Aqua Bay is excellently positioned right on the sea front and very close to all amenities. It is run by Tony and his good lady wife and it truly felt we were staying with friends rather than a guest house. Our room was very comfortable the bed afforded a great night sleep. Everything was provided in the room to make our stay very comfortable. Even a pair of binoculars to look out to sea. Great touch. Aqua Bay is very clean. Plenty of choices for breakfast to cater for all tastes (we had full English) served by Tony in the lovely breakfast room.

Nothing.

Lovely location, very clean and nice. Breakfast was delicious!

The parking was difficult. There is free parking from 6pm-8.30am over night, but would get very full very quickly on weekends, we did struggle to find spaces. We did move our cars to public parking, some of the public parking won’t let you extend for 24hrs, so we would have to move our cars again during our stay. If you time it well, and happy to walk, you may be able to find free parking but this is something to consider. We would come visit again but via train!

Parking was available conveniently opposite the guest house, though you had to pay, but it was free after 6 pm until 8.30 am the next day. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. They gave us a warm welcome and information about good places to eat and we went to a very good Turkish restaurant on the sea front. Breakfast was very good and the service was prompt and well organised. We had a double room with a sea view and it was just as we had hoped for. It was lovely to look out towards the sea while sipping a cup of tea. We felt very relaxed.

There wasn't anything we didn't like. We were happy with the facilities provided.

Tony and Sally were fantastic hosts, so hospitable and friendly. They welcomed us like we were old friends and were very accommodating with helping to store our bikes after a long days ride. The room had a lovely sea view as advertised and very close to amenities.

Tea or coffee making facilities in the room might be a nice additional touch. The shower is a touch on the small size, but only an issue for those on the taller side.

Sally and Tony were very welcoming & friendly and we enjoyed chatting with them. We were a group of 6 women walking part of the coast. Forgot to advise re vegetarians/vegan/1 gluten intolerant. They were really flexible & provided tasty breakfasts for all of us. The rooms are lovely - small but clean, bright, nicely decorated, comfortable beds. The location is fab, right by the pier. It was spot on for our group - thank you.

Nothing to say here!

Sally and Tony that run the B&B are the best hosts. We haven't stayed in a B&B so I was a little nervous about the experience compared to a hotel but they were fantastic with helping us with whatever we needed, directions, extra teas and sugars to helping us track down a lost JustEat food order. Our room was very clean and had everything we needed. Lovely breakfast and accommodating to dietary requirements. The accommodation is right on the sea front so a lovely view too. Will definitely come back when in town

The shower was on the smaller side so my partner struggled but was definitely adequate for a few nights stay with no issue.

I don't have enough words to express my gratitude to Sally, the host of the Aqua Bay. She surrounded us with a friendly and warm atmosphere, it feels like home there. The room was enough for the three of us, spotlessly clean and cozy. Also Sally was so kind that bought a cot for our baby! It is a hard to find a place which accepts babies, and this home certainly welcomes babies and their parents.

Nothing at all.

The host & and hostess were extremely welcoming and nothing was too much trouble! Their knowledge of the area and places recommended were very helpful. Great choice of a range of delicious breakfasts and the place was exceptionally clean throughout. We would definitely rate Aqua Bay Guest House top marks!

This is by no way down to the proprietors of the guest house, but unfortunately, the parking can be a bit of a nightmare. Nevertheless, once on arrival, Tony, the host, tells you the best place to park, which is free and only a few minutes walk away.

The location is excellent. We were upgraded to a family room at the top of the house overlooking a beautiful sea view. The ensuite room had everything we needed, bed's are very comfortable. Tony and Sally are lovely host's, friendly and welcoming, nothing too much trouble. Tony's breakfast's are really, really good! We enjoyed our stay very much.
