great location and friendly helpful staff.

bit outdated but perfectly comfortable. my husband is on crutches so whilst he doesn't need an accessible room I wasn't aware some rooms (like ours 209) were not accessible by the lift and had a long complicated route involving several steps to get there. receptionist did offer help with bags but didn'temtion quite how convoluted the route was. Cooked breakfast(upgraded room to get this as long journey ahead) was cold, fresh toast provided but burnt on one side(everyone's not just mine). room was at front of hotel on the main road above crossing and only one window had secondary glazing so it was a bit noisy.

I stayed at the Swan Revived Hotel whilst attending the British Grand Prix, and I couldn't be happier with my choice! The room was great, the pub grub was great, the beer was great, the breakfast was great, and the staff were all amazingly friendly and welcoming! The hotel is perfectly located for the F1 weekend, as it's only a 10 min taxi ride down to the Silverstone shuttle bus departure point. It's also 10 mins from Milton Keynes Central.

I'm struggling to find something I didn't like - maybe the sink in the room was a bit surprising but it's obviously a clever use of space, so it's logical and it works well.

We liked bar and restaurant it looks like the hotel has a lot of history behind it which I think is great hotel staff were very pleasant. Lovely area loads of restaurants and bars and cafes and Shops. And loads of places to visit.

The room We stayed in wasn't the best. We couldn't close windows properly. We were right above bar and right by the tables people sitting outside making a lot of noise. We went to bed a bit earlier due to a long day. We didn't like the sink in the sleeping room which We thought was a bit unhygienic. After saying that We did ask for another room next day. Which We got in the end.

The hotel was very close to Chicheley Hall where we were attending a wedding (although the local taxi firms seemed to have trouble finding the Hall). The rooms were well decorated and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. There is a pub area at the rear with plenty of seating inside and out. Although we didn't eat there in the evening there looked to be a good selection of food. Nice breakfast in the morning (we paid extra for this).

The hotel might not suit guests with mobile issues as there are a lot of stairs and no ground floor rooms (this is mentioned before booking). The stairs are quite steep and slanty as it is a lovely old building. We were fine though and this was not a problem. The breakfast was nice, but thought £15 each was slightly pricey.

The staff were very helpful and friendly with information you need and even showing us around and couldn't do enough for us, the rooms are a good size with everything you need, including a hairdryer and a fan for those hot nights, the room was nice and clean and had blackout curtains, the beds are so comfortable with a good choice of pillows, would recommend this hotel and will return again if I'm ever in the Milton Keynes area

There was nothing to dislike, its a beautiful building and has its own little cosy pub attached and plenty of free parking round the back which is easy to get to

It was very easy check in, welcoming staff, room wasn’t too difficult to find. Night porter available after hours to allow access which was nice. Location was good for where I needed to be and seemed to be lots of interesting shops nearby. I was working so didn’t get the opportunity to have a look around but did notice salons barber shops and convenience store etc The outside area was nice to sit especially when it was such a lovely warm summer evening

Being a pub downstairs it was quite noisy and is obviously to be expected when booking this type of accommodation. The room was small it had what seemed to be a small double bed, yes I booked for one person but felt small. Very clean with nice modern bathroom but the rest is a bit dated. However it is an old building so I guess it adds to the quirkiness of it

An interesting, well kept, old building at the centre of Town. Limited parking is available but with close access to public car park. Facilities are as to be expected and kept clean and tidy. Bed was comfortable, staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. A large dining area and a function room are also available. The hotel bar is quite ‘snug’ and is close to a very comfortable reception area. A ‘pub’ (The Frog and Nightgown) is at the rear of the Hotel.

The windows in our room tended to rattle. A minor irritation was that, in our room, the wash basin was not in the bathroom. But allowance was made due to the age of the building.

We had a triple room for the adults. We had the newly refurbished king suite which was lovely. Plenty of towels, plenty of tea/coffee and plenty of space. Staff were great and welcoming and the location was fantastic for us. Parking was a bonus but it does only have about 5 spaces. Breakfast was delicious. Plenty of choice, exceptional quality ingredients and well cooked.

Two things that would have made this a 10. For a suite, a fridge would be an absolute bonus. It's warm, we had drinks n snacks that needed to be kept cool. Not very often now you book larger, quality rooms that don't have a mini fridge. Also, bottled water. There was tea, coffee and biscuits but with the summer heat, water would've been a great addition.

The welcome at reception was excellent and speedy. The room (213) was as expected for the rate with all that we needed. The residents lounge off reception was a nice quiet area to sit, drink and read the paper after a long day out at Bletchley park nearby. We didn't use in-house restaurant, so can't comment on this. The menu looked good for the usual pub food, but we fancied Thai food which was at a place 50 yds up the street. The bed was comfy, and bathroom did its job. The nights sleep was very good. The breakfast the next morning was excellent and delicious. Checkout was as simple as could be.

Hotel was perfect for a one night stay. We were staying for a wedding nearby. Great location. Friendly staff. Clean room, nice bar area. Breakfast was reasonable and included in the price. Had everything we needed.

The hotel is looking a little tired. Our room overlooked the outside bar area.. There was people outside in the courtyard until very late, (after midnight). They were talking very loudly and the noise carried. The windows did not block out any noise. The room was very warm & we weren't able to leave a window open. There was a fan provided. Wouldn't stop me staying again.
