The room is super comfortable and clean with access to a private bathroom. Caroline and Jonathan are really nice and made my stay at Ty Selah great. I had a problem with an adapter to charge my phone and Caroline was able lend me one first and then order me one on Amazon UK. You have also access to the kitchen and can also chat with them. Caroline also makes amazing home made yogurth and cakes! It felt like being at home with my family. I highly recommend it.

Nothing everything was amazing. It takes a little bit to get hot water when you take a shower but after a couple of minutes shower is really nice and hot.

The location was perfect and very quiet. The room I was in was a great size. The bed was firm but very comfy. The duck down quilt made it feel like a home from home. Caroline and Jonathan made you feel so welcome. Even when I requested an early book in. The Welsh cakes were a great touch. There were loads of parking spaces.

I would only say there wasn't much in the way of toiletries available. With only being there for 1 night, it was more than enough. As stated above. The Welsh cakes were a great touch. Down side, there were only 2 little ones. I would have eating a full pack of large ones, 😆 There is nothing more to report.

C and J are a delightful couple. Their hospitality is well documented in the reviews and they made me feel very welcome. I loved being away from the tv - it was so tranquil. At first I thought it was a bit odd when I saw there was no TV advertised in the rooms but there was also no TV noise coming from other rooms keeping me awake. The fireside chit chat was wonderfully entertaining. If you're of a grumpy disposition or addicted to reality trash tv, stay at the Premier Inn where a surly reception is de rigeur. I thought that the price of the room was way too low for the quality offered. Guys, if you're reading this, stick another £20 on the tariff. I nearly stayed away when I saw the price, but the reviews saved the day.

I didn't like leaving, but there you go. I didn't like parking but don't bring a big van and you'll be fine. I didn’t like ..... nope, that's it

The hosts were really lovely; we had some great chats with them and Caroline even left us some brownies for our arrival as she had been baking. They also kindly agreed for us to arrive early, although our plans changed and we ended up arriving later. The rooms were clean, spacious and nicely decorated. They kindly catered for our dietary requirements and the kitchen has everything you need. Also liked the views from the top floor.

It took us a while to work out how to open the key safe. The mattresses were very soft (which may suit some people; we just prefer firmer ones). Parking isn't available directly outside; this wasn't a problem for us but worth keeping in mind.

I travelled down to Neath as a last minute trip and have to say I found an exceptional guest house. Caroline and Jonathan are so friendly and make up feel phenomenally welcome as soon as you set foot through the door. The room was an excellent size with one of the most comfiest beds I've ever slept in. In the room were some homemade Welsh cakes which were to die for, and the range of teas and coffee was most welcome. There was nothing that Caroline and Jonathan wouldn't do for you, whether that would be a coffee in the morning, the fantastic breakfast, a sing song around the grand piano (yes, really), or a belting rendition of This is Me in the kitchen! It's such a homely feel in the property and the furniture and ambiance rivals anything you can imagine. I arrived as a guest and left feeling like a member of the family. I will definitely return in the future and look forward to it again. Thank you so much for making me feel so welcome.

I cannot praise this place enough the owners were really sweet and accommodating, made us fresh coffee when we arrived, the room was very comfortable with home made Welsh cakes and tea and coffee in the room. The private bathroom was wonderful and everything worked as it should, the breakfast in the morning was delicious and there is parking right outside that is free past 6pm. I can't fault this place at all it really is a wonderful, warm, welcoming accommodation. Thank you x

If Carlsberg did hosts.... Stayed here for the annual Dragon bike ride starting in nearby Port Talbot. Hosts Jonathan and Caroline were amazing... Friendly and fun couple who couldn't do enough for me, from bike storage to even buying me in gluten free bread and cereal. Lovely, quirky accommodation and a really pleasant, friendly environment. Highly recommended

Absolutely fabulous property- the hosts were extremely friendly and welcoming, the room and bed were comfortable, and the bathroom facilities clean and well-laid out. Delicious continental breakfast was provided, with lots of home made elements, and the lady of the house makes a fantastic barista coffee! I would definitely recommend a stay here.

Everything. The bed was larger than expected, most comfortable I've experienced, best night sleep in a long time. Coffee maker and homemade snacks were exquisite, as well as the reading selection available, comfy sofa and chair next to the window, beautiful bathroom next door. The owners were very pleasant interesting to talk to, it was a pleasure to be in their company.

Friendly hospitable hosts in side road within easy walk of town centre. Good-sized room at back, clean, comfortable, good wifi. Separate bathroom (with bath). Good breakfast with home-made produce. Offered use of kitchen to make a meal, use of washing machine, and even use of grand piano! I don't very often give 10/10, but there were no problems here at all.

The only thing I can think of is that I would have preferred an earlier check-in time.
