We were warmly welcomed upon arrival, and shown to our room. We did worry a little bit when we spotted earplugs next to the bed, but didn't need them! The room was very clean and had everything we needed. The bathroom was nice and big and clean. The room contained the normal things like kettle/tea/coffee. I did ask for a glass of milk (offered to pay) so I could make a coffee, and I was very quickly handed a jug of milk at no extra cost. Breakfast was superb! I didn't know if we were just lucky on our first morning that everything was cooked to perfection, but our breakfast this morning was just as perfect. Everything was cooked to perfection. I asked for a latte this morning as I find filter coffee too strong (offered to pay again) but was made a lovely 'posh' latte. The staff were ALL really helpful and cheery. The evening staff serving us for dinner were friendly and our waitress was lovely. Our breakfast waiter today was so attentive and polite - all staff that we dealt with were a real asset to the pub.

There was nothing we didn't like - could't fault anything.

the staff were very friendly, including Tina who served breakfast and went the extra mile. Food in the restaurant was tasty and well presented. Excellent shower in the ensuite and beautiful fluffy white towels. Despite the name of the pub, we hadn't realised there was a micobrewery on site which provided superb ales!

our main niggle was the road noise which we should have foreseen, being located on a main road into Lymington. Ear plugs are thoughtfully provided however, and these did help. Additionally there was considerable noise from the very early morning cleaners downstairs in the bar/restaurant

We looked it up and thought we took a chance but instantly fell in love! The friendly reception, the general ambience and the super lovely decorated room with very comfortable beds and adjacent modern bathroom with good lighting. Could hardly be better. We had a well cooked dinner and one, no two, pints of the brewery beer. One of the best we've ever had! A full breakfast was included and cooked - but the rest of it was limited.

If one travels by public transport it is quite a distance to Monkey brewery. The breakfast lacked choice apart from the cooked.

We had a lovely big room and en-suite very clean and everything we needed, the breakfast was lovely, but most importantly the staff were fantastic, nothing was to much trouble all very polite and they definitely enjoyed thier work, we will certainly be coming back.

The only negative we found was people letting thier dogs sit up on the benches outside, the cushions got grubby and smelt, not nice when you want to sit outside and you are wearing something nice

Lovely place to stay, nice clean decent size room. Food was absolutely excellent. Staff were absolutely excellent also, particularly the lovely lady who greeted us upon arrival and took us to our room. it was a shame she wasn’t there when we left today as we really wanted to let her know how much we appreciated all her help. Really good value for money and would highly recommend!

the pillows were a tad firm for our liking but everyone is different so you can’t please everybody!

it was a 20 min walk from town centre and seafood festival (our main reason to stay) the rooms were lovely and up to date, we enjoyed drinks on site in the evening and live music from Phil who was amazing! then could hop straight up to bed once finished.. staff were all really friendly and made sure we were always okay! a Brewery was the ideal place for my beer mad partner too!

It was hot (not the property’s fault- they did provide a fan) so we slept with the window open and at times main road can be noisy - not enough to keep us awake all night. The breakfast was okay but nothing to shout about, only choice of cereal or full English.

Staff were lovely, bed comfy, room clean, modern shower room. Full English breakfast excellent (and great coffee!), room clean. Nice touches such as bottles of local spring water in room. Quirky decor downstairs in the pub with a monkey theme. I gave a couple of suggestions to improve the guest experience and the manager was happy to take them onboard.

Traffic noise could be an issue for some people as on a busy main road, not their problem I know, due to their location. I personally found it quite loud in the evening and early morning, but it quietened down enough at night so that I was able to sleep. (The windows in that room are an older style and not double-glazed). That is the main reason for giving an overall 8 out of 10 rather than higher and a slightly lower score on the 'comfort' section!

We were given a warm welcome and shown to our room which was lovely, they had even provided a fan as the weather was extremely warm. Although positioned on a main road the traffic noise was minimal and we were provided earplugs!! The evening meal was delicious, as was breakfast. Thank you so much for an enjoyable stay.

There really wasn't anything I did not like! Staff, accommodation, food, and service were all top-notch! No complaints here!!

Absolutely great location staff fantastic especially young lady behind bar, also can’t forget the lovely breakfast chef, the breakfast was superb ,great range and great produce , and both eggs lovely and dippy ,finished off with great service .New Forest or beach within 10 minutes! our room was small but all you would need, great shower room ,lovely bed , but maybe not everyone’s taste as Room3 has a firm bed which was great for us, but not everyone’s taste, great pillows and very cosy. Cannot believe how quiet is was with secondary double glazing closed, best night sleep we have had in any B&B or Hotel bar none, if there was one little thing wrong would be the clanging around, between 6.30—-7.30 in morning, not sure what it was but think is was cleaners in morning moving chairs onto tables, but apart from that we think this is the GEM in the Forest.

The staff were extremely friendly and obliging. Tea, coffee and water in room. The room was clean and comfortable, nice shower and bathroom with toiletries provided. The pub was busy and popular and served food. Easy short drive to Lymington high St. and harbour. Lymington a lovely town. The breakfast was cooked to order and exceptional.

The residents rear entrance could do with a lick of paint, but this did not impact on our enjoyment of the stay.
