The location was great just a short walk to manor house tube station. Then the tube into London. Plenty of shops near by and food and coffee places. Great room clean and tidy very good value for money. Staff were very helpful too. We had our own entrance for when the pub was shut so easy to access too. We were in room 19 great room with everything you could possibly need for your stay. Will definitely be using you again ,and passing details to friends and family. Thank you guys for a great stay . ❤️

Can't think of anything at all , maybe the work men outside lol waking us up at 8 but that is no fault at all of the hotel and couldn't be helped.

Location was perfect for travel into work in central London. It’s a great budget place to stay for a few nights. Staff were friendly and helpful. Bed was comfortable and the room was clean. I selected one of the single bed rooms and it was small but comfortable. All the facilities (TV, shower, fridge, wifi, etc) worked as they should. There’s also a lot of places to eat or shops to buy essentials across the road or close by. Would stay again if I need a cheap place for a few nights while in town for work.

The bathroom was very small so not the most comfortable but it was fine. The whole place could do with an update but for the price you’re paying, it’s exactly what you’d expect.

Great value! I can't imagine a better place to stay close to central London at this price. The room was clean, including the bed and the bathroom. It was equipped with all you needed to make tea or coffee, with even some cereal and some milk in the fridge. (Yes, it had a fridge!) The barman/receptionist was a cheerful, friendly and helpful guy who helped us with whatever we needed.

These were not problems, just things you should know: There is a pub downstairs. We stayed on a Wednesday & Thursday night, and it was quite loud until about 10:30 pm, but not at all bothersome afterwards. There is no hairdryer. We knew this from the description, so we brought our own. Make sure you come prepared as well.

It was clean and the staff were helpful

Trying to get into the hotel in the eve after a concert was scary. Myself and my young daughter had to go down an alleyway to a metal door that needed unlocking (we couldnt find it), there were dodgy men about (the hotel front door was locked) Once in we walked straight into a bar where loads of men were partying and we had to walk up metal stairs and unlock a door to get in. Also in the morning a member of cleaning staff went to unlock our door, this was 10ish and we didnt need to be out until 11. Was getting dressed, noone even knocked!

Great value for money for the location, tube and overground both walking distance, and easy access to all of Green Lanes. Room was perfectly grand for what I needed, just a place to rest my head. Check in and out was smooth, backdoor access to the hotel after pub hours is very handy.

There are no staff there overnight which can be a little anxiety inducing, especially as one night had two security alarms going off at 1am and 2am - probably from people trying to get in the pub or in/out the wrong door at night.

Very private. come and go as you please easy check in. can come and go through back entrance instead of going through the pub. fridge available. tiny freezer compartment. maybe for ice lolly’s if staying during hot days. just a standard room nothing special but if you going there for leisure then what the hotel looks like is of no importance. WI-FI is good. TV freeview available. we literally just stayed in the room to sleep only was out all day. supermarket just across the road and McDonald’s. Mannor house is nearest tube station and just follow the road down no turning corners. Wood Green not far if you want to go cinema or just enjoy the restaurants or cafes. Morrisons is also in Woodgreen. pleasant stay host great the bar staff lady was so friendly. I don’t understand the other reviews. no it’s not the Ritzz but your paying a bargain price for London with a tube ride only 10 mins from central. 11 & under travel free on tubes and buses. tea and coffee available in the room. couldn’t hear pub below. only when I was leaving to go outside in the evening and it tended to close about 22:30/23:00.

no breakfast 🙁

Me and my partner stayed for one night in a double room as we were attending a concert at Alexandria Palace, the location was close enough with public transport. We checked in with Kulan who was very helpful and polite, and showed us how to get to our room during the day and also when the pub was closed. We were placed in room 11 which was very spacious as it was a family room and was just the two of us, but the down side to this was it was a little chilly in the night. A couple of the recent reviews mentioned bed bugs which we were a little nervous about but the mattress was spotless and very clean.

When we arrived back to the hotel after the concert we noticed the double bed base was very wonky and not lining flush, and when I went to sit on it creaked horribly. We ended up sleeping on the two single beds as it was just for the one night so this wasn’t the end of the world.

I was a little worried about the hotel before I went there. What attracted most was the price, but some places can be real dives. This one, however, was anything but a dive. It looked inviting on the outside and it was just as nice on the inside. The internet speed (very important for my son) was between 20-35 mbs, depending on the time of day. Many restaurants and shops are nearby. Manor House Station is a few minutes up the road. The hotel has a pub that thankfully serves Guinness.

Some people might want air conditioning, but opening the window and/or turning on the fan does the trick for me.

Perfect location for people attending festivals/events at Finsbury Park, it is also opposite a retail park and fast food. It had plenty of facilities and our three person room was very spacious, staff were very accommodating and friendly and provided an extra fan straight away when we asked. Check in and out times are very flexible and convenient. The price for what you get is great value for money. Nothing was broken/faulty

Our room on the second floor was extremely hot and stuffy due to small windows providing little ventilation, but it was early July so it is to be expected. We were provided with multiple fans though which helped :)

On the outside, it does look like a pub, which it clearly is. Going up the external stairs, which are metal, it also doesn’t look great, and retails the feeling of trepidation. However, once I got to the room, it was excellent. It was clean, comfortable, tidy, and had everything a traveller needed. Even the attention to detail for a light breakfast had been included, with fresh milk and coffee. On the whole, it was EXCELLENT.

The stairs - could be slippery in wet weather as is outside.
