The hotel is well located beside Regents Park, perfect for a morning stroll to have brunch in the park's cafe. The late check out time of midday is wonderful. The reception and bar staff are very welcoming and helpful. We drove to the hotel and they were happy to tell us how many carparks were available just before our arrival so we knew we'd have space. It is open air parking so no height restrictions. We were lucky to have one room upgraded, though both rooms were very comfortable. The only slightly off putting experience was the man inside the door who never smiles and looks down his nose at you - perhaps he is security and paid to make guests uncomfortable. Definitely not representative of all the other wonderful staff.

The gentleman who first faces guests, immediately inside the door. His dour expression is very off putting as your first impression. Also, it would be good to warn guests who are driving that the entrance is in the back lane.

The staff very friendly and helpful. Very good location. Beds are very comfortable.

Very outdated room. The air conditioning doesn't work well, we didn't have the basic things in the room like slippers, robes. Breakfast could have more variety.

As soon as you walked into reception the greeting was warm and friendly and very helpful. The rooms were comfortable and had everything that you needed for your stay and the standard of cleanliness very high. The Breakfast had lots of choice and was very nice The restaurant in the evening was very good value for money with a nice selection of meals. The chef even willing to send a little taster out to my son to ensure that the sauce was not too spicy before he ordered. A special mention for Isha too, who works in the restaurant, whose smile and friendliness could brighten the cloudiest day. Great experience all round and will be staying again.

The renovation of the family rooms was top notch and we had a lovely stay. We stayed in a family room, which was very spacious, incredibly comfortable and modern. Extremely convenient for public transport, the proximity to the London Zoo and Regent park when travelling with children was absolutely fantastic. The staff are lovely and very helpful always.

A few points that need some thought despite our awesome stay are; It was quite noisy in our room, the train tracks were next to one of our windows and the trains are loud in the room we had and they go till late. We could hear the neighboring suites in our bathroom whenever they used the water or toilet. The closet lights never switched off. But we would definitely stay here again!

Room was warm, clean and a decent size

I had paid to upgrade to a deluxe twin but on arrival was told we had been upgraded to a suite. This sounded great expect on entering the room we could see one double bed and a sofa bed. For the price I had paid to upgrade I was not impressed that one of us would have ended up on a sofa bed! Back to reception and asked to be given the deluxe twin that I had paid for. Housekeeping were asked to make adjustments to a “double” and turn it into twin beds. This all took about half an hour so resolved fairly quickly. I have stayed here twice now and would return. Hall Porters, restaurant staff and housekeeping staff are all super polite, cheerful and helpful. Reception staff not so much!

we stayed in one of the updated rooms and my 7 year old son loved it. we booked one night to go the Winter wonderland. We got there half an hour before check in and we were told our room.was ready we didn't have to wait. We came back cold from being outside for so long and couldn't get warm even after hot shower and heating the room. we were given another duvet and an extra heater. the staff respond within minutes and so friendly. the breakfast was really good and overall a 10 out of 10 for everything. We will be back here next time we come for any London entertainment. The staff I must say are extremely helpful and friendly.

that we had only booked one night

Breakfast was excellent. Pavillon Bar was also very enjoyable. The location of the hotel is wonderful.

The room was a little small. There was no shower cap in the bathroom.

This was my second stay and, on the whole, it's one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in. I love it's open and elegant design, the helpfulness of the staff, it's cleanliness and it's proximity to the the legendary studios at Abbey Road. Also a great restaurant, if a little limited in choice.

There's a great deal about the Danubius I would find difficult to fault but the breakfast, unfortunately, wasn't one of them. Rock-hard bacon, bland sausage, metallic tasting mushrooms and an egg that was undercooked. The juices and yoghurts didn't seem that cold either. It was deeply frustrating in a hotel that otherwise exceeded my expectations and, sadly, it would be a huge stumbling block in deciding whether or not I would check in a third time.

Lovely family room. Good size with comfortable beds and bar fridge, tea and coffee. Enjoyed our stay. Good location next to Regents park (beautiful in spring) Closest tube 10 minute walk but there were three buses straight out the front which took you into the centre of London. Had breakfast and a good selection, enjoyed the berry compote. Ate at the hotel one night and enjoyed our food. The teddy bears for the kids was a special touch which was appreciated.

Staff at breakfast seemed board and were sometimes non attentive. To get to other restaurants you did need to walk a bit.

The hotel was clean, classy and facilities good. The staff were very helpful especially check in receptionist a real asset.

Our room 206 fridge cabinet door dropping on hinge. More water in fridge and more tea and coffee needed. Main restaurant chairs very uncomfortable. The staff playing around more concerned with each other not really restaurant professional. I asked about parking on booking put off with first come first served. When I arrived saw loads of spaces. Surely we should be able to book for our stay.
