was not for us on this occasions, but the local public footpaths looked well maintained for walking the rolling hills. Facilities provided for microwave food or take-aways which helps with the budget!

Coming to the end of our relaxing 3 night stay. But we will return.

Prospect Barn is a superbly located for a quiet couple of days away. Situated in rural Herefordshire the views from the property were exceptional. The facilities were first class and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was as if you were in a top hotel and served by our lovely hosts. Excellent places to eat locally in the evening and within easy striking distance of Hereford.

To be quite honest there is nothing to write here.

The breakfast was excellent. Everything was really good quality and presented beautifully. Eggs from their own hens and the fruit starter was amazing. The room was very clean and had tea coffee etc and a microwave and electric cooler box. As the weather was so hot they left us a frozen bottle of water which we appreciated. The barn conversion has the most beautiful views and is located approx 4 miles from Hereford. Malcolm and Thelma are the most lovely hosts. A fabulous find for a few nights break

Bathroom is on the small side. As the weather was unbearably hot for me I would have liked a fan to keep cool. But we understand the weather isn't like this very often.

I stayed at Prospect Barn for one night. Malcolm and Thelma have created a wonderfully cosy space, and they were very welcoming. The B&B is in a gorgeous location with great views over the Hereford countryside, just 10 minutes from Hereford centre. When I first arrived, I sat at their pond and just enjoyed the quiet. The bedroom was very nicely decorated - and there was everything for teas/coffees and biscuits too. The room is on the side of the barn, so it felt separate, but Malcolm encouraged me to call if I needed anything. I couldn't hear anything during the night; it was so peaceful. In the morning, Malcolm and Thelma welcomed me into their dining area, and I had a delicious breakfast. I have already passed on the their details to a friend, and I hope to return at some point!

Beautiful location, lovely breakfast with all options available for those of us with sensitive digestion or vegan/vegetarian requirements. Very welcoming hosts who treated you as honoured guests. The accommodation itself is a perfect size for a few days away in an old stone barn. We stayed in the summer but it'd be fine for the winter too. Can't recommend highly enough.

Wow! What was there not to like! The room was lovely and cosy, it had a shower, tv, a rail for hanging clothes and in case you needed it, there was an electric blanket on the bed! The views were absolutely stunning, as we sat on the patio, it was beautiful and peaceful with just bird song. The pictures of the room were taken the next day, so the room won't look like this on arrival! Malcolm and Thelma were wonderful hosts and would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to get away from the hussle and bussle of day to day life

I think the only thing that could be in the room was a little fridge. It would have been nice to be able to put our own drinks in ready for our return, so we could enjoy a cold drink whilst sat outside.
