The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. The menu was fairly described without a lot of hype. Not cheap but reasonably fairly priced. Breakfast whilst not excellent in choice (there was no fruit/yoghurt, limited cereals and fruitjuice) was nonetheless perfectly adequate. It was nicely presented and served reasonably quickly, so was perfectly adequate. The room was a good size and warm and the bed likewise was a good size and comfortable. All in all surpassed our expectations.(Not often I write that!)

Lovely location close to the Malvern hills and our walking weekend. Hosts Heather and Chris are fantastic as are all of the staff we met - so friendly! The Room (number 4) was lovely and spacious and spotless, I loved the remote control for the lights and the ceiling fan - I bet that fan is a godsend in the summer! The bunk beds being in a separate area is also great and there was a lovely bath/shower. We had our evening meal at the Inn; our dog and another dog sitting across from us decided to have a barking competition which no doubt wasn't great for others around us; the staff were very professional and found another table for us to move to. This diffused things, was welcomed, and continued to make for a great night. As for the food - the Pate was lovely, as was the Pork Steak. My wife's squid, and then steak were also given great reviews. The breakfast was also lovely; the best tasting sausage and scrambled eggs i have had for a long while! I cannot fault anything with the stay, and next time we are in the area we will definitely be staying again!

The room was a good size and very comfortable and although I chose a preference for a single bed, having a king size was actually a bonus! The general facilities were excellent, a very nice and spacious bathroom. I arrived later than anticipated but I was still able to have a meal in the very busy restaurant. The recommendations for food and drink went down well! Breakfast was also excellent with a good variety on offer. Lovely coffee and very tasty cooked breakfast.

I really can't fault the Oak Inn in any way. A friendly and welcoming place that treats its guests very well.

The breakfast was lovely and hot and looked attractive, however my husband felt another sausage for the men would be appropriate, even though they were specialized he fancied 2! due to their size. we were asked if we required any extras which was a nice thing to do!

The evening menu looked expensive, however we had a fantastic home made 3 course meal and drinks all for under £100.00 for 3 adults. Exceptional sorbet! One to remember, thank you all!

What a cracking place to stay (especially if you have interests in the local area). Food was top notch both evening meal and a terrific breakfast. My kind of pub location and facilities were way above expectations. Its that good. I'm not a hotel person and love the pub feel and this delivered in spades. Good beer Great food and near new rooms that were pristine. Cant fault the place. Trouble is ..... now I've reviewed ..... probably won't be able to get a room in the future as you will all want to give it a go.

Located away from main roads meant it was quiet. The room was exceptional with a large en suite bathroom with bath. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Evening meal and breakfast were excellent quality.

Pre ordering breakfast as I never know what I would like for breakfast until the morning.

Lovely location, delicious breakfast extremely comfortable bed, cotton sheets and great view. Most staff lovely (see note below)

The host looked as if he would rather be anywhere else. Clearly they were busy that weekend (21 May) but really he needs to act a little happier and be more welcoming. My husband doesn't notice this kind of thing usually but he commented a couple of times how joyless the host seemed.

the staff were friendly and knowledgeable and went out of their way to help. room was large and well appointed, comfortable and clean. we are in the middle of a heat wave as I write. without the fan from the kitchen it would have been very very hot. but they found a fan. lovely helpful staff food amazing!!!

We arrived later than the check in without a table booking too, we were greeted with the warmest welcome by Chris and Heather and an amazing meal.. all the staff are lovely the food was amazing and the room with views perfect way to end the day absolute treasure this place.. 10/10 from us, million percent will be returning soon thanks again.

Nice room (King size with bunk bed for son), quite recently upgraded. Excellent/friendly owner and staff and the pub serves excellent food (we had dinner and breakfast). Good atmosphere in the pub and clearly popular with the locals.

It is a pub, so as should be expected, the downside is slight noise downstairs but did not notice anything post 10:30, and nothing to be concerned about. Was not woken up in the morning (we rose at 08:15).
