Everything ALMOST.. There is a bar area which when full could be noisy. There is an over 18s area which when the "kids" are in playing games is noisy. We couldn't find a spot to enable us to simply talk, Its an old fashioned concept i understand but we were meeting for the first time in a year and although we manged, sometimes. It was not easy to chat. Going outside was just too hot to contemplate. Could the "kiddies" games area be sectioned off with a speaker or so removed from the outer area and added to the games area (making it a little quieter) for those few who like to chat and listen to music. at the same time making the need for the volume in the games room to be less, without unduly spoiling their pleasure.

If when the over 18s left us over 60s alone, we could have had the music a little lower at that stage it would have been nicer . Our stay was Great overall and my wishes as laid out above, are simply things which would have made it a little nicer.

Overall, a good place to stay in the area. Very reasonably priced and the standard of accommodation easily matched the price I paid so, value for money, really good. Room very comfortable and all staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant attached was clearly very popular with the locals and with a good atmosphere; busy but with plenty of space so did not feel crowded. Just nice to see so many people out and about having a good time! Felt quite at home!

The GPS postcode is centred away from the hotel. I'd sort of looked at where the hotel was so could re-orientate myself but worth noting before you set off! A sign placed at the junction where the GPS seems to then direct you away from the hotel would be handy.

The property is good clean and good that it’s the same building as the hungry horse restaurant.

Safety is the major concern at this place. At night the front door to the hotel is not locked . Theres no swab key to open the door , the door is just literally left unlocked. Also the door leading out of reception directly to the room doors is unlocked and anyone can just walk in off the street. I stayed at double tree the night after I stayed here for the Darts masters and they have the doors as you get of the lift to the rooms locked and you can only get through my scanning your card key. Anyone could just walk in and be outside your bedroom door essentially and do anything imagine if you’re on the top floor aswell.

Beds were huge and very comfortable. Good to have a restaurant open throughout the day. Food was fantastic with very friendly and attentive staff. Location was a bit strange with so many new builds around it was deceiving, it felt a very Strange area. A great night's sleep and conveniently placed for where we had to be.

Postcode MK109AA on the address was slightly out. Check - in staff was very charming and happy but started explaining my reservation wasn't booked. She spent a good 10 minutes trying to find me even though it was on my confirmation email which was sent only a day before. It was actually booked as my first name being my surname. It's simple but still a worry. If this is how Booking.com arrange bookings then I'm sure hotels should be use to it.

Room was clean and comfortable . Staff were very pleasant throughout , the pub was busy and typical for a Hungry Horse pub , a more comfortable seating area would be good but it is Hungry Horse brand . Food was ok when we ate on Friday evening , breakfast was good on both days and is good value for money on the inclusive deal. Breakfast lady was welcoming and helpful. It is in a quiet location but easy to get to the A5 and M1 roads .

It was up to our expectations.

I like that it was all incorporated, the staff were great friendly and helpful and the food was also very good no complaints there. Toilets clean and tidy. Rooms were spacious and to look at first sight a very super large king size bed is amazing even tho I know it was like two large singles was just lovely. TV was great condition and works lol. All in all great stay and would visit again.

The headboard in room 20 there was bits of leather look material falling on me and the bed all night was driving me insane so I moved my head down the bed away from it which meant my feet were hanging out. The doors bang so loudly the room door I know are fire doors and have to be but maybe a slow close fixture on them and bless whoever stays in room 16 cos that door bangs for Britain.

value for money, decent breakfast! nice hot, cheap food at the pub next door. very friendly and helpful staff! managed to order a pudding at the bar to take back to my room. Free wifi is good! i will definitely be back

No one at reception when checking in at 9pm, told booking.com i would arrive between 9pm and 10pm, rang bell outside a number of time, nearly thought i would have to sleep on the car, luckily i asked someone at the pub next door and a vdry helpful chat at the bar helped me out. bed in room 7 was very worn and un-comfy. Got told i had to leave the dinner table by 7.30 because of the fight that was on,

Breakfast was incredible! excellent continental option. a range of teas which was great. I'm vegetarian and there was a large range of cooked options for me too! and soya milk.

Sadly, we had issues with a couple of girls having a party in the room next door. Loud is an understatement! This did make the experience less comfortable, however once they did calm down we slept great :) We also didn't receive a top-up of tea bags the next day. I generally just expect that, but no issue to not come here again.

The hotel was set in lovely surroundings, hotel staff was really friendly. The room was just the right size very comfortable bed, iron, ironing board,TV, tea coffee supplied. The bathroom decor a little dated but the shower was very nice to use. The hotel sits alongside the hungry horse restaurant which was very convenient, nice food. All in all it was a lovely stay.

The only negative was on our second morning the fire alarm went off which woke us up earlier than wanted as we came back very late from a wedding the day before, not sure why that was.

We.love Paula and the manager n her husband, sorry didn't get your names. Paula is a superwoman, nothing too.much trouble for her, such a warm.lovely person. Cleaning staff very friendly again nothing too much trouble.

Rooms and bathrooms could really do with an update as toilet rolls holders hanging off the walls, rusty appliances. Bath shabby but to be honest we lovely the friendliness of the hotel so we keep coming back.
