Great location. Clean and quiet; hardly any noice from the Airport in the room. It has everything you need as a stopover for one or two nights stay as a traveller using Heathrow Airport. The Train system around the Terminals, and also to London, is good, though it may seems to be complicated for one that do not know it yet. This time I used the Elizabeth train to London, and I will be using it again, though its little bit more expensive than the Sub. And also its much cleaner and faster train to use - if one is going to London from the Airport.
The price of the Hotel - and in my opinion its over priced. As I came early in the morning (about 0830) I could not get my room until after noon. But, I was offered a "early check in" for 50.-pounds extra! I felt like it was really not ok of the staff to offer this kind of deal, so I refused it. If they had a room, why did they not let me have it without extra cost, as I had already payed a lot for. Situation like that is not what I want to deal with after 12-14 hours flight. But this is their business, and therefore the quality of the service is not as good as expected, and I wrote above ...

Location is obviously the main appeal when you need to catch an early flight and can go straight to the terminal. Everything else was a great bonus: friendly helpful staff, spacious clean rooms.
We are a family of 5 (2 adults and 3 young kids) so I requested to stay together in the junior suite which has 2 rooms with 2 large beds and the kids are used to sleeping in one large bed whenever we travel. The hotel refused and we had to pay for an extra room which never even entered... They didn't have connected rooms and obviously we weren't going to leave our 7, 5 and 2 years old in a room on their own... and the junior suite had plenty of space for all of us. So we just had to pay for an extra room we never used.

The staff are so magnificently pleasant.
Signage to the hotel. The terminal I landed at showed absolutely nothing about how to find the hotel. Not a single sign exists to say "this way to the hotel". Even after phoning to get directions there still isn't a single sign to say you are on the right route for the hotel. Suggestion, why not provide a link after booking explaining how to get to the hotel once you have landed at the terminal. I would have given the hotel 10/10 but it's insane trying find it without instruction or proper signage.

I like the cleanliness and comfort and quietness of the room. The room size was just as nice and comfortable. Easy check in as well. As the location is within the airport so there are not many food varieties though there are within the hotel which is good and nothing to explore within the airport. The sound of planes which was mentioned by some reviewers - I did not hear anything at all and it was all quiet to sleep in during my stay. The overall experiences was definitely awesome. The house keeping team was nice on the next day i am in as she shared on the shortest way to reception.
It would be nice to have basic toiletries like toothpaste, toothbrush or shower cap etc for a hotel. The door safety lock was faulty and could not lock well, i did not asked to fix as it was just 2 days stay. The sign of the name of hotel from train station is too small to view so it would be nice to be of viewable size.

Location to the airport
Lack of signage from the coach station to find the entrance. Also they took £50 deposit which is fine but still 3 weeks later sitting in my account pending so still awaiting refund. This refund should be instant as they take the money instantly from your account

Loved the bathroom, except the shower wand: water pressure too weak. The bed was extremely comfortable. Loved the view of the airport/planes. The food was really good.
As an African Amerian, I was offended by the host at the Apron hotel. Sign at entrance states to wait to be seated. He asked how many in my party, I replied 2. He told me that the restaurant was currently operating slowly and suggest I to go around the corner to the bar where they also served food. No, I replied! Sat us in a corner where my daughter was not visible. He immediately sat other parties of two without question, two of which near us. The waiter took the order of those two before us and their meals were served long before us. As the waiter was walking away, it was my look of disappointment that brought him back to my table to take my order for which I then gave him an ear full.

Once we got there the reception staff were great, quick and informative. Got to thrown which we liked and of course it’s an airport so the window view was of the car park opposite T2 departures but we did not care. The roof top bar was fantastic. Incredible views if you’re a plane nerd but we liked it. Loved the food we ordered - the samosa and chick pea curry sauce - wow. Very good and frankly you should, put more Indian ‘snack’ food on the menu. Good range of drinks too. We went downstairs and watched the football later in the 2nd floor bar - OMG it was so cold but great service and liked the beers and cocktails
OK you’ll get told this all the time - it’s damn long complicated way to to T3 and that is where our flight to the Cayman Islands was leaving from. Can I suggest a transfer bus or golfing cart from the hotel to departures please. That only tiny gripe is please change the bedside sockets to include 1) a USB charger for the phone and 2) multi-region socket for laptops etc … we all got to charge IT gear for with weird plugs. Saves lots of hassles. Water in the room would be great and a mini-bar

Great location for early flights from terminal 2 Once you have checked in the experience is great - getting to airport from the hotel is very straightforward (finding the hotel is less straightforward - see below)
Quite expensive compared to other nearby options but ideal for early flights from terminal 2. The directions to hotel from the station are not the clearest to follow. Stayed a few times at this hotel and I have to rely on memory to find the hotel My son who arrived by car before me and had never had to find his own way there before found it very difficult to locate the hotel from the airport car park using the shuttle buses. I had to guide him in via phone. Please improve the instructions around directions via method of arrival. It is a struggle to find the hotel if you’ve not been before

I've stayed in this hotel a few times before and after flights. It's really convenient to get to T2. It takes about 2 mins to walk to the terminal, through a carpark, which is all under cover. The rooms are spacious and clean. And the bed and pillows are comfortable.
It's quite pricey, but you're paying for the proximity to the terminal. Another thing I noticed more on my last visit was how noisy it was in the corridor. I really noticed people opening and closing doors and wheeling bags along the corridor. As it's an airport hotel with people leaving for flights, this was happening at all times of the evening, through the night and early in the morning. It's just something to be mindful of if you're a light sleeper.
