Highfield B&B exceeded my expectations. I had a fantasic stay. Fraser and Maria are amazing hosts, extremely friendly and accommodating. They were very flexible with a request for an early breakfast due to a sport's event we attended, we couldn't have asked for better hosts. The breakfast was delicious and plenty of choice for people with dietary requirements incl gluten free, vegan and diary free milk. The place was very clean, modern and kept to a high standard. There was a generous amount of tea/coffee/hot chocolate supplies in the room, kettle, TV, necessary toiletries and clean towels every day, access to a hair drier, iron, even cooling fan in the room. Beds are very comfy. There is a free secure parking outside the property and the location is perfect, very close to the town centre and near the shops. Would highly recommend to anyone staying in Lymington.

This was the perfect stay from start to finish! Warm welcome from Fraser when we arrived, our room was just amazing-we have stayed in lots and lots of B&B's and this was the best by a very long way-better then many hotels that charge much more too! Nothing was too much trouble, Fraser asked if we had any dietary requirements for breakfast- I asked if skinny milk was available-he said that he would get some for me-usually the response is 'no we only have semi-skimmed' The whole place is immaculately clean, the rooms are finished to a very high standard and literally everything you could possibly need is provided.

Leaving after two nights-wish we could have stayed longer!!

Fraser and Maria Godfrey were the bomb! They were everything you would wish for in hosting their guests. We arrived early and interrupted some housekeeping tasks, but Fraser was extremely welcoming and ushered us in from the whipping rain and wind. Our rooms were as requested, the layout was great and we were very happy to have been on the ground floor. Beautiful tasteful decor throughout, with an individual touch to each bedroom. The beds were sumptuous and comfortable with fabulous pillows. The breakfast was just phenomenal it really did set you up for the day - a choice of a full or half English breakfast, fruit, yoghurts, juices, toast, tea and coffee. Just FANTASTIC.

Large spacious room with very comfortable bed , high quality linen and everything to make your stay a comfortable one. The breakfasts are delicious and food is sourced locally and are generous portions. Maria and Fraser are fantastic hosts and make you feel so welcome and are generous with their time to ensure your stay is a comfortable one. The location is quiet but within easy walking distance from town centre

Everything was delightful. We were a party of three with two rooms. Both ground floor rooms were spacious with stylish en-suites. Tower fans were provided (much appreciated). Bottled water & tea/coffee were refreshed each day. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast room & the breakfast were fabulous. The outside terrace had comfortable furniture with umbrellas. We would make any excuse to visit again. The hosts were very welcoming & were especially helpful & understanding during a small medical issue. I would recommend without hesitation.

No negatives. Just a suggestion that a bench or chairs under the shady trees on the lawn would be lovely.

The owners couldn't have been more helpful and Fraser was even kind enough to give us a lift to the ferry as we were running late after there was no phone signal and we couldn't book a taxi; we were very lucky. They were on site when we arrived early (easy bus ride from the station) and gave us access to our room so we could leave our luggage. And breakfast was brilliant, thank you! We were extremely happy with our stay

Exceptional stay at Highfield. The accommodation is of very high standard and is spotless. The rooms are spacious and every need is catered for in the room from toiletries through to bottled water. The en suite was excellent and looked brand new. The owners made the stay very easy and even offered a lift into town for my restaurant booking. The breakfast was exceptional. Great choice, ingredients and cooking.

We really enjoyed our stay at Fraser and Maria’s B&B. Presented to a very high standard, Fraser and Maria who own and run Highfield take great care to ensure their guests have a great stay. Highfield is ideally located with pubs and restaurants a short walk away. There is ample parking for all guests. Fraser and Maria provide a quality breakfast catering for all dietary needs. The perfect B&B.

the owners couldn’t have more accommodating. the breakfast was fantastic and plentiful. the beds were very comfortable. parking onsite was useful.

our room was a little small . it had two seats in the room, but no practical table as this was taken up with the tea and coffee facilities. Also because of the size of the bathroom, it was difficult to navigate through the door and past the toilet.

The best B&B we have ever stayed in. It was the luxury of a hotel but with a homely feel! A perfect balance. The room was so clean, the breakfast amazing and all the staff were so so friendly - nothing was too much trouble. The extra little bits that were put in the room were the icing on the cake. I must have a bottle of water at night and these were provided each day we stayed. Alongside chocolates, biscuits and a great range of teas/coffees. The bathroom was absolutely spotless, which is an absolute must for me! And had a lovely shower. We travelled with our four month old baby, and with my husband being on crutches this was hard work. However both Fraser and Maria helped us constantly throughout our stay wherever they could. They made it enjoyable for me even when travelling under so much stress. We will stay here whenever we visit our family in Lymington now!

There really were no issues, and we have travelled alot, and stayed in many places all over the UK and the world. Both having worked in hospitality we always discuss the ups and downs of each stay. Usually either the staff will let the stay down, or the facilities/room. Here there were zero negatives. Absolutely nothing!! All so fantastic.
