The swimming pool and lobby bar . Breakfast is great .The staff that served us our meal Bow and Peach was excellent, they remembered us from last year , Staff at the desk was all welcoming and friendly , I asked for a fridge was told they did not have any more , but 5minutes later The staff member said that the maintenance man had found one , and it was put in our room , so thankyou for that , Fiona in the breakfast bar remembered us from our last visit , she is always happy and smiling and ready to help with anything so a big thankyou to everyone .Will be back here again hopfully we can stay in one of the new rooms .

, Our room was quite dusty where the TV is having stayed for a while that area was never touched , so cleaned it ourselves.

Room was a great size, the air conditioning was an amazing plus as it was so warm. Having a large comfy chair was a big plus too, I didn't feel I had to lie on the bed to read! Having a bath as well as a shower was great. We had a beautiful breakfast every morning. The sandwiches in the lounge are fresh and lovely. We also used the lounge in the evening before heading out for food, plenty of restaurants within walking distance. The shopping centre is just through the underpass! Tasted street food over there too, Nigerian, amazing!

The pool having lessons on during when we wanted a swim, though as it was quiet and we were fine. Rather dusty under the bed at the top end.

ALL the staff were so welcoming and friendly, we even got a free kit kat for my grandson who stayed with us. Nothing was too much trouble, the staff at breakfast were all so lovely. The pool was quiet and relaxing, the staff again were really helpful. My grandsons bed had been missed but was being made up as we arrived, service was so good. We will be making this our go to hotel every time we visit.

We parked as advised. I had checked the website which advised parking was £11.00 per night, bit steep but literally in the centre of town. However we were charged £25. We have queried this with reception staff who advised us that this was wrong. We are still waiting for them to get back to us. I feel that more than double slightly marred our stay.

We thought the room was spacious as there was three of us staying. We had dinner in the restaurant and enjoyed the food although there was a piece of paper in one of the deserts , this was bought to the attention of the serving staff and dealt with promptly. We enjoyed the leisure facility and were signposted to busy and quiet times which was helpful. Breakfast was yummy with plenty of choice and freshly cooked to order pancakes which our grand daughter enjoyed, great hot and cold options .

The car park signpost is misleading , we were charged a lot more by paying before we entered the hotel. We explained to the reception staff and were given drinks vouchers to compensate . Having booked the meal deal when paying our final bill we were charged for our grand daughters meal although no child’s menu was given to us when ordering we were told to order from the main menu. This was questioned by us when paying the bill and we ended up paying fifty percent of the cost of the child’s dinner !

Modern and clean, breakfast was very good with lots of options, hot and fresh. The lady on breakfast duty, Jackie, was absolutely brilliant and made everyone feel welcome. Chatty but not intrusive. The two ladies on duty late at night were brilliant and gave great customer service on a busy night when a concert at the Bowl had ended and everyone wanted something to eat and drink. They made everyone feel valued.

Late on the Sunday night when the bar was mobbed with people returning from the concert at the Bowl, we were directed to sit in a closed off section of the bar by two lovely staff members but we were then told off by an officious bar manager for sitting in a closed section! The two ladies did exactly the right thing as we, and several other groups, were eating drinking and spending money, none of which we would have done had they not taken the decision to seat us. He could not see the bigger picture and I suspect it was because he didn't want to have to clear already clean tables again!

The breakfast was really lovely. The hotel was quiet (couldn't hear noise from other rooms when in my room) and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Their was air conditioning in the room. I would stay here again if visiting Milton Keynes.

I didn't like that there was no access to an open window in my room. There was a balcony overlooking the inside of the hotel and balcony door but no access/locked. Staff were willing to accommodate a move for the day after as they were fully booked, however I thought it easier to just stay in the room instead of switching rooms first thing in the morning after a night out.

The check in staff and ALL The restaurant staff, evening and breakfast were absolutely fantastic. So friendly and welcoming. They were honestly all so welcoming and friendly

There was a bit of a mix up with bookings, but I blame booking.con for that as for the first booking I didn’t have a confirmation booking so I booked again. I was then worried I had double booked and rung the hotel to check. It transpired that I had double booked but she said she had cancelled the second booking before the cancellation date. When I arrived at the hotel it appears that the second booking hadn’t been cancelled but the lovely lady sorted it all out and we ended up with the room and half board that I had thought I had booked.

The room was excellent, exceeded my expectations with a view towards the hills, giving it a lovely backdrop, top floor room so minimal noise, just like my booking.com preference; the atrium was charming and contained a nice bar with a Starbucks, the health club was also absolutely amazing and is handily labelled "HC" in the lift, Location is perfect and within 10-15 mins walk of the station and a 5-minute walk from the shopping centre, near restaurants and pubs. Parking is also cheaper than nearby car parks and is also relatively secure, and has plenty of disabled bays available close to the entrance. The staff were also excellent and friendly, and you could always chat and laugh with them; it's always nice when that happens.

I just wish I could have stayed longer, it was amazing and I didn't want to leave

The reception staff went above any expectations for us. It was our daughters 11th birthday and Maisie made her feel so special by giving her a V.I.K band and asking about her birthday. The breakfast was lovely and so were the bar and bar staff. we liked the fact there were games for us to play as a family in the bar area.

The pool was murky and there was a hole in the floor of the pool. I think one of the drain / filter covers had come off so there was a large hole in the floor of the pool which you couldn’t see as the water was murky and my daughters foot fell down it. when telling the staff member who was checking chlorine levels etc he said ‘yeah we are working on it’ - I think there should have been more of an awareness of the fact it was there such as that part of the pool being closed off. Changing facilities weren’t clean and floor was grubby.

From checking in to leaving the staff at the hotel were friendly, helpful and very professional. I would like to give a special mention to Maisie on the front desk and Karen who showed us to our seats at breakfast, they are both a credit to the Hotel. Maisie was very friendly and explained all about the hotel and surroundings and took the time to make conversation with myself and my daughter. We both walked away saying "what a lovely girl" Karen showed us to our seats at breakfast and explained how breakfast was served, it was very busy but she said everything with a smile on her face and nothing was too much trouble. We thouroughly enjoyed our stay, the Hotel was lovely, clean and the rooms and beds were very comfortable. I will definitely be recommending the hotel to my friends and family and would love to come back and stay. Thank you Denise x
