Primrose Cottage is a delightful, traditional Norfolk cottage in a peaceful location. It is very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Our en-suite room was spacious, comfortable and decorated / furnished to a very high standard. Karen is a wonderful host, so welcoming, helpful and friendly. She greeted us with tea and home made cake on arrival before leaving us to settle in to our room. She offers a wide range of breakfast options. We tried most of them during our week long stay and they were all delicious. There were lots of nice touches, like fresh fruit, tea/coffee/biscuits and bottled water in our room. Karen was very attentive, making up the room every day and replenishing anything that we had used. I have stayed in lots of B&Bs over the years and this was one of the best. Highly recommended!

Host was very friendly and made you feel at home. There was a variety of different things for breakfast, I had a hard time choosing from the breakfast menu. The fry up was exclusively tasty, nothing like a Premier Inn Fry up.

I didn't have an ashtray so felt awkward dumping butt's under the bench. There wasn't any decaff coffee/ tea in the room, it would have been nice since in the morning I would go straight down for a proper cafetiere coffee and didn't find use for the sachets upstairs. I didn't want to be awake all night but would have appreciated a warm cup.

The owner is a very nice lady who went every extra mile in making us very welcomed and satisfied with our stay. The room was very nice, very lit and spotless. Oh, and very very quiet, which we did appreciate. The breakfast was of "what ever your heart desire" type and there's nothing we could ask for more. The property is a very short drive from the beach. We will definitely come back.

Breakfast was fantastic with a good selection of fresh fruits and cooked selections including full English and Omelettes. The rooms were all very clean and Karen was super helpful - including booking us a table for Sunday dinner at a local pub. Being an old cottage, some doorways were extremely low but all rooms had good ceiling height so this wasn't a problem.

Walking options are limited as the roads are narrow with no footpaths.

Karen is an impeccable host, she is an extremely generous lady and her home is incredibly welcoming, cosy and spotlessly clean. The bed is so comfortable and the breakfast was a feast! Off road parking, cute little cat friend to greet us and the house is super peaceful, warm and homely. We were so happy with our stay and really look forward to seeing Karen again when we're next planning a trip to Norfolk. Couldn't recommend enough. Fab location also near to Walcott, Happisburgh and Sea Palling beaches too.

Only mistake I made was in choosing the double room instead of the two single beds which I had meant to. But the bed is very comfortable so it wasn't a problem. Literally couldn't fault anything at Primrose Cottage - wish we could've stayed a little longer!!

Breakfast was first class with plenty of cold options and we chose the time of breakfast and our hot options the night before which was fine. The portions qwere huge and far too large for my wife to eat.

This property has two rooms to let and the room with ensuite had already been booked. We had a private bathroom adjacent to our room which was fine but would have preferred the ensuite if we go again

Exceptionally comfortable cottage and attentive host. Lovely greeting from friendly host who straight away offered me tea that was beautifully presented on a tray and served in very comfy lounge. Great night's sleep in lovely bedroom overlooking cottage garden and fields beyond. I would highly recommend a stay here.

Primrose cottage was an absolute amazing stay , nice few days with my husband and totally chilled Karen the host was lovely, caring. Karen’s breakfast menu is value for money and she cooks it all. In the bedroom there is tea and coffee facilities, big bowl of fruit topped up daily , we will be going back x

Everything. wonderful host beautiful cottage. Karen was her usual warm friendly self. tea coffee and biscuits awaited us. fabulous clean comfortable rooms. excellent breakfast the best we’ve ever had. didn’t want to leave but please God Karen we will be back again next year.

nothing it was perfect

The location and the cottage itself were lovely. Beautiful views over the fields and so quiet. Karen is a great host! The bedroom and our bathroom very clean and the bed linen and towels top quality. The bed is so comfortable! English Breakfast (meat and veggie version) beautifully cooked plus a great selection of cereals, toast, fruit and yogurts. Tea and Coffee making facilities were in the room, plus biscuits, bottles of water and fresh fruit.
