The bedroom was really nice , comfortable and clean and liked the lighting, plugs etc.

The breakfast was generally nice like the cereals, toast, fruit, jams etc. However the croissants were quite dry and my husband thought the cooked breakfast could be a lot better. There was only scrambled egg, no other choice, and there were no mushrooms or tomatoes only baked beans. The sausages and bacon were very well cooked. The orange juice was extremely watery and not a lot of flavour. Just a few small changes and it would be excellent.

A warm and helpful welcome despite me being a thoroughly soaked bike dripping onto the reception floor. I booked at the last minute, as I was supposed to have been camping, so the price was higher than I would normally pay but very glad to have a warm, comfortable, DRY bed for the night. Breakfast was good with plenty to be had.

Would love to have had access to laundry facilities in particular a tumble drier but appreciate this would have been above and beyond.

The staff, in particular the night manager was so friendly, helpful, polite and professional. Check in was a breeze and rooms were a good size

I wish it was dusted better. There was a fan in the room and soon as I touched it the dust just flew off leaving me coughing. I have a dust allergy so it's not cool unfortunately. Stain on the bedsheet so need better inspection when cleaned. A wheel missing on the chair for the desk which caused me to fall over

Breakfast great... I love fresh fruit and yoghurt. Location handy for visiting relative in hospital plus go for an evening meal next door and in nearby town centre or visit friends using the M4

The bathroom needs another hook right next to the shower door to hang the dry towel... ready to grab from the shower. The duvet was too hot... 10.5 tog when it was 20°c overnight! There is no air-conditioning either.

Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Breakfast is reasonable, however there could be more choice for the hot breakfast.

Very little choice on the evening menu. Only really burgers and pizza. There could be more options including pies, vegetables, steak and various meats etc. There could also be more draught beers on the bar. There is only Stella lager. There could be some pale ales and guiness etc.

The quality of the bed was superb and I slept like a baby. We loved the interconnecting room so our boys were next door and could liaise with them through the rooms not having to go out of the room. Perfect.

We had a room suitable for disabled clients so the sink a little low. The water sink was a little blocked so did not allow the water to flow down very quickly, it took some time.

We have stayed at this hotel many times over the years and the staff have always been great and the breakfast is lovely. To control the temperature of the room is very easy and the shower in 138 is amazing- We didn't want to get out of it.

The only downside to the hotel is the mattresses, me and my partner would turn over and you automatically roll into the middle of the mattress which can be very annoyed in the middle of the night.

The lady on the desk when we checked in at 1:30am was one of the most polite welcoming people I've ever met in my life, we had a 10 minute conversation about why my friend and I were in Wales from Newcastle and she gave us directions to places and just had a nice general talk about if we need anything etc, she deserves praise from a manager for her interaction with us

Nice and welcoming staff & reception area. Clear information, on hotel facilities. Times of meals etc . And next door to a restaurant with a good choice of food. Nice breakfast with plenty of choice thanks.

Usual door banging ignorant guests at 4. A.M. woke me up from a comfortable sleep. But obviously you can't choose your guests. Just experience. Would recommend to others.
