Staff were so friendly and couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful. Got a room upgrade which was a lovely surprise. Food in the restaurant was excellent. Basic breakfast buffet but this was supplemented with delicious freshly cooked breakfast of choice. Had an early check-out (6am) but was kindly offered coffee/bacon rolls although breakfast didn't open until 7am - this was above & beyond expectation. Room was very comfortable and quiet - with all amenities I needed. Lots of car parking.

No view from the room (frosted glass window) but window opened so could still get air which was great. Was there during darkness anyway so this is a very minor issue and preferred having a quiet room at the back of the hotel (so view would have been of car park anyway!)

Very easy check in, staff very friendly and helpful. Accessible room due to being disabled, which was very comfortable and clean with an excellent accessible bathroom. Room was on the top floor but there was a lift so that wasn't a problem. Breakfast was very good

Our room must have been close to a big fan or air conditioning unit outside/on the roof of the building which was very noisy and was constantly going all night which made it hard for me to get to sleep. Because it was a warm night we needed our window open, if it had been colder and we'd been able to close the window, it might not have been as noticeable.

bedroom not cleaned every day, rubbish not emptied, towels removed & not always replaced, floor not hoovered for the week I stayed, dirty cups not cleaned each day, dirty glass left in room for several days, milk & teabags not replaced on a daily basis

Lovely friendly staff, especially Simon in the bar also a lovely girl sorry but I can't remember her name, waiters were lovely we wanted to go for a walk & they told us where there was a lovely walk, we had the steak special & it was to die for we got a house red wine 🍷 it was beautiful great value for the price, our room was a decent size & very clean and the bed & pillows were so comfortable, we had a great night's sleep, shower was big. Breakfast was lovely. I would definitely stay here again

We loved it, we arrived late on Tues and Brian, who was night porter, couldn't have been more helpful and kind. The beds were comfy and will say it was the quietest hotel I've ever stayed in and I've stayed in quite a few. Brian was so lovely each evening we arrived wold certainly be back again because he's so helpful kind chatty makes all difference at the front of house.

I got the room on the ground floor by the entrance ramp, so everyone can look in your room. Fine by me, but some might not like it. Restaurant is good. And a good job too cos, walking round Newtownards on a Sunday night, I can confirm literally nowhere within walking distance is in the slightest bit open!

The location was close to were our son lives and also nice shopping centre nearby. Good to have a free car park. Also nice to have breakfast included in price .

The bath could do with a hand rail at the top so it’s safer and easier to get out after a shower. A shower mat would be nice as it’s quite slippy after you Wash.

Due to circumstances beyond my controlling organising a room for me as I was not sure l I had an emergency stay in hospital The staff were extremely helpful in organising medical help and kept my belongings untill they were collected As I had to return to the hotel they were again very accommodating as I was unsure of my discharge.At all times they were helpful professional and supportive.

I felt that the meals in the hotel 🏨 were rather pricey although very nice

The location was perfect for the places we wanted to visit. Breakfast was an added bonus and was delicious. The hotel was very clean and comfortable and great value for money.

There was no view from the window as it was opaque glass but to be fair we were told this when we booked. The room had a locked connecting door with another room and we could hear the people next door.

No gluten free alternatives at breakfast even thought it said on the menu that there was and with someone with celiac I mentioned for this to be available for breakfast. Unfortunately I left very hungry and being offered vegetarian alternatives is not suitable for someone like me as this food can also contain gluten. Very very disappointed ☹️.
