All of our visit was amazing 😁 a good night's sleep as beds were clean and comfortable. The staff were out of this world, especially Gav and Sue, and the lovely Irish lady who checked us in helped carry our bags to our room. The breakfast was just delicious with plenty of choice. Warm when it was very cold outside and the little bar was great and staff were really accommodating in providing drinks into the a.m. My only gripe and its not a major really as the beds and towels were clean was that fixtures were a little dusty I.e the wooden dresser in our room. This was no biggy for us tho as everything else was exceptionally amazing. What an amazing friendly accommodation g bunch they are xxxx

The location of the Rose Tor was fabulous. On arrival, we were pleasantly surprised with the breakfast and bar areas. My son and I had booked a budget room. It was small but had everything we needed. The shower had excellent power, and the bed was comfy with lovely pillows. On the first evening, on return from our evening meal, we went back to the hotel bar to be greeted by Gavin who was an excellent host and we spent every evening after our meal in the hotel bar, having lots of laughs with both him and the other residents who were equally in good spirits due to his infectious personality. Breakfast was buffet style and the choice was excellent! From fruit, pastries and the cooked offering! Was super pleased to see black pudding and hash browns on offer as well as the staple items. Sausages were obviously locally sourced and super tasty. By the time we left, we'd met, Gavin and Sue, who really had made us feel like family and made our evenings and stay super personal. We would definitely go back, especially if Gavin and Sue were there. Thanks for a fab time 🤩

There were a couple of minor issues with the room, cracked mirror in bathroom and a bulb missing from one of the reading lights at the bedside but nothing that affected our stay and didn't compromise the value for money. Buffet fried eggs are not my favourite, but when Sue was there, knocking up some scrambled eggs was no trouble at all!

Location excellent food really good to ...pleasant staff excellent night porter top guy ...plus an excellent bar with comfortable seating areas .

Bedding clean and comfortable but dirty bed throw put you off abit ...no shelf in shower made things tricky being a small cubicle...shelf in bathroom missing so no where to put stuff ...toilet moved when you sat on it loose on floor....curtain runners had missing hooks making them hard to shut ...bed frame wobbly definitely needs abit of a investment there...the hotel is 85% there just needs abit more money thrown at it unfortunately ...get what you pay for I suppose.

Loved the location, value for money, comfortable bed and the buffet breakfast which was awesome. The staff were very friendly and attentive. We arrived early and our room was ready. Lovely little bar and patio area outside.

So there's very little really to dislike, it was a little bit awkward finding the room initially but that's the layout of the building, I'm not marking it down for that, the room was quite small but still provided us with everything we needed and overall it was clean with a comfy bed. We did find several items left behind by other users, namely a pair of socks in the bedside cabinet, discarded packaging for a blow up ring and a hair bobin on the floor. To be honest, these are all little things that wouldn't really worry me. There's was no toilet paper in the bathroom but that was easily rectified with a small trip to reception.

Breakfast was very nice with lots of choice. Also a good time to start, 8am until 10am. Location, excellent, in the town, 2 minutes walk from the Orme, literally minutes walk into the town. Our room was an annexe type that was attached at the back of the hotel, it was more than suitable for my friend and I as it had 2 bedrooms, both with TV and Netflix, we were more than pleased. Staff very friendly.

Although the breakfast was nice with lots of choice, I personally would have preferred it to be hot, rather than warm, but this is just a personal preference. It was still nice. We could also smell the drains in our room which wasn't very pleasant but luckily it didn't last too long.

Lovely lady on check-in. The hotel looks like the pictures with a good sized room and comfortable bed. On departure the same lady was almost embarrassed when I said the hot tap did not work on the basin. It is because I liked the hotel I advised of this and a couple of other minor items.

All minor; the hot tap would not turn on, the toilet wobbled when sat on (a shim under it would soon solve) and curtain hooks were off the rail. The item I forgot to mention on departure was the shower hose had not been included in the cleaning for a while.

Breakfast, self serve but surprisingly really good quality....stayed 2 nights and both mornings had a good choice .. staff happy to chat and have a giggle and very helpful ..... Good atmosphere in the bar (when weather' s a bit rough). Keeps a good pint... Place is a bit tired but clean enough, would stay again without hesitation .. 👍

The walk uphill on the way back after a day out, and no overnight parking outside hotel..🤦

The staff was really lovely, and the hotel is close to both the beach and shops and restaurants. Breakfast was also really lovely. We really enjoyed our stay. All in all u would go there again and recommend it to friends.

The room we stayed in could benefit from a deep clean. Also the hairdryer was missing from the room, and there didn't appear to be a spare one either when I asked for it.

The amazing staff, Sue, Trish and Duncan, who were extremely friendly, helpful and welcoming. Sue made the fantastic breakfast and Duncan was a great mine host around the bar, Trish was always there to lend a hand. We sincerely hope the lady who owns the property realises what gems they are. The beds were comfortable and we particularly appreciated the sofa in the bedroom.

All the heavy, church like furniture in the public areas, it seemed very cluttered and except for the settees was not particularly comfortable. The decor was obviously quality but made the whole area seem a little dark. The bathrooms were clean but a little dated n probably needed an update.

Location is great, busstop around the corner and just a short stroll from the pier, the old Tramway and the promenade. Plenty of shops and restaurants at your doorstep. Good beds. Breakfast was excellent! Lovely staff, they will go out of their way to help with anything you need.

Hygene could be better but wasn't too bad. Shame the restaurant was closed, I would have liked not having to go out every evening. Maybe it will reopen soon, I haven't asked. Check before booking.
