Clean and comfortable

- Check in was not like before, it took a longer time - the renewal of bathrooms i did not like as there is no water , before the renewal was much better

I liked how the staff were helpful and attentive even though they were semi full. But that is expected when something is very expensive.

I didn't like my room at first. It was too deep inside. Then the staff kindly helped me and changed my room and upgraded because of others were full. Even their "negative" turned out to be positive.

We were staying for the weekend to celebrate my birthday and every thing from the check in process, to our tour of the facilities and our room was nothing short of exceptional. The attention to detail is second to none. We had a dinner on the Saturday at China Tang to celebrate my birthday and the whole experience was simply magical. We also had afternoon tea on Sunday, my actual birthday and that was just over and beyond beautiful.

No one thing! Simply put, you cannot beat perfection!

The hotel rooms were neat and clean. The staff at the reception were very courteous and helpful. They upgraded our rooms at a specific requests without much hassles. The room was big and spacious. I liked everything other than breakfast. This can be improved a bit. It is at the centre of the city and is easily accessible. Thank you all for making our stay a memorable one.

The staff are really friendly and welcoming, from reception to the people on the door , to staff in the dining room, the people who clean and keep the rooms immaculately. The Dorchester takes me back in time and made me imagine that we were in another era with all the focus on looking after guest but with all the mod cons!! This hotel welcomes, pamper and make you feel that you are a part of its history and that it is your home. I would like to thank Mila on reception who welcomed us and took us up to our room. We were celebrating our Anniversary and we we given an upgrade. There was the most amazing chocolate cake and champagne in our room. Wow we were blown away by this surprise feature to our room. My partner and I will be returning to the Dorchester very soon for another stay. We did not want the break to end and left with a heavy heart!

Absolutely nothing!!

Couldn't dream of a better location than this for our purpose. Completely central to all our shortlisted destinations. Hyde Park, Green Park, Harrods, Piccadilly Circus, Regent Street, Oxford Street, Green Park Buckingham Palace. Room very spacious. Breakfast was out of this world and service was beyond imagination. "Bending over backwards" to ensure a pleasant and comfortable stay for us was the motto the staff had throughout. We were here to celebrate my husband's birthday and it was a great decision and we hope to repeat it each year.

The very best hotel in London. A beautiful building, exceptionally well maintained and tastefully furnished. Everything is quality.

Nothing to report

The service was excellent and the accommodation very comfortable. Unfortunately, the renovations are creating something of an issue, but there was always a member of staff to assist.

I must admit to feeling a little resentful at the extra 'cleaning' charge of around forty-eight pounds which was added to our bill. Generally speaking, the cleaning costs are covered by the room cost and I did not appreciate being charged for this service.
