The lady directed us to her and waited outside for us to arrive . We were given our key and told all the information which was very helpful . Our room was very large with a choice of beds . Very comfortable sleep . Hot water for the bath was plentiful. Car park to the rear of the house more than ample. We will not hesitate to book and stay there again , we enjoyed it . Breakfast was not a cooked breakfast due to Covid but a packed breakfast placed outside our door . It was alot that we took some with us to stop and eat on the way home.

Absolutely nothing everything was fine .

The property had a lovely feel about it Beautiful scenery fab location Lovely feel to the rooms breakfast In a bag daily Really thoughtful breakfast , healthy Rooms cleaned daily Come and go as you please Doreen is a fab host It is a 1902 building, and very quirky Rustic and lovely on my arrival I had a deer come up to my window literally Dinmpre hill is not far , taxis are reasonable into town too

There was nothing to dislike I am hoping when I go back in August the lawns are cut so I can sit out in the gardens they are beautiful I think it was. The time of year or for the gorgeous deer to Roam free with some protection

I loved this place. It was easy to find . Easy to get ring to get room key . The lady was lovely . I loved the old hotel feel. The room was large and the bed was amazing. The bathroom- although dated , the shower was lovely . The breakfast in the mornings were great . Really nice idea . I really loved staying here with my son . Thank you

Unfortunately the room was a bit full of spiders and cobwebs, I don’t mind them but if someone who didn’t like them , then that would be a disaster. A few of the lights didn’t work and had to put on toilet light to see to make a cup of tea .

The room was beautiful. Lovely 4 poster bed and French doors opening out to a garden and the parking. The bath was amazing with the jets, just what we needed after a long day. (toiletries also provided) Breakfast was left for us the following morning with porridge, orange juice, brunch bars, yoghurt and pain au chocolate. Such a cute little place. Perfect for our anniversary stay as we were visiting Holmer Park Spa which was a 5 minute drive away.

I'm terrible at sleeping on hotel beds and this was no different, mattress was a bit too uncomfortable for me but the hubby slept fine😊

Very friendly manager, good communication. Ok it's a bit of eccentric set-up but we arrived late, were able to let ourselves in, order Just Eat and have a comfortable night. The spider haters need to get a grip! I personally like a building with character that doubtless has a tale or two to tell, and isn't shy of reminding us we share the planet with other species! Some complain that the breakfast is random but it did 4 of us for breakfast AND lunch, and we're still snacking on some of the bars now. No complaints here!

If we stay again I'll tell them I'm veggie as all the sandwiches were ham. The kids loved them though

The property was in a fantastic location for us all, we stayed 2 nights for a family wedding party. We were close enough to everywhere to just have short Taxi trips and not have to drive. It’s a charming place and we all loved it. The bedding was beautifully fresh and clean as were the towels. The beds and pillows were particularly comfortable too. We didn’t get a cooked breakfast but a bag was placed outside the rooms in the mornings which were very good quality and plentiful. We got orange juices, croissants, Cadbury brunch bars, yoghurts, porridge pots and sandwiches. Tea and coffee were available too with a tea tray in the room. The hairdryer was good and powerful which is refreshing compared to some places. 8 of us travelled and we were placed in rooms 9,4,5,6. 4,5 and 6 had patio doors opening up to the stoned garden with chairs and tables outside. This was perfect for us as after we had been out to eat on the first evening the 8 of us were able to sit out and enjoy drinks. Upon arrival we called the number on the door and the lovely owner gave us a code to get in and codes for our keys. It was quick and simple. I called a short time later asking how to turn off the bathroom towel radiator as it was too warm, she greeted me in a warm and friendly manner and gave me instructions. I also requested some drinking glasses as only had small tea cups in the room, she arrived a short while later and left them in reception for us. Over all I would give the place 9 out of 10. We would definitely stay again too.

Not particularly dislikes but the building was quite old and dated and could do with some TLC to bring it back to its former glory. Everything that you needed to be clean was so although there were quite a few cobwebs but that is to be expected being in a woodland area. The iron and ironing board was quite old and non steam. I remedied this with a quick trip to B&M for a spray bottle which made life easier. We didn’t find anything of major dislike and really enjoyed our stay.

The position of the property is great. 10 minutes by car and 30 mins walk into central Hereford. It's a very quiet location , albeit close to a main road. Car parking facilities are great. Little parcel of breakfast goodies in the morning. Registering, booking in and room access was effortless, and Doreen was very helpful . Thank you

The property does need some updating but did not spoil the stay. It's a beautiful old property.

I liked the big field . I enjoyed picking blackberries there ! I liked it when I rang uk to ask if it would be possible to have twin beds rather than just a double bed . The lady who answered the phone had such a lovely laugh ! It is really helpful and nice to organise things by direct phone communication rather than filling in forms on line .

I would have preferred to meet the host rather than just talk on the phone at the moment we arrived . I would have preferred a proper breakfast rather than a packed lunch style breakfast .

Lovely large room with Four Poster Bed, sofa, modern bathroom and access to the large, leafy back garden. Room was very clean and had interesting detailing with the wall lights and carved four poster bed. Some people may find the hotel old fashioned but we liked the character of the place. 'Grab and Go' style breakfast had plenty of items in the bag. Large car park. Good value for money.

Never saw the host as we had to ring to get the key code to the main entrance and then was directed to our room ( the lady I spoke to was lovely on the phone, I'm just used to going to reception and speaking in person).

Room with 4 Poster bed was brilliant (if a little creaky) and such a large room. Spa Bath was a bonus, shame only holds one at a time.? Perfect place to stay would visit again.

Breakfast was a cold selection left in a bag on your door in the morning, would have loved the offer of an alternative sit down breakfast rather than find out in the morning this was the only option - however what was supplied was great, we could eat our porridge on our patio as weather was good and the sandwiches survived till lunch time
