This was our 1st ever night away as a family this moring my little boy who has autism was having a complete meltdown about going in to the restaurant for his breakfast as there was music the night before and it really unsettled him I asked the lady in the restaurant would she mind if we ate in the lobby the lady was so kind to us took all out to us and there was no trouble made us feel so comfortable I can’t not thank this lady enough we will definitely be returning due to how the staff treated us The place was absolutely buzzing with family’s and the food was absolutely beautiful in the restaurant

Good facilities. Very good dinner on Saturday evening. Plenty of attentive staff. Food excellent.

Breakfast on Sunday morning was a disaster. Constant queues at welcome area. Not enough staff. Hot plate far too small. Forever a queue waiting on plates and food to arrive. One particular staff, although whilst under pressure didn’t handle kids well around hot plate, was very rude. As per lots having to wait for plates. Then having to wait again for eggs etc. a bigger hot plate holding more food would simplify everything. Most staff were busy constantly trying to restock the hot plate !!!! Couldn’t clear tables or reset for next people. Was shown to the only clear table left which still had no cups or cutlery etc.

This is our 4th stay here this year! My 10yr old son is autistic & the staff are all amazing with him here! They all remember him each time too. The food is beautiful (the menu has been changed a bit too which is great when you're there as often as us). But the main plus for him is the pool - you can use it as often as you want & for as long & doesn't need booked! It's open all day too. There is a small kids pool which is totally safe meaning I can get a swim in the big pool too!

The temperature of the pool is definitely colder than most pools! And if it had a lift it would make it much more accessible to all & I wouldn't have to keep requesting a ground floor room for mobility issues.

The staff were superb. Very friendly. Very helpful and very professional. Facilities were great. We really enjoyed the pool and spa and they have a great gym. Beautiful rooms. The restaurant has some stunning features

I was not keen on the location but if you don’t intend to leave the property then I highly recommend this one. It’s about a 15 min drive into the city centre. The staff were excellent as I have stated above. The restaurant was lovely and the food was nice but I wouldn’t say the quantity or quality match the price. There’s a McDonalds and an alternative restaurant about 5 minutes down the road in a retail park.

The large family room was beautiful and had a lovely homely feel. The hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful. We felt very welcome to be there. We stayed for two nights and had breakfast both mornings. The breakfast was delicious and there was a great selection. We also went for dinner in the restaurant on the second night and the food was excellent. We used the swimming pool, which was great, the facilities were clean and perfect for families to use. We loved our stay and would definitely book here again.

The shower was fine once you got it figured out. Although, the shower head couldn't be angled down so we felt it soaked the floor as it directly put water onto the floor at the angle it is at.

I travelled with my daughter for two nights stay and we arrived early which was no problem. The receptionist was very welcoming and checked us in right away. We were told everything we needed to know from where the restaurant was to the times breakfast and dinner where served. We had full access to the pool, sauna, and steam room which were a really nice treat. Our room was a great size and it had robes and slippers included which made it feel more special. We ate dinner in the restaurant both nights of our stay. All of the staff were very friendly and efficient. The food was so delicious. There was also entertainment in the bar area on the Saturday night to enjoy a few drinks at. Breakfast in the mornings was also really delicious and again the staff were really nice. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a nice quiet get-away. I would also definitely like to return.

Theres not a big lot I could say I disliked expect around the pool area would need a bit of TLC as there was mould around the ceiling and parts of the walls. Obviously with it being an indoor pool it would be impossible to keep the walls from being damp.

I booked this as a little holiday before my son went back to school. We must have been upgraded to a suite because it was a massive room with two king sized beds and a huge bathroom with separate shower and bath. We had the best stay, he loved the swimming pool and although we didn’t use the steam room or sauna they looked really lovely and plenty of people using them. Tv had Netflix and a couple of other apps and plenty satellite channels. Staff were so friendly the whole time and my son who has special needs even commented on how lovely the staff were. Plenty of parking. Would highly recommend.

Swimming pool could do with the heat being turned up just a little. We had a bit of an issue with the Wi-Fi connecting to the tv but I could hit spot my phone so not a big deal. You are not allowed to bring hot food into the rooms which we were a bit worried about because he had certain foods to eat at certain times but you can bring snacks so it worked for us. Nothing that would stop me from coming back 😊

The room was clean and comfy. The leisure facilties and spa staff were great! Although the pool temperature was a bit cold for our liking. Hot tubs were a great addition and worth the money.

The breakfast was disappointing in comparison to local B&Bs we stayed in. The porridge was watery, and there wasn't a great selection of choice. We opted for the afternoon tea spa package, which was lovely however the communication between spa and restaurant was poor as it appeared they didnt know we had booked. However, the afternoon tea was delicious just slow service. The waitress was friendly and polite.

We got a complimentary upgrade - not too sure why but it was my partner's birthday so it made it extra special. Room was amazing! Staff were lovely. Spa treatments were great.

Food options. After booking, I emailed the hotel to tell them my partner would need vegan/vegetarian food for dinner and breakfast. They ensured me that all dietary needs are catered for but we were a bit disappointed with the food on offer. No vegan option for dinner and only 1 vegetarian option from what I remember which was very rich due to all the cheese. For breakfast, we were told the chef couldn't find any more vegetarian sausages in the freezer. I understand things run out but it was a little frustrating as I'd emailed in advance.

I have to say staff were absolutely lovely, I'm sorry I didn't ask the girl at receptions name but she was working Monday the 29th when I arrived and I just want to thank her, as I went up to stay as I was having surgery the next day and I couldn't find an option for late checkout when booking so my partner wasn't waiting in the car outside the hospital for me, mentioned this to her and she had absolutely no issue in extending it and was so friendly. The room was also very clean, had everything needed and bed was comfy. Hotel was nice and even though it's next to main road I couldn't hear any car noise at all in the room. When ever I go back up we will definitely stay there again.

There is nothing at all I didn't like was absolutely perfect.
