The property was clean and just what we needed for a short stay, the staff were very helpful and friendly. The food was great especially the chips. In the evening there was a BBQ, music and a roaring fire outside to keep the chill off.

Nothing really. Did had an issue with the door to the room opening and locking but that could have been with due to the rain.

Nice breakfast, handy for where we wanted to visit. Had room with twin beds.

Booking mix-up on arrival, (two nights. two rooms, for two people - when it should have been one night in Twin room) but staff friendly and helpful. All worked out well in the end. Arrived late, nice pub food in the bar and nice breakfast. No complaints :)

All good; nice comfortable room and bathroom, quiet village setting, good breakfast. Staff were great and engagement with the owner was welcome.

Too many flies in the dining area - they really need to be dealt with! And the wifi didn't work in the room though it was fine in the bar area.

The location, and the site of the pub and the modern additions were excellent. The room was spacious airy and spotless. The view from the patio was green and pleasant, with the bonus of a country walk from the grounds.

The pub has no service on a Sunday so we couldn't eat in the Restaurant. This was made clear when we booked so this was a disappointment, it's not a complaint. If there had been an event on in the marquee then it might have been noisy.

Lovely accommodation, modern, comfy. Staff were really friendly. Great breakfast the next day. Nice secure car park. Location for perfect for the wedding we were attending.

Door needs to be adjusted as was sticky so needed a swift kick to gain entrance.

Breakfast excellent. Staff lovely. But needs to be a little more organisation. Our room remained unserviced as we were not informed of the requirement to advise if this was required(!).

Everything else was fantastic

The room was a good size and so was the bathroom. The location of the room was in a quiet place so we slept well. The breakfast was included which was a full english breakfast and tasted amazing.

I booked via bookings.com and when my husband went to check in, he was told that they were fully booked and that my name was not on the list. He then called me and I spoke to a gentleman who again told me they were fully booked. I told him I have the booking confirmation from bookings.com and also have been using the app to communicate with the hotel staff. It took a while but eventually my husband was able to check-in. The problem was that the staff at the hotel did not add my name on there booking diary and booked someone else in. How they did that I have no idea. Overall it was a pleaseant stay, but call the hotel to ensure you are in there diary!

If you very light sensitive like me the bedroom area has some bright lights (fire alarms mostly so I guess needed)

Very posh, recently decorated apartment with plenty of space. good air con. Separate from the pub, so nice and quiet and fabulous breakfast.

Design over substance - no bedside lights, no charging socket for tech and the designer sink was too small for anything except cleaning teeth.

Breakfast both mornings in very quaint quiet dining room. Food well presented and very tasty. nothing too much trouble for Andy the cook come waiter. Also thanks to owner Alan and Sue for lovely hospitality and to Alan for showing us around the small paddocks where he raised the farm animals.
